I would give them zero stars if I could! Horrible experience! I went to look at a used 2014 Honda Odyssey. The car fax showed 2 recalls that they had not had fixed. When I called Honda to see if they could still be fixed and gave them the VIN number, they informed me that the car actually had THREE recalls that needed to be fixed. Also, I would have to pay $150 to update the navigation system (it was the 2014 version and a 2018 version is available). After the test drive, I was taken into the office and told there was a mandatory upgrade, with a cost of $999. It is a security system that supposedly gets you a discount on your car insurance. It tells you where your car is if it gets stolen. Then, I was asked what it would take to earn my business, and was told my offer was insulting (although it was listed in the NADA price range). No counter offer was made, and I never met the manager (which is odd). Anyway, buyer beware...especially if you are driving a long distance for an "internet deal" that seems to good to be true (they are going to add at least $999 to it). read more

Needed some services recently, Chris Martinez handled a problem for my wife's durango that turned out to be negligence by a local oil change company(will never use them again!). Treated very professionally and got our car repaired in only 3days! I drive further just to go to this dealership even though another DCJ dealer is closer to my house, why? For the the last 3 years of being a customer, GrapevineDCJ goes above and beyond, no games, which is priceless. Kudos GrapevineDCJ sales and service management! I have read some of the negative reviews here and I can confirm, I have had a positive experience when dealing with the service department. I have had my vehicle in for service/repairs 3 times in the last 2 years. Unlike other dealerships, my service advisor Philip Cruson kept me informed about repairs, updated me every day and got my Jeep back early and for less than the estimate was for. Purchased a new Ram in January. The whole process was fairly easy to complete. It's not my truck to buy and won't be the last. Chris Martinez was honest and fair from the jump. There was haggling back and forth but when is there not honestly. Experience was smooth. Only compliant was I advised I would be there at a certain time to pick up the truck and I was promised it'd be ready. It wasn't ready and when you have an active 18 month old it makes it tough time. Searching for a vehicle after a wreck and being injured, being told point blank "you're between a rock and a hard place. " Being told you can't have a rental when work needs to be done on the vehicle you just *literally* bought, and being forced to drive it off the lot even after you've objected. Returning in the rental you've had for over a week to return/ cancel a deal, and bring told you're a liar and you're stuck in the car (even though it isn't a safe vehicle) and better luck next time, go see if you can trade it in. The deception started at the first hint I was interested in buying a vehicle, all the way to the end six days later, when what I agreed upon at the time of purchase was not presented to me in the finance office. They misrepresented their product in an online ad which they changed as soon as I called them on it and then refused even the slightest assistance to rectify the problem when all it would have taken is a few minutes of their time. I did not ask for any discounts or substitutions, just a few minutes of assistance and everything would have been fine, it still would not have been what they advertised, but I would have been satisfied and they would have had a happy customer. Finally, when I tried to contact the upper management team, they were either not there, unavailable, or would not return calls. If this is how they handle the smallest of issues, I would be terrified to see how they handle anything more. So here are the details... They posted an ad online for a set of wheels, tires, and TPMS sensors for my Jeep. I called ahead to make sure they were still available, and they were, before spending an hour in traffic driving across town to pick them up. While in the parts department, another representative from the one I was dealing with asked what year my Jeep was, I responded 2012. He, not the gentleman I was working with, informed me the wheel sensors were not compatible with my Jeep; my rep looked and was confused. After checking around, it turns out the gentleman was right and they were not compatible as advertised. This wasn't a big deal to me. The wheels were identical to the one's already on my Jeep, all I really wanted was the tires and the newer sensors. All it would have taken to resolve the issue is for the dealership to swap my tires for the new ones, that's it. I was still willing to pay full price for everything, was willing to keep my existing sensors, and they only had to do 4 of the 5, my spare had never been used so they didn't have to mess with that one. Again, I would pay full price for the wheels, tires, and sensors, even though all I was going to use is the tires, and all they had to do is put them on, wasn't going to happen. It was after 5:00 but long before they closed and they said they didn't have anyone at the shop to do it...I got it. They said they would have the manager call me in the morning to take care of me and I left it at that and then spent another hour driving back across town. The next morning, I called in after not hearing from them and finally got a call back from the assistant parts manager who informed me they would not do anything to help me and told me that if I didn't want them they would sell them to somebody else...wow! I then proceeded to make 4 calls trying to get in touch with the general manager of the dealership to no avail. There was no name on the voicemail I was continually transferred to and nobody would tell me if he was even in. After giving up on the GM, I asked to speak to a manager, any manager, and was transferred to the sales manager, the parts manager had the day off. He was shocked at my story and said he would have the general sales manager call me as he was in charge of the entire dealership....I have yet to hear back from anyone. So here I am letting you know how they treat their customers so, hopefully, you don't end up with the same experience. This should never have been a big deal. Did they misrepresent the product in their advertising? Yes. Did they have someone answering the phones and working the parts counter who isn't aware of their products? Yes. Is there a total lack of communication and professionalism at the dealership? Yes. Could all have this been wiped away with a little customer service? YES! Did that happen? NO! There are plenty of Jeep dealerships throughout the Metroplex. My advice, don't chose this one. read more

When I called to check availability, they confirmed invited. I told em I will be coming from North Dallas, an hour commute. When I got there car was apparently already sold couple day ago. Salesman tried to hustle to sell other car that I wasn't interested in. Why Avoid them? After the incident, I emailed them to share my experience, their director responded, claiming it was actually while I was on my way, a different narrative from what I was told when I was on lot. I was greeted at the door by the oh so friendly Mark Taylor. I informed Mark that this would be my first car purchase completely on my own and that I was a little nervous about the situation. He was completely understanding and did everything he could to make me feel comfortable with the situation. He walked around the entire lot with me multiple times to make sure I found my dream car. I got there and they added $2080.00 in mandatory dealer adds then at the closing surprised me with another mandatory dealer warranty charge of $1200 dollars. So they were advertising $3,300, a full 10%, below their actual sales price. When I tried to speak with a manager about this I was told he didn't have time to talk to me. Walked out. I have owned several Chrysler 300's. currently have 2. My 2013 Chrysler 300C, after 2 years, started having some issues, with a water pump failing, and alternator failing, steering wheel peeling away, and locks malfunctioning. I have dealt with Chris Martinez, Service Adviser, and Kevin, the Service Manager over the last couple of months. While I was very frustrated initially, not only with the vehicle issues, but the cost to repair, I will say that Chris and Kevin, along with Chrysler, ultimately stepped up and were fair and reasonable with me, and the ultimate cost I paid. I get my service work all done through this dealership, and have had good results over all, although at times they are seem like they have too much business to handle, which I guess is a good thing. "TIME TO GET HIS MONEY." -finance rep My title is the tip of my iceberg of complaints about this dealership. I went in for one specific car they had listed and was never shown it. Instead the sales rep took it upon himself to decide what I wanted in a car - and made some piss poor choices in models at that. He never once took into consideration the details I told him I was looking for in a vehicle. So for wasting my time and insulting me I LET him show me the ins and outs of every single vehicle he brought out to show. When he ran out of vehicles I walked away. He asked why, and I simply stated "Out of all the cars you showed me today- the one vehicle I requested was NOT in the line up." He back tracked trying to save face by stating that the vehicle was no longer available so he wanted to show me his other inventory. (WHY DID HE NOT TELL ME THAT WHEN I ORIGINALLY ASKED??) Infuriated I got in my car and drove away. Still wishing for the vehicle I had my eye on, I decided I would check online to see if the vehicle was still listed.- IT WAS! I used the online chat to inquire if it indeed was still available and on the lot. The online rep confirmed that IT WAS! By now I'm ready to flip my desk over. I pose as my fiance and give them her contact info for a sales rep to contact us. Lloyd Yancy the Pre-Owned Sales Manager contacted her asking her for the info on the vehicle she was interested in because he "lost it." She responded with the specifics. ... Its been 3 days and she has sent 3 follow up emails and has revieved NO CONTACT. No, "Let me double check my inventory for that vehicle and I'll get back to you" response or phone call. All in all the WORST experience and most unprofessional, unsympathetic staff I've run into. P.S.- To elaborate on my title... DO NOT GO HERE !!!! Wow, it is a no wonder that this dealership has very bad reviews. I would NEVER buy or recommend this place. I would rather go to a rinky dink dealership before going here again. I dealt with Adrian (Pre-Owner salesman), Scott Z (finance) and Lloyd (manager) and they didn't make my experience any better. I had our vehicle two months and then was asked to re-contract. I went to the dealership four times over the two months. Two of those times I took off of work just to sit in the lobby with Adrian for two hours then leaving without doing anything. They kept using the wrong SSN for my wife and kept pulling up the wrong info, we even verified that with Chrysler Capital, our finance company after our 2nd re-contract. It took us 2 1/2 months to get our plates (still haven't gotten them) but it took several email requests to Scott to reissue dealer tags b/c ours expired. When we went in to re-contract they tried bumping us up to a higher APR and wanted more money down, this after we traded in our car (gave us $4000) and put $500 extra down. Adrian was nice at first and then kept giving us the run around and at the end he acted very unprofessional b/c we didn't want to give them more money. I asked for my trade back and my cash and was willing to turn in my car then they finally gave us the car at the original contract terms. I even emailed the dealership partner listed on the website about my experience and have yet to recv a response. It is a wonder why they treat their customers this way. Amod is the one who promised this, they waited until after we signed the contract and said sorry no money for your sister and I should pay her that. I have copies of my contract with them. I work for an attorney. Comparing the paperwork I signed with Joshua Zimmerman at Grapevine Dodge to the contract we signed with Holt Dodge major differences. MAJOR. We are taking legal steps against Holt Dodge for failure to comply with verbal contract and breach of contract. I am glad I have things in writing. When they heard I was on the phone with Grapevine Dodge they asked us to leave. While the floor supervisor who has briefly been with Holt Dodge, was speaking with my sister and I, two other customers butted into the conversation and spoke to him that they were also promised money to a co-signer by Amod. This is when the floor manager got very angry and we saw Amod sneak out the back door of the dealership. The other two customers walked out with us to make sure we safely got to our own vehicles. Scary situation, if this is what represents Chrysler Dodge, BIG mistake. My salesperson Brent Ross was in awe as to what was said to me and he never once promised us anything and every time we had a money question he brought back Amod to answer any questions we had. I also test drove a Jeep Renegade, the paperwork states a Jeep Patriot. I did not want a Jeep Patriot because that vehicle is being phased out. Unbelievable, that this is what you have as representation of your company, unbelievable. When I called to ask for the GM I was told he doesn't take phone calls but I can email him. The woman who answers the phone when I was there told me she was the dealerships customer service representative and said she could help. Standing in front of her desk with her present, it was myself, my sister, and Amod and your floor manager, and I talked to Amod and said so the deal is you first offered $2,000 dollars to my sister now you are going down to $1,000 right? He answered "right that is the best that I can do". Amod then said "You know I have bent over backwards for you and if you want to argue with me the deal is off" I said really? He said yes, then he changed his mind and said let's get this deal done and be done with it and walked away. 10 minutes later we signed the paperwork and where told what I stated in the above paragraphs. Never in my 51 years of age have I ever been mistreated by a dealership. NEVER! We are notifying every agency on our list sending the paperwork and documentation of the what transpired from both dealerships. Holt is trash and Grapevine Dodge is one in a million and I mean one in a million. I even received a letter from the GM in reference to my experience and thanking me for giving them a chance. If you don't take action against them, well you do what you need to do but what I have wrote here will be going in the complaint file and if I do not hear back from Chrysler it is not going to be good.
