I came to the area for Daiso and happened to walk by on my commute home. I ordered a cheese slice then asked if they had veggie slices (didn't see any). The cashier warmly told me that they would make it for me, THEN the owner came by as I was waiting and gave me a complimentary focaccia. I'm telling you, it was even MORE delicious than their delicious slices. The dough was crispy with body and the sauce, perfect with a nice hint of garlic. The veggie slice I got was made with tomatoes, red onions, broccoli, and the most perfectly baked eggplant slices (breaded). The pictures really don't do it justice. The staff was just incredibly kind to everyone who walked in and the place was so clean and well-taken cared of. I recommend this 1000X over--taking my bf next weekend! The first was online, and that truly sucked- the delivery service forgot the pizza, dropped the wings outside (found them the next day) and didn't come back Of course we were HUNGRY aand trying not to be HANGRY but the good folks at Gravesend Pizza came through and brought us fooooood! We've had their regular pie 3x and the buffalo wings twice. The pizza is spot on for a cheese pie and the wings are big and just spicy enough (Actually not quite spicy enough for me, but perfect for my partner) Give them a try! I got the margarita pizza and it was just ok. To much bread for me, and I usually eat the crust on a slice of pizza. This one I couldn't because it was to much bread. There really wasn't a flavor to the margarita either. I had a margarita at a pizza place at industry city and I could actually taste the flavors of the pizza. Also, I'm not pulling the race card, but I am a black woman and she charged me $4.19 for my slice, but a white guy behind me ordered the same single slice margarita as me, but he was charged $3. So if you ever go and check of their pizza, just be mindful of how they do their pricing. But other than that, I had better pizza from other places. read more

Pizza is great, delivery not so great. Have ordered from them 3x and each time food has taken nearly an hour (I live less than 10 blocks away). So while the pizza is really great, the service has always been disappointing. Ordering online and there is not a great way to check the status. It's really a bummer because we love the pizza, but poor delivery service is very frustrating. read more

I stop in this corner pizza joint at least once a week for slices. Might be the best pizza I've had in Brooklyn. Crispy crust, fresh, and plenty of toppings. I've also tried their chicken parm which was outstanding as well. The staff are always friendly and prompt with service. read more

Overall not worth it. Pizza sauce was too salty, dough was extra bleached flour that lacked flavor, and the cheese tasted cheap. The prices are high, especially considering the neighborhood. Right across from the Green-Wood Cemetery, and the pizza's to die for! But seriously, four of us wandered in on a hot day, looking for cold drinks and a place to sit down. Smelled amazing in there! We ended up trying slices of the focaccia pizza, which was perfection. The crust was tender and not at all greasy, and the tomato sauce was so fresh. And the staff could not have been nicer or more welcoming. The neighborhood regulars are lucky stiffs. read more

Ordered 1 pepperoni slice, made to wait over ten minutes for it. When I asked what's taking so long what they did is take a cheese slice, placed raw pepperoni on it, didn't even put back in the oven to let that cook and bagged so I didn't fully realize it until I got home. You don't get that lousy a product from Costco down the road. read more

This place has been open for about a year. More than long enough to get its act straight. The pizza is inconsistent. Sometimes good, sometimes very mediocre at best. Live close by, and I have been getting a couple of whole pies from them a month since they opened. After this last visit, I am done with this place. I ordered a large pie with pepperoni, they charged me for a large pie with pepperoni, and then they gave me one without pepperoni. Since I live close by, I brought it back; they took the pie and proceeded to put pepperoni on it rather than make a new one the right way. For $30 bucks, I expect them to at least humor me and pretend like they care about customer service but apparently, they do not want my business. At least three times, I told them to keep the pie and give me back my money, and they refused. They offered me a bunch of "free stuff" - basically food that has been held at room temperature for too long that they would need to be chucking in the trash at the end of the night anyway. I will contact American Express and charge back the transaction; that may or may not work, but I will never waste another dime in that place. Of course, the few bucks I threw in the tip jar when I first picked up my order are gone forever. read more
