Never been to Gravity Coffee before so I stopped by to avoid traffic and get some caffeine before my hair appointment. It's located near the LA Fitness and easy to get to. The two girls who helped me were extremely nice. I let them know it was my first time trying their coffee and they were helpful in making suggestions. I ended up getting "The Force", which is a white coffee americano with white chocolate and topped with chocolate milk. I asked for half the sweetness since I don't like my drinks too sweet. It was good, but tasted slightly plain and watered down. I think the full sweetness is needed. I got my friend a "Sunburst Mimosa", a black tea with fruit strawberry and I think mango syrup and topped with OJ. She said it was refreshing and enjoyed it. This location is a little bit of a ways from me, but I'd come back if I was in the area to try the other drinks. read more

Really excited to see Gravity open up in the drive-up area of the old bank here at Federal Way Commons! This is right out in front of my gym, which makes it incredibly convenient to stop by. They have some great promotional offers as well, which I always appreciate. The layout of the drive-up coffee stand is very inviting and easy to access. The coffee is great - they use Dillano's out of Sumner as their roaster - and the chai tea is fantastic! Each of the baristas I have met so far are always incredibly friendly and have some great recommendations (they may have just a tad too much energy for this time of the morning, but that's never a bad thing!) I wish Gravity Coffee had the same massive presence as Starbucks. I'm sure my husband would disagree because we'd go broke because I love this place. I don't normally drink tea but wasn't feeling well and ordered tea and someone recommended a "London fog" which adds cream and vanilla flavor. It hit the spot. Today I came in for coffee and spent around 20 minutes in line with about 4 cars in front of me. I'm sorry that's just too long. That's been a consistent problem. Also employees really shouldn't park their cars on the side of the kiosk that makes things super crowded and hard for larger work cars to go around without hitting the curbs. read more

Great place! Kinda reminds me of Dutch Bros. The staff was super friendly and helpful in helping us choose our drinks since it was our first time there. My husband got himself a passion tea and I got myself a blueberry (and some other flavor but can't remember at the moment)fuze, and both drinks were delicious and refreshing I'll take their passion teas over Star Bucks any day. I love this location. The girls are always happy and ready to take our order. I don't drink coffee, my drink of choice is a steamer and I'm pretty picky when it come to my syrup selection and the amount being used. The lovely lady's at this stand always know just how to make it. My husband's a coffee drinker and won't go anywhere else for his coffee. If I could give 6 stars I would. I'm a regular at Gravity coffee and I always ask the baristas to make me something from the menu or make their own concoction and blow my mind, and wow do they do every time. I ask this so frequently, one time I pulled up with no one behind me with my windows up in the middle of a call. After about three minutes the call ended I rolled down my window, the barista named Kat with her bright and vibrant smile said "6.95". I was like "huh" and she told me she already made me my drink. I was so baffled and gave her a $5 tip. She and so many others just have the best attitude all the time and really give the impression they love doing their jobs. Also, I must confess the baristas are beautiful and give good conversation when it's not very busy. Also, they recently are doing this thing where if you put in $1 you get $2 in a gift card. I put in $250 so now I have $500. I love you gravity coffee. read more

Cool concept, menu looked good. Ordered the Snickers blended coffee and Reese's blended creme, they can specialize with type of milk you need. We have a dairy sensitivity however we were not asked if we wanted whip cream. We don't splurge very often so we wanted the whip, the barista didn't seem to happy about that. Also she was rushed. Our drinks didn't turn out to be like the ones pictured in the menu. Flavor quality ok, customer service ok. I see no reason to return. read more

So no one else thinks this coffee place sucks yet but me, huh? This place is all hype. There were 2 cars in front of me on the weekend and it took 20 minutes to get my coffee. That's a long wait for drive thru espresso when they have 3 people working. When I got my coffee it was super bland. It didn't even taste like coffee. I paid Starbucks prices for bland water. My 2 friends drinks were just as bad so it's not a fluke. The people working there were nice. That's about all I can say for this place. Had to give their coffee a shot but I won't give them another chance when there are tons of other places that know how to make coffee in the area. Poverty Bay for life! read more

If you roll up and see a long line, do not be intimidated, wait it out! It's so worth it, and the lines move quick (they have two windows.) Sometimes there will be a barista who runs outside to collect orders, so the drinks will be ready by the time you get to the window. They have a variety of drinks whether you like coffee or not, a variety of milk alternatives, and also have white coffee. My usual here is an iced caramel latte, and it's consistently perfect! Their mango smoothie and Red Bull mimosa (Red Bull Italian Sodas) are also delicious. They offer a rewards system and every 10th drink is free, and will also spoil your fur baby with a dog treat. read more

4/5 - Commendable! This here's coffeetown, with a firmly-established local place and an excellent newer start-up, both within 10 minutes driving distance. But if Gravity continues to distinguish themselves by warm customer service and fast delivery of good coffee from quick-to-access locations, I think we'll be seeing more of them around these parts. Went there with my wife to get the free 16oz drink they are offering. Lots of enthusiasm and engagement at the front and at the bar, and coffee was made quickly and correctly. She isn't much of a sweet drink person, but ended up appropriating a significant amount of my 3rd Dimension (but she also enjoyed her iced latte). We've definitely been interested in them, as we hadn't heard of them before their arrival in The Crossings, and there's now a new one opening up just a bit north. I hope they find a good home, here! read more

Lovely girls I've encountered here! Except one. One had basically everything closed at 9:20pm although they close at 10. So she basically said she hopes we are getting (idk what she said) because she shut down and cleaned all the stuff. Luckily for her, I just wanted an americano. All the other times I went in the AM and girls were so nice and bright eyed and I saw online that they're opening a spot in Burien and I hope it's SOON because the only reason I kind of wanted to stay in federal Way was this place. It's amazing this place use to be my favorite but now they are constantly getting our drinks made incorrectly after going there many times and having the same drinks made good. Some of the staff need to work harder at having better customer service. They should be asking people if they have a rewards card with gravity so repeat customers can get credit for the many drinks they buy and staff should always thank their customer's. read more
