On a beautiful Saturday the Lynnwood locations car wash was unfortunately closed. Against our better judgement we went to the dreaded Alderwood location to clean our son's car. The car wash started and immediately the middle of the windshield cracked and then spidered into the entire windshield. We reported the incident immediately and took several photos. There was no manager on duty on a Saturday? We then contacted him first thing Monday morning. He insisted we drive the car back where he told us the crack was in the inside...hmm. I guess not only is he a weekday manager but also a glass expert. We have tried several times to get anyone (else) to return our calls to no avail and there is apparently no other manager to talk to at anytime onsite. Our insurance has told us they will not cover it as it is considered third party damage. Not to mention at time of purchase on the inspection of the vehicle no windshield damage was found. So my (Autistic) 16 year old is left with a car that is illegal to drive. Thanks Levine family, we will never use your company again. We will now determine if this is worth pursuing in small claims court.

Pulling in was without obstruction as was operating the kiosk at the pumping stall I used. The colors on the station were vibrant, something that really made an impact up-close. For the payment/selecting a fuel grade part of the process, a car wash option was presented early on. While I selected no, I did notice a sign by the road when my car was fueling up that communicated gas price(s) were 10 cents cheaper with a car wash option. The receipt printed at the stall once I was done fueling. The only hiccup I encountered was with the handless feature of the nozzle I used, I tried to prop the handle up and the clip-like feature kept sliding out.

Save yourself the stress. Avoid at all costs. They did a terrible job on my car and when I called them out on that they became very rude and argumentative and blamed everything on the fact that they installed a used part (a brand new part was never offered to us) The owner and employees are very sketchy (now I understand why they prefer to get paid in cash.) Every single time that you call or walk in asking for Mohammad (shop owner) he's unavailable. During my last visit and while trying to get my car fixed after the poor job they did I was so frustrated that I openly expressed my dissatisfaction in front of other customers, the front desk employee got upset because of this and refused to take the keys and told me to take my car home and expect a call from Mohammad the shop owner. Mohammad in fact called me but just to yell at me demanding an apology and threatening me. Just go somewhere else or you will regret it.

Emily's Garage is one of the Seattle city-approved vehicle safety inspection mechanics.  They offer…read moreASE-certified TNC inspections, pre-buyer inspections, diagnostic services, and general car inspections.  They have three locations - Everett, Tacoma, and Burien. For the vehicle safety inspection, I didn't have to make an appointment.  It was fine to do a walk-in. When I visited Emily's Garage, there was a customer who was pretty upset with the repairs and the cost.  I was able to hear what the customer had to go through but I would not comment on that as I have limited information. From my experience of getting my vehicle inspected, I was very surprised at how quickly they were able to complete the vehicle inspection.  It was done in less than 2 minutes, and I paid over $50 for that service.   For comparison, when I had my vehicle inspected at Les Schwab Tire Centers in Portland, they spent over 20 minutes to thoroughly inspect the vehicle and the cost for the inspection was only $20.   Will I re-visit Emily's Garage for the vehicle inspection?  Probably not but if the state requires me to get the vehicle inspection done, I will probably have no choice as there are not that many shops that offer the ASE-certified inspection.

I called ahead to ask if they could press a wheel bearing if I brought in just the hub, and the woman on the phone (Mel, Stef, something like that) told me yes, no problem, and that it could be done by the end of the next day. I made it clear it was urgent. I drop it off and suddenly she's not sure if they can do it, because she doesn't know enough about the process and people who know weren't there since it was late? I don't hear back the next day, so I call them around 4PM, only to find out they hadn't even touched it yet. Then she hits me with a $250 quote to press in a bearing on a loose hub. I'm a former master-certified mechanic with 8 years in dealership service. That job is a $40-50 job max. There's no excuse for that number except price-gouging someone who doesn't know better. I immediately picked it up and took it to B-Line Automotive, two minutes away. They did the job same day, on time, and charged me THIRTY DOLLARS. No stress, no confusion. The woman at Firestone seemed totally overwhelmed every time I spoke with her. This location clearly lacks competent staffing. Either you have a press or you don't--there's no mystery here. I tried putting air in it and I could hear the air coming out somewhere so I ended up taking it to Firestone And they showed me my tire had a huge tear in the side on the seal bead because the Les Schwab tech stretched it or tore it and didn't make mention of it. The tech at Firestone is awesome for finding that and I wanna make mention Mike at the front counter Was very knowledgeable. Helpful in getting the job done correctly. He had a good sense of humor and was funny and I highly recommend Firestone for your mechanic work.
