Saw the 5.0 rating and that it was new so we decided last minute to give this place a tray. Here is the good: 1) nice modern ambiance with a sushi bar on one side and a Mongolian BBQ grill on the other. 2) staff was very attentive (shout out to Lucy) for being sweet and checking in on us regularly. 3) like the other reviews, restaurant is clean. Here are the not so good: 1) the restaurant was warm. Almost warm enough to walk out of. Also it made me a little nervous on serving raw sushi in a warm restaurant (I'll let you know if I pay the price later). 2) portions are just too big. It's AYCE so I always go for variety than quantity. With full size rolls, I was only able to eat 3 (one special and 2 regular maki rolls): 3) Flavors of the sushi and Mongolian BBQ were a little overwhelming. With a rise of AYCE competitors, I hope Great Bowl considers upping their game!

Best Mongolian in town! I went for the Mongolian but stayed for the AYCE sushi. I pass this place everyday and decided to go one day for lunch. You can choose the Hibachi bar for $15.95 or you can have that plus AYCE sushi for $18.95. The bar had a variety of different items. Every was so fresh. I ate one bowl and 2 rolls of sushi. I was stuffed. I will definitely be visiting again and again!

The food was so fresh and the staff beyond nice. I came with my kids and they were treated so well. Nice atmosphere.

$18.95 - Mongolian BBQ and Sushi. Lunch can only get the White-Highlights Items. Dinner can get all of the Items

This cost me $18.95 pre-tax, then $21.22 pre-tip to $27.00 post-tip (with Receipt) This Restaurant is good Think of Great Bowl as a fusion of Sakura Sushi and Top Mongolian in terms of food variety if you choose to get the BBQ and Sushi options together, or even separately if you just want one option or the other The price is really cheap compared to other AYCE that features Sushi (Rolls) and Mongolian BBQ The food is also delicious, fresh, and comes out pretty hot; although there is no Shao Bing (the Bread) if you like those The staff members are all nice and attentive, they will help you with questions that you could have

Best AYCE sushi in the area! Pleasantly surprised! The Mongolian was excellent, also. New and clean.

Best Mongolian in town. They use real meats not the normal junk many other places use. Prices are good. Excellent new restaurant

From the moment we arrived, the hostess, Milk, was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. She made us feel valued from the start, and throughout the evening she continued to provide excellent service to every table she assisted. She truly deserves recognition and a promotion. Unfortunately, our assigned server provided one of the worst dining experiences I've had. After taking our food and drink order, she returned only with our drinks and then disappeared for 15-20 minutes without checking on us. My friend's daughter's entrée arrived before our appetizers, and our appetizer--fried hard chicken wings--didn't arrive until about 20 minutes later. When we asked about the delay, the server said it was because we requested the wings to be fried hard. She then made a comment about "Black people in the kitchen cooking." Whether she intended it as a joke or not, the comment was unprofessional and made us uncomfortable. Because of the poor service and attitude, we asked if another server could assist us. While Milk continued to be wonderful, another employee with purple-blue hair was also very rude when we asked for assistance. Her attitude was dismissive and unpleasant. Later in the evening, around 11 p.m., I asked a staff member near the kitchen if they had lids for our seafood buckets. She responded "No" with an attitude. I then asked if they had to-go cups, and she said they did but claimed she was off duty. Less than 30 seconds later, she went behind the bar and began making and serving drinks, which made her response even more confusing. Shortly afterward, she began arguing with my friend at our table for no apparent reason. At that point, we asked Milk to get the manager. The manager came over, sat down with us, listened to our concerns, and apologized. He explained that he was actually off that day but had come in to help support the restaurant. We appreciated that he took the time to hear us out and said he would address the issues with his staff. The food itself was good, but good food cannot make up for poor customer service and disrespectful attitudes. We wanted this to be a memorable celebration for my friend's daughter, not an evening spent dealing with rude employees. Customer service is just as important as the food. Sadly, because of the experience we had, we will not be returning. I hope management invests in better customer service training because employees like Milk show what great hospitality should look like, while others left a very negative impression.

He was incredibly personable and made me feel right at home, which really set the tone for such a great experience. The service was friendly and attentive throughout my visit. Now let's talk about the FOOD! I ordered the Oxtail Kare Kare, and WOW. The oxtail literally fell right off the bone -- so tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The vegetables were fresh and paired beautifully with the dish. And one of my favorite touches was that the chef makes her own homemade bagoong, which paired SO well with the Kare Kare. That extra touch really brought all the flavors together! But my absolute favorite was the Atlantic Park Sunrise! I haven't had calamansi in such a long time, and it paired surprisingly well with the Prosecco. Such a refreshing and delicious combination! Overall, I'm so happy I stopped by the new Oceanfront location. Amazing food, a welcoming atmosphere, and genuinely friendly service. Xavier's hospitality made my first experience at the new location especially warm and memorable. I'll definitely be back!
