There actually should be a 1 star, however, the haircut does look good. Brittany was my hairdresser. I've been using Great Clips for quite a few years now, and I love the app feature where I can check in and get my place online and finish shopping. Today that was at Whole Foods for a snack. I had to wait 10 minutes, even though I checked them online. Someone had walked away and they took him off the list. He came back in, and they inserted him in front of me. I'm kind of used to a more social hairdresser. I got none of the normal: How are you, how was your day type conversation from Brittany. The check-in system has recorded what type of haircut I usually have. She verified that I wanted the same thing, and then went to work. She said not one word to me the whole time she cut my hair. Now, she was fast and efficient. And I guess that's more important than whether she is social. It was just kind of strange to not have her talk at all. In her rush to get my haircut done (they were closing ) She was zipping the clippers on my head like it was an airport landing strip. You can imagine when the tires hit the pavement, there's a little screech and some smoke coming up. It really felt like she was bumping my head every time she went in for a pass. When she was doing the sides, she was digging in the teeth of the clippers. I actually felt a little bruised afterwards. It's OK if once in a while, you get your head bumped, but I stopped counting at 20 times. No idea why she was not social and really rough with me. I'm a big boy. I can take it. But this is the first time in all my years of having haircuts that I felt this. Probably, I will just go to one of the other great clips next time as I don't wanna take a chance on getting Brittany. read more

Do not have Rebecca cut your hair if you would like to keep it. I went in to get an inch trim, all the way around, the same length. I have had the same very easy haircut for years. It literally takes two minutes. It is so easy, I've had my friends cut it during Covid. (And I was happier with their haircuts than this so-called trained professional's, Rebecca.) Rebecca is not able to do the most simple tasks. I asked her to cut 1 inch. The majority of it was fine; however, in the front on one side, she decided to cut it 4 inches higher. So I had to return to cut off another 3 inches cut off all around to correct her mistake. If you value your hair, do not to go to Rebecca. When I returned to get it corrected, she couldn't even look at me. She didn't even apologize. They were only two stylists in the salon, so she knew I was there. She knew what she had done. I took my 94 year old dementia client here for a wash and blow dry. 30 bucks! Are you freakin kidding me!?! The lady was nice enough but to charge 30 bucks for a little lady with basically very little hair, it is short and very fine, is ridiculous!!!!! When my boys and I walked in, the 2 ladies were extremely rude and made unnecessary comments towards my children and myself . It was not welcoming at all and not an enjoyable experience for my children. While I was waiting for one of my boys to be done, a disabled child in a wheelchair and father came in , at first they seemed friendly towards the family but when one of the ladies that started on his hair the disabled child started seemingly not wanting a hair cut , the hair dresser stated I can move your hands if I need too and made faces of irritability. My original barber moved away and I am not mobile so I decided to give great clips a try after 7 years of having my own $40+ haircut lady was nice and did a decent job was it perfect no however 20+5 dollar tip I don't expect them to take an hour on me like higher end barbers do it's nothing that I can't fix at home,I got a bald fade undercut between my #1 and my long hair there are a couple of missed 11/2 to 2 inch hairs I will fix at home overall u get what u pay for and I am not disappointed read more

My husband, granddaughter and I all went to Great Clips for haircuts today and I drew the short straw apparently. My stylist was unpleasant and didn't listen to my wishes at all. He seemed annoyed the entire time he was cutting my hair, which made me very uncomfortable. He didn't even offer to show me the back when he was done. I walked out feeling horrible with uneven sides. About 6 months ago, I met Rachel at Great Clips when she cut my hair for the first time. I've never had a stylist care so much about my hairstyle and try to help so much. She had ideas that I've never considered, and I have the best looking hair I've ever had thanks to her. She does all the little things to give the cleanest look.
