Our Michigan friends have brought us to explore Glen Arbor and on our way back, we desperately…read moreneeded food. We decided to try this place and were surprisingly blown away! Being a burger joint, we obviously ordered everything but the burgers lol. We had a long trip ahead and didn't wanna feel too greasy but looking over at other tables later, the burgers looked delicious. I got the peach salad that came with curried pumpkin seeds and shredded asiago and croutons. I added grilled chicken for $4. I wished there were some fresh peaches on it but the salad was tossed in a peach dressing instead. The croutons also tasted like fried pieces of sandwich bread. I will say, I was so pleasantly surprised by how delicious this salad was! Holy cow, after a few days of camping, having vegetables was one thing, having this salad changed my outlook on life. My fiancé was a little saddened by the fact that we will be no where near this place (from Connecticut) becuase he thoroughly enjoyed his brisket wrap. Maybe it's the Mid Western charm and hospitality, but our experience was so great. After getting the bill, our waiter (who had two colored socks on and my friend thought he only had one, but alas, one sock was just black while the other was a hot pink) offered us our drinks to go and brought us back a full cup of iced tea and Dr Pepper. Our table of four left with a $70 bill which was fantastic, given that the food also satiated us to the best degree. All the way from CT, I wanna say: thank you Michigan. And thank you to the Gnarly Heifer, even though we did not taste your Heif.

We've tried nearly everything on the menu (some we've tried twice) and have never been disappointed. The food is amazing and the drinks always hit. The orange mimosa is literally the best I've ever had. My 7yo and 9yo also enjoy this place to the point that it's the only place we eat out where they actually will clear their plates (and they order a ton of food here). My son always orders the chocolate chip pancake with a side of bacon and a side of sourdough toast. He finishes all of that then tries stealing the rest of our family members sides of toast. He quite literally asked me recently to make toast for breakfast for him, but he wanted it like brunch house makes it. Oh! We planned to go here last weekend and messed with my 7yo the morning of and told him we couldn't go because the brunch house called and said that my 7yo ate too much of their toast last time we were there, so they wouldn't accept our 7yo as a customer any longer. My 7yo literally "ugly cried" and I had to tell him we were joking and felt terrible. Overall, the weekdays are less busy than the weekends, but if you join the waitlist about 10-15 mins from arrival on the weekends, ur table is usually ready by time you arrive. We like to go right at 7-7:30am when they first open because it's usually only us and a few other customers in the restaurant, so we beat the rush.
