The atmosphere was relaxed, the staff was super friendly, and it just had such a nice Brentwood neighborhood feel. Came 15 minutes early from our reservation time on Mother's Day and we were seated right away (0 minute wait literally) even though the restaurant was packed! The restaurant was beautiful and very nice for a casual dinner with indoor and outdoor areas. All staffs were very nice. Our waitress came right away explaining the menu and gave us water. Great experience at Great White Brentwood. The space is relaxed but polished, and the menu feels very intentional. The bolognese was a standout, rich but balanced, and the chicken kebab was very well executed. The ceviche was fresh and bright, and the sourdough bread pudding was a great finish. The wine list leans natural and approachable, with a strong by the glass program that is well priced and easy to navigate. This place is on my list of favs! We went for breakfast we didn't wait long to be seated outside service was great and the ambiance was relaxed and not too loud - music was just right. We tried much of the menu, smoothie bowl and banana bread delicious. Breakfast burrito was so flavorful and the salsa/ sauce - even more flavor! The pancakes were just perfect light and fluffy with just enough sweetness with the pecans and berries. And the breakfast sandwich was solid and savory! Was told the restaurant actually owns the parking lot so my guess is they are making all their money on charging $36 for parking, which is ridiculous. Street parking is non-existant. I have always loved Great White and this is my first time at their Brentwood location. Everything went great! The host, Gerard, was really kind and was able to seat us right away. Our server, Charlie, was really friendly and checked in on us a lot. The food here is always great. The breakfast burrito and shrimp pasta were standouts for me. The drinks are just okay, a little expensive for what it is, but worth trying once. Cute ambiance in the restaurant and has a few outdoor seating. Inside can be a little bit crowded and noisy, but still a good experience. Lots of street parking around too! read more

I did not realize that the bacon was going to be Canadian Bacon, which I am usually not crazy about but this bacon was amazing. The banana bread was the perfect consistency and perfect blend of salty sweet. The burrito was tasty and had salsa that paired with it perfectly. Everything included in the breakie was delicious, from the tomatoes to the eggs and goat cheese, they all went together perfectly. We also really enjoyed our margaritas and shaken iced lattes. The only downsides are that they don't take brunch reservations and so we were told the wait would be 35 minutes around noon on a Saturday and it ended up being closer to an hour. Additionally, parking can be a challenge in that area - although there is a lot next door to the restaurant, but it's pricey. read more

I've been to all but one Great White location in LA and enjoy them all. This one is pleasantly located off of the main drive of San Vicente but still has the charm and ease of Brentwood overall. We sat outside on a Sunday, just about peak brunch time, and had a very, very short wait (as in 5 minutes). Was bustling but not too busy. I'll say the food was good as usual, but service definitely lacking. Our waiter had to cover all of outside, any takeout orders, and was helping on a few tables inside. Made for slow check-in and ultimately, us sitting there longer waiting to pay and likely backing up the waiting parties. Overall, would recommend, but it's definitely not a quick bite. read more

While I've enjoyed this restaurant at its other locations, the Great White in Brentwood has a few things to work on. The food at Great White is always great and we were excited to eat after a hard workout class after brunch. My friend and I ordered the Great white Brekkie and the breakfast burrito. Both had great portions and were flavorful. So I had to give the restaurant 3 stars due to the service. The restaurant seemed to be overwhelmed by the foot traffic which seemed to be since there were two people trying to man the front and the restaurant. My friend and I waited in line for a bit and registered for two people for a table. We were told to wait on the side. They continued to sit other people who were before us and we realized they forgot about us. The server who first greeted us then asked us why we were standing on the side and once we reminded him that we asked for a table for two and he told us to wait on the side, they tried to find us a table. No big deal, I don't mind waiting but the restaurant seemed disorganized on the check in process. Secondly, they forgot food items from my plate. Due to me having been to other locations, I knew what was supposed to be on the Great White Brekkie. Once I realized, I flagged down our server who was able to correct the issue and bring out what I ordered. Great restaurant. Love this location actually West Hollywood is also a vibe. I love the dinning area with the wood roof allowing a cool natural breeze come through while you dine. I didn't have a reservation, but our wait time was 30minutes in a Sunday afternoon (1ish time) . Decided Yogas a drink at the bar too while I wait for my table. We were seated within the 30-35 minute period. The food was amazing, the market salad was delicious. The shrimp salad was savory and the noddles were thick. The Daviola pizza was also amazing. I had a second drink while I dined. Overall great service, very busy but the team is fast efficient and friendly. I'll definitely visit this location. read more

Great White is such a cute spot in the heart of Brentwood! Whether you're visiting friends for a brunch reunion or it's date night, you can't go wrong with the menu. My friend and I ordered to share the mixed greens salad with grilled chicken as an add on, and the salad's vinaigrette was citrusy and really complemented the greens and chicken. We also shared a margherita pizza and fries, both of which were deliscious. The fries were perfectly seasoned and really crispy, and the pizza dough tasted freshly made. Our server was so sweet and made sure our food was brought to us quickly; she suggested the sourdough bread pudding for dessert, her favorite. It was amazing! While the location is super cute, it was a bit crowded. However, the indoor/outdoor setup makes the location really spacious and easy to make conversation. I'd recommend showing up a bit earlier to find street parking! read more

I've only eaten at the Brentwood location twice, so your mileage may vary. Breakfast was amazing. I had their Brekkie breakfast which was perfect. The eggs were amazing. The tomatoes on my plate were peak of ripeness and perfect. I'd eat that any day, every day. Cannot say enough good about it. Definitely would come back for that. Five stars. The second visit was for dinner. I had the crispy chicken sandwich. It was a soggy mess. The chicken was overcooked which means tough and dry. I had to abandon the soggy bun within a couple minutes and use a fork and knife to eat the chicken. The wine...let's just say I hope my glass was the end of the bottle. I'm not a wine person but even I could tell it was past time for serving. Service here is very good, as is the ambience. So my recommendation is that Great White is a great breakfast spot, but better alternatives can be found for other meals. That is just my experience on two visits. Definitely not necessarily indicative of all the meals the hardworking staff prepares and serves each day. 5 stars for breakfast. 3 stars for dinner. Average is 4 stars for only 2 visits. read more

Wow what a nightmare. I have been to both locations in Weho and larchmont. Never had an issue with my little 5 pound Pom named chu chu. The host was so rude and the server was even worse when we had to be greeted by her.
