First of all, they don't have price on their menu, guess they want people to order and surprise them with the over priced awful food. Literally the worst Thai food we ever had. Have you ever had Pad Thai that is extremely salty and sweet at the same time? Why is there so much sugar? We didn't have other food in the house so we had to "wash" it in the hot water in order to eat them. $18 dollar for six piece of beef in the beef salad. The wedge was supposed to be iceberg lettuce and yet they are so cheap to use cabbage! Can u imagine how hard to chew for a wedge of cabbage? $12 for four pieces of sad little chicken on stick. This is the best Thai place I've had in the Puget Sound area! After visiting Thailand multiple times, I can assure that the food served here is as close to authentic as it can be (gotta consider produce and herb difference between Thailand and US.) Happened to stumble across this awesome Thai restaurant with one of my friends who works nearby, so lucky! Loved their pad thai and crispy garlic chicken, both were super flavorful and just the right amount of spiciness. Portion size gave us enough to have leftovers! There are so many more items I'd like to try on the menu and I saw that there were weekday lunch combos for a great price. Food came out quickly and waitress was friendly and kept her distance other than when we needed her. We came here on a weekday around 1 and there were two other single diners besides us. Vaccination cards checked at the door and despite the smaller space, we felt very safe apart from the other diners. I had high hopes and expectations due to the name of the restaurant and all of the good reviews I saw but I regretted coming here the moment our first dish finally arrived to the table. Let me just describe this dish so you can imagine the overall experience... The menu said this soup noodle comes with bok choy, cilantro, bean sprouts and green onions. Unfortunately, in actuality, it came with chopped up romaine lettuce and green onions with a very small, unnoticeable amount of cilantro. Maybe they thought I wouldn't know the difference between bok choy and romaine lettuce.... Normally I would've been less critical since I know restaurants run out of ingredients and they have to sub out a vegetable but the soup had a bland lettuce water taste. They also didn't have any pickled veggies or hot sauce or salt & pepper at the table to try to rescue this dish. Sadly, the other dishes were not good either and worst of all, by the time our 4th dish came to the table, the rest of us were almost done eating. They seemed quite busy with take out customers, maybe dine-in service seemed to have suffered. But the biggest annoyance to me was that the menu didn't have any pricing! We had no idea how much any of the dishes were, except for the "specials" taped around the walls. Who has a menu without the prices (unless you're a pay-what-you-can kind of place)? I thought that was weird but what REALLY annoyed me was that my dish had "with fried egg" noted in the name and yet, they up-charged me for the egg. The receipt didn't have any dish names noted and the server seemed to have arbitrarily typed in prices... No, it's not a large $ for the egg but it's the principle of it. I'd gladly pay extra if it was my choice to add on to my dish but I felt tricked and overcharged which made the experience of having spent $80 on 4 mediocre dishes even worse. read more

BEWARE!!!! My company decided to throw me a surprise baby shower before my maternity leave starts. They know how much I love Thai food and decided to have Thai food catered to the event. We ordered from this restaurant through EZCater and the food arrived on time. Everything tasted good. Unfortunately, that quickly ended after I found what looked to be a large maggot or some type of grub cooked in with my Pad Thai.... At first we were skeptical because we weren't sure how it could have gotten there. These type of bugs don't just hang around restaurants like some of the more common cockroaches, flies, etc... This is the third best spot for Thai food in Kent. The first best place is the Thai spot on 104th. The second is probably grandma Thai but they're a little shady with their portions so this spot hands a good portion with great taste. I would rate this place second but I literally saw the cook lady go into the restroom with her gloves and then came out of the restroom with the same gloves drying them on her pants. It's nearby Showare, Kent Station, Justice Center just off Central Ave. Downtown Kent has a gem they're unaware of! This makes me so sad to write but I feel I have to. My mom is Thai so I'm picky about my Thai food. I just stopped by for lunch today and was excited to see Tom Yum Noodle Soup with a choice of either rice or egg noodles as an option. I felt like egg and thought it would be great since every other restaurant only offers rice noodles and the egg noodles would be kind of like Mama which is a Thai ramen brand. Anyhow, arrived just before noon and was one of three tables. It took a while for the older lady to take the order but she apologized for the delay and I completely understand being busy when you're the only one working. Placed my order for the Tom Yum Noodles with egg noodles and chicken, 2 stars. Food came out fairly quickly. There was a hair stuck to the side of the bowl which I was willing to over look since it was the side. And this is where it goes downhill. The noodles were rice noodles. The broth was clear except some dried chili flakes on it and it had basil, none of that is normal for Tom Yum broth. The cook (who arrived right after I placed my order) who dropped off the food also dropped off a spice tray. As I was busy picking out all the basil leaves (just a couple mins) she came back and without saying anything took the spice tray and gave it to the table next me me. Considering I hadn't even tried it yet, I didn't yet get a chance to figure out which spice I would like to add. Honestly, the broth was bland and I found a couple pickled jalapenos which told me they used the pickled jalapeno juice to add some tang but, again, it was not Tom Yum broth. The broth was spicy but that was it. Also, the soup only had 5 baby bok choy leaves. They're apparently so cheap you don't even get a single full baby bok choy. The soup was so disappointing I ended up not finishing it, paid and left. They seem like nice people but for me it's not worth another shot if they are going to advertise Tom Yum Noodle soup and not serve the right broth. read more

Damn this corny named thai restaurant is TASTY! Came here hoping to catch their happy hour prices and ventured off to the more ghetto area of Kent, WA. When we arrived, we were greeted and served with haste. The inside of the restaurant seemed a little unclean, sticky tables and a few remnants of dead flies by the window sills. We ordered the thai iced tea, pad kee mao, and pad thai and everything we order was phenomenal. The sauces and the way the items were stir fried together were amazing flavor combinations, everything came out piping hot, and the chef who was clearly of thai descent came out a few times to interact with the tables. Nice little hidden gem. As weird it sounds another reviewer is right, when the Asian restaurant is slightly dirty you know the food should be good & authentic. I think what I love most about this place is that everything is made to order and it is quick, simple, delicious. In fact, it's 11-minutes quick! Yes I timed it from walking in to the plate of fresh noodles being set in front of me. The chef here can make a mean Phad Sei Iew, and the girl (daughter?) that runs the dining room is attentive and professional. 5-stars is rare for me, but this place deserves it for a clean and consistent offering.
