Boat Noodle and Traditional Noodle dishes!
    Sol P.

This little establishment is quite quant and such a cozy space. The dishes we had were phenomenal and tasted like how it was made back in the Mother land ! Our server was outstanding and checked on us often. She always made sure that we enjoyed our meal. The dishes we ordered were the boat noodle and the Nam Khao. Again both dishes had so much flavor and exactly the right amount. Definitely will return for more!!!

Thai iced tea was sooooooo good!

This could be my new fav thai restaurant. Everything I tried was delicious and the servers were very nice. It wasn't busy when I went. The Thai ice tea was soooooo good! Not a lot of setting for large parties but that don't bother me!

    Basil Chicken With Fried Egg

Food: I absolutely loved my dish, the flavor of the basil really made an entrance. The ground chicken was moist and flavored so well! And a fried egg completed the meal. I forgot what dry noodle dish the bf had, but he finished it so must have been delicious. If you have never had Thai ice tea, get it here. Probably one of the better ones I've had. Service: the lady serving us was so sweet, food came out promptly and fast. Ambiance: a nice lush little indoor garden, it's perfect for a meal and to catch up.

This has been our "home" thai restaurant for 3+ years. The owner is super friendly, and her dishes are so so good. Not only is everything very authentic, the food stays consistent with flavor & portions. Price is average for your typical thai restaurant, has indoor seating. I cannot believe the rating is 4.2!? If you just come here & order pad thai you are missing out on more amazing thai dishes that the chef here makes (such as the boat noodle, & personal favorite the pad kra pao).

    Nam khao tod

Amazing and authentic Thai food!! The best dish here for me is the dry noodles. Huge portions for the price. The meat stuff they added in there seems to be homemade and rare to find in the area. The fermented pork salad (nam khao tod) was so gooddd not as spicy as I want it to be but still flavorful and crispy. The service was great! She's checking up on us and accommodate our requests for food. The dish was around $19 per dish not sure how much the salad though. There was no price on the menu. The shop is cute and small but not too hard to find! I recommend this place for anyone that looking for authentic thai noodles shop coming from a Thai person

    Chicken Panang curry.

I still really like this place. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy but once you get inside the staff makes up for it. I really like how the Panang is heavy with peanut flavor. I'm still not convinced it's the greatest Thai restaurant but it's pretty dam good.

At home, a little of everything in one plate!

My second time here, I decided to dine inside. I had remembered the great experience last time, taking home several entries and making several meals out of that one to-go order. But this time I had one dish in mind - Chicken Larb! If you've never had Larb before, put it on your bucket list. It is a meat, coriander seed, peanut, roasted rice, peanut, cilantro, and chili-pepper "MINCE". Thats right, it is a mixture, the consistency of mince-meat... in a lettuce leaf or cabbage wrap. You may have to read that twice to get it. Or, see the pictures below. What I had today was possibly the best I've ever had - only mine is better. Just on the flavor and quality alone, this was a 5-Star meal! ... and it's only $13.99

    Curry with tofu

Ended up here on a whim when the Chinese place I wanted to go to wasn't open on Christmas. I went with yellow curry made with tofu and some spring rolls and the counter part got some sort of salmon curry. Service was super quick; we were quoted 15 min, but it was less than that. Kinda makes me wonder if it was a heat-and-eat kind of moment, because if that's the case I could have gone to the frozen section in the grocery store. Containers kept the heat in well and things were still very hot by the time I got back up on East Hill. Visually speaking, the curry was very plain looking. Very beige with no real discernable herbs or spices. That being said, the flavours are definitely in there and the taste was quite good. Well, my tofu curry was good, the salmon curry was hated and thrown into the garbage. Seems like the texture was weird? Either way, I was surprised he ordered the curry so it might have been a personal preference kind of thing, Greatest Thai place in the area? Nope. All things considered it's quite good, much closer than my favourite Thai place, so there's a chance I'll come here again.

A cozy mom and pop shop! Loved the atmosphere. Felt like I was dining in a home. We were all too hungry to take pictures since we went with the little ones in the family. But the food was delicious! Everything tasted like it was home made. Absolutely loved it. Their nam kao is hands down the best I've ever had. It was super fresh and crispy. Their papaya salad was bomb diggity. Left there satisfied! If you come in large groups, it can be a bit crowded since it's a smaller dining area. BUT, they make it work. Can't wait to come back for their nam kao & papaya salad!

Food wise it's a 4. Comfortable atmosphere and delicious food. Yet service was dissapointing. One of those feelings were you sense that they'd rather not have you there. Probably they wanted to close early or be out as soon as they could.

    Rice? Burnt spices? Wtf
    B S.

Meh. It's alright. The atmosphere of the actual establishment makes a bigger impression than the actual food and flavor. We ordered in tonight and received some pretty burnt rice. My husband tried to ensure me that it was "flavor"... honey, I was born at night but not last night. There's no way in hell that BURNT equates to "flavor/seasonings". I've eaten in and ordered out at this place and all times I've been severely under satisfied. The swimming Rama was like half a cup or sorry cut chicken and a cup of spinach. At these prices? No thanks honey. The peanut sauce was very thick almost like they burned the roué. Wtf. Definitely WONT be dinning here again. Regardless of the cool inside decor or not.

Thai Boat Noodle Beef and Pork

Always try to come here whenever we're down south! Always get their Thai Boat Noodles! It's not for everyone but it's quite authentic as you know if there's Thai patrons that come here all the time. It's a casual place where you can pop in for a quick bowl and be satisfied. The service is quick and the food comes out real fast and fresh! Have taken it to go before and still quite good when you heat it up! They usually separate the noodles so it doesn't get soggy but if you have the time to stop and eat it here then it's the best. We got a side of crackling pork rinds/chips with it to dip in the soup too.

Time-to-Drinks: 4 Minutes Time-to-Food: 10 Minutes We stopped in around 8PM on a Friday evening and it was relatively empty. A few people came in for to-go orders while we were sitting around. There were a few parking spaces and the building looks a little sketchy from the outside, but there's cozy indoor seating. I wasn't that hungry, so I split a Pad See Mao with seafood with my friend (4/5). Portions were sufficient for splitting, could definitely finish it on my own if I were a bit hungrier. There was a good amount of balance between vegetables (carrot, broccoli, bell pepper, onion) and seafood (shrimp, squid, and mussels). The spice level was as-expected and very reasonable. Noodle texture was nice and chewy. It wasn't the best pad see mao I've had (especially since it was a bit pricier, around $26 after tax and tip), but it was solid enough that I'd go again if I were in the area. I tried my friend's Grandma Wings, which had a better portion than I expected (I think there were six?). Nice crisp and good flavor, but I didn't think it was anything crazy (3.5/5). The Thai Tea here was too sweet for my taste, personally. My friend enjoyed it. Overall, solid experience here for a fast bite of good Thai food. I'd come back if I was craving Thai in the area.

We made the mistake thinking it was open at 11 on the weekend but they open at noon luckily enough a few stores were open and we were able to waste some time before lunch. We were seated quickly and given water which was filled often. We went three stars and shared three dishes. PAPAYA SALAD (SOM TOM), PHAD KEE MAO (DRUNKEN NOODLES) and I believe the TOM YUM FRIED RICE with tofu. I like how thin the papaya is for the salad. The spice level at three was perfect for us enough of a kick but not taking away from the flavor of the food. Space is warm and welcoming, lots of seating. We looked around other spots to eat at and ultimately decided to wait it out despite our grumbling tummies (or maybe it was just me)! We walked around the area and ended up in Daiso next door killing time and I picked up some art supplies to my ever growing pile. Finally it was open and we walked in, got sat, the staff were very friendly and smiling the whole time. Of course I thought we would be ordering at least 4-5 dishes to share but we ended up with a papaya salad with prawns (they are huge!), Chicken Pad Kee Mao, and the Garlic Fried Rice. Usually when it's me and my husband we always have to order our OG 3 dishes when we try a new spot but obviously I wasn't with my husband so we made a mutual decision and BOY THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT. The portions are pretty dang big! I don't think I've ever ordered a papaya salad on my own but the prawns? Did I already mention how big they were? Sheesh. The Pad Kee Mao?? I've had a few at different restaurants and really thought I just didn't like it and it wasn't my thing but I shoved a forkful into my mouth and immediately texted my husband saying we need to come back here like ASAP. It was so delicious! Something about it made me think "oh yea this is definitely what I expect when I think of Pad Kee Mao". I saved the best for last. GARLIC Fried Rice? Why have I never tried such a dish? (Hubs and I usually order Pineapple Fried Rice)... but holy moly. My love for garlic can keep a vampire away for miles! Best. Garlic. Fried. Rice. I'll definitely be back despite the fact I live an hour away but that's not going to hold me back.
