As I live close to here, I've been going here on and off for years. Consistently friendly service and tasty food keep me coming back. Great prices for the amount of food you get! I should have read some of the other reviews before I tried this place. The service was extremely slow. This is most likely due to the fact that it's a one man kitchen. The woman at the counter who takes the orders, and also appears to be the owner, is extremely unfriendly, and makes you feel like you are inconveniencing her, when you come to spend money at her restaurant. The food was also not that great. The Gyro's we ordered, both chicken and lamb were very small, and not very flavorful. This side items (fries & Greek salad) were actually better than the gyro's. What does that tell you??? It was also extremely cold inside, due to the fact that they leave the front door wide open, on a cold and rainy Seattle day!!!!! Lui's gyros are the best--and he'll appreciate it if you compliment the traditional inclusion of the fry. Horiatiki salad and eggplant pita are other cant-miss dishes. A great family-owned place to get a cheap, filling bite to eat. I had the chicken pita and a side salad. The salad was delicious and had lots of great veggies and feta. If you eat in the restaurant the dressing is on the table so you can dress it to your liking. The chicken pita was filled with freshly grilled chicken strips, veggies, and the most delicious tzatziki. I won't hesitate to come back whenever I have a hankering for Greek food! read more

My family stumbled into this restaurant after visiting the Space Needle... it is just across the street. The menu is traditional Greek, but burgers and chicken fingers are available for the more picky eaters in the group. The portions were generous. The lamb pita had chunked meat instead of shaved, but the flavor was great and pita was filled. There is an open kitchen and the food is prepared fresh to order. I suggest giving this place a try, and do yourself a favor - order some baclava! read more

GREAT LOCATION!!! had some lunch here today and ate it outside... a little chilly still in the shade, but well worth it!! located in fisher plaza, this greek restaurant offers gyros, salads and more... had the chicken gyro and although i wish it had more chicken in it it was still pretty yummy :) served with seasoned homefries this meal was just the right amount of food and pretty filling, but not too filling! the service was a little slow, but it was probably because the cook (there's only 1) was being interviewed by a local news reporter for channel 4!! good times :) you have a terrific view of the space needle when you eat outside and on a nice day (like today) can really enjoy all that is great in seattle!! days and moments like this remind of how happy i am to have made the decision to move up here... *cue in all the cheesy background music* AWWWWWWWW!!!! :) read more

I ate here yesterday because I was visiting from Chicago and was with Seattle friends. This is a great, convenient place with outstanding food. I had the gyros plate with a side order of fries. Everything was excellently seasoned! The sauce was amazing! The blend of flavors and just the right amount of feta on the fries was perfect. We have a significant Greektown in Chicago but this food was absolutely just as good or better than any I've had there. This place is super convenient to Seattle Center and the Needle. I really enjoyed coming here because the service was fast and the food was great. The fries were really interesting because they were round, but they were REALLY good. The portion was a little smaller than what I usually get in Greek restaurants. I found my gyro to be very yummy but the highlight was the fries. Best gyro I've ever had. The addition of fries and just a bit of cheese puts this thing into the stratosphere. Perfectly balanced in terms of meat to bread to sauce to veggies. Meat seemed to be thinner and a little crispier than other places. No dripping of grease or sauce from the bottom of your sandwich like other places. Killer location practically at the base of the Space Needle. Best sandwich you are likely to get for block if not miles around. read more

I visit the great city of Seattle about two or three times a year... About three years ago I stumbled across this restaurant and boy did I get lucky! Their gyros, pitas, Greek salad and pretty much anything else you find on the menu is all delicious! This has become a must stop for me on every visit.. Heck I went twice last week! I strongly recommend this place during your visit to the Space Needle, which by the way you get a clear view of while you eat here. The food was amazing and the staff were very friendly. We had the traditional gyro and a falafel pita. both were delicious and had the perfect amount of sauce. They came with waffle fries, which tasted delicious with the oil dressing that is on the table. I only ate here once a few years ago and I was not impressed at all. The gyro was good yet laughably small; not even big enough to be considered a light snack, but the wedge fries with garlic and herb seasoning were excellent. For $7, though, I expect a meal, not a light snack (the fries upgraded it to the "light snack" category, but the gyro on its own was less than what you can expect if you order a "right bite" at the Bite of Seattle). Another reviewer stated that they have since replaced the excellent wedge fries with standard fries which are too big to be cooked properly. I'm not sure if this is true, and after seeing the size of the gyros, I'm not likely to ever eat here again. read more

My wife and I have gone to the Grecian corner 2 times in the afternoon and both times they were closed. We have eaten here once and it was good. However, there is no excuse for them to be closed at 2pm when the hours state 1130-5pm. We are not waisting our time with them again. read more
