    The Godfather burger

So I ordered the burger the Mo, which was the Godfather burger very tasty. Good flavor bun held together with all the items on. It came with some of you which really didn't use. I did try it pretty greasy not much flavor. French fries fries are nice and hot.

Steak salad & bacon/cheese baked potato.

This place is great if you're looking for a quick bite. Staff is friendly, ambiance is laid back. & most importantly, the food is delicious. I'll definitely come again, to check out the other items on their menu.

Italian beef fries. This is not on the menu but they made them for me.

My family and I have been coming here for years. My aunt lives down the street so whenever we are visiting I love to come here. The food is always great. The service is always great. This time I put them to the test to see how far they would go for a satisfied customer. I ordered Italian beef fries. They were amazing. I really appreciate them going out of their way to make this. Also they have great chicken gyros. This place is also very clean. The energy is always high. I will continue coming here with no problem.

In spite of having 'Grecian Kitchen' booked from some time ago, I was re-introduced to it by Lauren G, a yelper I follow out of the Chicago area who recently reviewed it. From there, I just could not help but explore the menu for anything that would capture my interest as a vegetarian. Grecian Kitchen sits along Dempster St nearby Pita Inn Market, Dunkin', and a Burger King that I admit I have visited a handful of times in the past. The parking lot is private and there are plenty of parking spots available. I was acknowledged shortly after I walked in and up to the counter to look at the menu. It always takes me some time to look through the menu, especially when I am unfamiliar with the restaurant. I ended up ordering a veggie burger, with french fries and a drink because it was one of the few items that caught my interest, other than the grilled cheese. Service: 4 (Good) I opted out of dining in the restaurant and choosing to take my order to go! There is nothing wrong with the atmosphere of Grecian Kitchen, I just was not feeling in the mood to dine-in. Moreover, the restaurant appeared clean, and the atmosphere gave off a calm vibe amidst it being lunchtime. And there are a number of tables and seats available inside of the dining area, plus two televisions plastered on the wall for viewing pleasure as you eat or wait for your order. Atmosphere: 5 (Great) I could not resist eating the veggie burger inside of my vehicle after just taking a peek at it. Each bite was surely enjoyed as mayonnaise and mustard dripped from it. And those fries, Ooouuu, they looked so amazing! They were fresh and crispy but could have used less seasoning. Food: 4 (Good) Being that I had a good experience, I would gladly re-visit Grecian Kitchen again when in the Skokie area. Service: 4 | Atmosphere: 5 | Food: 4 Recommendations: grilled cheese, veggie burger, french fries, garlic fries, greek potatoes, corn on the cob, baked potato, or falafel salad ~ May the Force be with you ~ Thomas G

    1. Gyros Value Meal

Came across the place when I was craving a gyro. The have a nice free parking lot and outdoor seating. I didn't sit outside because it was really windy. I placed my order and was given a buzzer device so I know when my food was ready. When the buzzer went off, I grabbed my order and sat down to buzzsaw through the gyro. The gyro was well made and had plenty of tzatziki sauce, I always order an extra side because most places give you a dollop. The pita was warm and pillowy. Plenty of meat, big slices of tomato and onion all made this a very filling dinner. I jus wish the onions had more bite. No mints or gum was needed after eating. Looking forward to trying the burger special the next time I visit.

Greek Potatoes hard as a rock

Food tastes mediocre. Hair in my soup, tzatziki sauce was bland, inedible potato. Save yourself the trouble and visit the other Greek restaurants within a mile radius.

I have been eating her for years with my children. Today I asked for a cup with a lid for my 3 year old for water and the lady wanted to charge me $3.00. I come her often and never experienced this before here. Come on $3 for a lid for a toddler? I'm not sure I'll be back outrageous you are lucky she didn't spill it on the floor. Bad judgment on the cashier

I am traveling with my two kids (2 years old and 10 months old) and we took them - and I have to say everyone was very kind and accommodating, even when my youngest became very vocal. I can say with certainty that this was my kids' first table cloth experience, so I'm grateful for the hospitality! The food was great. I am the type of person who loves small plates, so that's all I ordered: tirokafteri, horiatiki, Greek potatoes, Briami...plus I filled up on their bread (the olive oil on the tables is so good) and my sister gave me her revithiosoupa (chickpea soup), which I have to say was surprisingly good. It looked underwhelming, but was full of flavor. I was impressed with what I ate and would love to go back without small children someday :) I didn't get to talk to anyone in Greek, which always makes me a little sad, but maybe .

Now I have eaten at a lot of Mediteranean restaurants over the years & just like every other food type there are some great place, good places & mediocre places. Larsa's definitely rates in the great range. Their food is delicious. In the past people, myself included used Pita Inn as a benchmark, but that's mainly because in the beginning there wasn't much to compare to. I have been trying different Mediteranean restaurants and Larsa's left PI in the rear view mirror. You can't even begin to compare the food at Larsa's to the former as the ingredients and flavors are far superior. Sure the cost is a little more, but there is absolutely no comparison as Larsa's food is far superior everything is made individually and not an assembly line production We started with a cup of lentil soup. I was like a starving animal savoring every bit of that soup. I should have gotten a bowl as it was delicious. Our server Nadia also brought out a regular serving of the jalapeño & cilantro hummus served w/warm thin pita bread. OMG this was like heaven. My sister mentioned that she could make a meal out just the hummus and the pita and I agree. Next we had the Fatoush Salad this has crispy pita crust, lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, radishes, green peppers w/a dressing with olive oil, lemon & sumac. This was just ok, but I liked the crispy pita bread it added a nice crunch. We split a combo platter as the portion size is very generous. This dish comes w/chicken kabobs, beef kifta, beef shawarma, red onions, tomatoes slices & basmati long grain rice. The kifta & chicken kabobs were both very tasty, it they were a little dry. The beef shawarma was cooked & seasoned perfectly as the pieces just melted in my mouth. Every once in awhile our server Nadia came by and was very helpful in telling us about dishes we had questions about. She was super cool and friendly. There was another server that was also very helpful, but we didn't catch her name. Sometimes you go to a restaurant that everyone raves about and you think ehhh what the big deal, but this isn't the case w/Larsa's. I will definitely be back again. Thanks for the heads up Yelpies you picked a winner.

This building looks like it possibly used to be an old 90s/00s KFC or Pizza Hut or something, but it's cozy and clean and we love an easy access parking lot. The menus are expansive and you order at the counter when you walk in. There are plenty of tables for dining in, and a few were taken while we were there. There was a steady stream of phone orders coming in for pick up, and the restaurant was busy overall. We were helped right away and the staff at the counter were so friendly. I ordered a Maxwell street sausage as a meal ($5 additional for a drink and fries) and my partner ordered the American Gyro sandwich and also as a meal. We grabbed a table and our drinks from the fountain machine and only waited a few minutes for the number on our receipt to be called with our order. The food here is so fresh and delicious. This is one of the best Maxwell street sausages I've had around, the bread was perfect and soft inside and crispy on the outside with the sausage split and grilled and perfectly sweet caramelized onions. The fries looked like they came in frozen/pre-cut but were fried up perfect and a generous portion. The Gyro came stacked with meat, it wasn't dry, and had great flavor. Because the food was so delicious I decided to grab a piece of baklava to go, which I was assured was homemade and delicious - and they were right. So sweet, fresh, textured, rich, luxurious. Don't skip the baklava when you stop by! This is definitely a spot that will be added to our regular rotation of lunch/dinner spots around town. Thank you so much Charcoal Flame Grill for a wonderful experience with super friendly staff! Can't wait to see you soon and try more menu items!

Than I read something on instagram that they serve the best gyros, I just had to swing by. I ordered their Gyros Dinner Plate and their Pork Chops Dnner Plate. I also got their Kefte Dinner Plate for my son Alex. Alex said his kefte plate was good. I, on the other hand, found my touted Gyros plate, kinda "meh". The meat was kinda bland, although those humongous greek potato wedges were awesome! I bought the pork chops for din-din with my wife later that night. Unfortunately, the chops were tough and chewy! I know it's tough to cook pork chops, but, they're a restaurant. You'd think they'd know how to cook pork chops the right way. So, in conclusion, it was a big letdown for me on this new find. I'd have to say that their servings are quite abundant, but It terribly lacks in taste and texture, and I don't think quantity equals quality here.
