This place is awesome! If you want a great place to hit up on a beautiful day, Greek Bites is it. It's a small roadside stop on the side of Montauk Highway, and it's an ideal stop on the way to hit up Terrel Park on a sweltering summer day. You order at the counter and can either take out, or dine at their limited outdoor seating outside in the shade. My friend and I have always done the latter and it's always been clean and comfortable. I'll be honest and say I've never tried more than the gyro lunch special, but if you're curious, they have traditional greek fare (soups, salads, entrees, desserts), as well as some burgers, chicken, and wraps for those less adventurous. The portion is ridiculously huge! Like, I can literally be stuffed on just the filling (but of course I want the option of having carbs from the pita). The lunch special comes with fries, and again HUGE portion. I'm good and stuffed by the time we leave, and ready to burn it off at the trail after! I will NEVER go here again, and will share my reason why. First, the food is only adequate so not going here is no big deal. However, the female owner, I do not know her name. She was rude, does not trust customers or her staff and has no problem saying it in front of other customers. She made a horrible day worse for me. Three weeks ago I had to have my 9.5 yr old dog euthanized. A friend went with me so on the way home I said, we need to get something to eat let's just stop at Greek Bites, I have a gift certificate. This GC was from the Southampton business which is no longer open, it was given to me by my boss since I live locally and he does not. I have used it a few times in Moriches with no problem, but this time, the OWNER (that's what she said, and with how she spoke to people, I believe it) said the GC amount was too high and she had never seen one that high so she didn't believe it was real and shouldn't take it. She continued to babble and make comments and said it several times. I explained how I got the GC and why it was so high, but she still did not believe me, said she would take it this time but not in the future. I ignored the continued comments but anytime I started to talk with my friend, the woman started again until i said, "keep your food" and I left. Now I still have almost $200.00 on this GC but not worries lady, I wouldn't eat your food now even if it is free. You see, the GC, is real, but you, are not nice and frankly, I would rather give my money (when not using a gift card) to a business that appreciates it's clients. read more

This place has decent greek food at decent prices. But they're not implementing social distancing at all. When I went in the evening, there were 8 people crowded inside waiting for their orders or waiting to pay. I saw they had a small covered sign that said no more than 3-4 people inside, but no one seemed to care. They called up to three people to pay or pick up their orders at the same time, only causing more crowding. With all the money they're making, they could have a separate section for pickups, or implement proper distancing. I'm sure they won't lose their customer base. I didn't feel safe at all, I recommend not coming here in the evening if you want to avoid the crowds. read more

I absolutely love this place. I have been going here for years and can't say enough about how delicious there gyros are. The food is always fresh and is always consistent. Mariana is awesome and is always having us try new things to have us really get the full experience. She was actually the person who introduce gyros to my family and I a mind we have been addicted ever since. We have tried other places but no other place comes close. The owners are very nice and very involved. Greek Bites is always busy, but you never wait long for your food. They also offer desserts which are delicious as well. Excellent Greek food. Takes a little long to get your food and they are a little pricey. That being said, when we want Greek this is where we go. There is no inside dining available, but they have cute tables to sit at. The downside to this is that it's right in the parking lot or you can eat at a table on the side, but keep in mind that this is located on a busy street. You'd be better off taking your food home or planning on going to a park or somewhere else to eat. read more

This establishment is way over priced and the service is rude. The food was all soggy and cold as well and had no flavor. I will never be going back here again. I love the food here but they are very pricey and started to skimp on the food you get now compared to when they first opened we have gone here for years and noticed this still a great spot the lemon soup is to die for! You can't judge a book by it cover! Though this location is small they have the best food. The employees are wonderful and even when they are busy they still keep moving and make sure everyone leaves with a smile on their face! Since the pandemic they have remained open and have gotten even busier but they are still providing the same wonderful service and making sure their customers are happy safe and healthy. I used to love this place when I first moved about two and a half years ago. Best gyros salads lentil soup even feta fries yum but I keep giving it another chance and unfortunately I'm done. There prices are to high my orders keep getting screwed up and most importantly the quality of the food has gone down hill. I thought it was just a different cook or they changed the recipes or something but I keep trying it and it's not getting better. I've complained because I want it to get better but it doesn't seem to matter. Not to mention that even when you order food you still have to wait 20 to 30 minutes when you go pick it up. I want it to go back to the way it was so badly because they really did have amazing food. :( read more

Call your order in first. I have only had the gyro and spinach pie. The gyro was really tasty. The veggies were fresh and crisp. The meat is standard for a road stand. The spinach pie was ok. 2 hours and 16 minutes for a delivery that said 45 minutes. - i called after an hour and a half and they said they were making my order now because it was too busy..so they pretty much said my order was less important then everyone elses. I didnt order complicated things. I ordered 2 large greek salads, a chicken parm pita and a large chicken soup.. total $47.00. Now outfitted with more tables (surprisingly comfortable chairs and orange umbrellas) and a Southampton location, Greek Bites seems to be blossoming into a joint that can actually hold its own in the once-perennially-doomed piece of real estate it occupies. The staff is friendly but sometimes too efficient and overly confident, to the point where I repeated my order of a zucchini patty/pita (even so much as pointing to it twice) multiple times and was still charged for a zucchini platter (guess I should've went with the veggie pita like I'd planned). It ended up a tasty item that didn't match the flavor profile of their falafel or greek salad pita but was just as filling, and the total for a decent-sized meal is still a bit over what I'd like, but I don't expect that to improve. I also added an order of saganaki for the table, which was addictive in the way that (and similar in taste to) Domino's cheesy bread cam be, coming with a netted lemon half that you should use sparingly, if at all. Family dynamics run the place and the ordering space needs expansion, as the line is always considerable, but the parking lot tends to accommodate the perfect number of clientele. The female staff tends to skew attractive, and the male staff to skew creepy, but the Baklava Truffle was damn tasty, and the Greek Bites fries were too soggy and came with too much oregano and coagulated feta, something I could exceed at home. read more

I have been eating there since it open! However the last 3 months its gone down hill!! Ordered 2 meals at separate times and failed to put the extra meat in the meal, but still paid for the extra!! When I said something the owners daughter was a arrogant Lil ---- , said I'm sure it was there. Last night bought the same salad for my 1000 time and the dressing was sour. So I drove 4 miles to get a exchange and the same daughter told me that it was my problem and that they sold 10 people before me and they didn't complain!! I'm like WTF. I told them to keep the salad and I will never be back She the daughter smiled and said to me see you next week!! Goes to show! That I'm there every week. I replayed never again. I go here a lot and its my gyro go to spot. the food is so delicious! but I must say, the food is really over priced and they barely fill their pitas. i come from a day when gyros used to have to be cut in half to have a meal and when you ate a whole one you were pretty much full the rest of the day or night. if they could just do the consumer a favor and give them their moneys worth theyd be on top of the gyro world. but i guess its called greek bites for a reason. : / read more
