We went through the drive-thru around 3:30pm and were the only car in line. Since we weren't ordering at a tradional meal time, we weren't sure how fresh the food would be at this hour, but our food came out quickly and everything was surprisingly fresh! We ordered 2 mini gyros and 1 large gyro with fries and a drink. The fries were piping hot, perfectly crisp on the outside, and deliciously seasoned. The mini gyros were larger than I was expecting, and they did not skimp on the filling. The meat, a mix of beef and lamb, was tender, and the pita was soft with a little bit of a chew. I loved the tzatziki sauce and thought it added a tasty zing. This is a great place to stop if you are looking to get something quick, filling, and delicious. read more

Tried Greek Express for the first time last night, and am definitely a fan. The gyro meat was thinly sliced, incredibly tender and really flavorful. Both my husband and I got a large sized gyro, and we split a large order of fries. It was more than enough food for us, and we are both pretty big eaters. Got the gyro kids meal for my two year old, and she kept coming back asking for more "Greek steak"! I would definitely recommend Greek Express when you are craving a good gyro! read more

I love falafel and this place does not disappoint. The falafel pita is DELICIOUS and stuffed with fresh, crisp veggies. You'll pay extra for feta and banana peppers, but you can't go without them! The gyro is tasty and also massive. The pita themselves are just right and served warm. Hummus was not our favorite. They are always SUPER fast, which is appreciated, and friendly. read more

I tried Greek Express about a week ago after having lived in the area for over a year and not having heard anything about it. Grabbing a gyro and fries to go, the food arrived quickly and the employees were friendly enough. Unfortunately, the food wasn't very good. The gyro meat was less flavorful than other gyro meat I've had, and it was the best part of the gyro. The tzatziki sauce had little flavor to it and there was too much of it so that the gyro was very messy, and there was tons of iceberg lettuce, the only vegetable to be present to any degree. The fries were unremarkable. I think every other place I've tried a gyro from has been better. Loops, which is very close, is a much better choice if you're looking for a gyro. Probably won't be back due to the disappointing food. read more

This place is just very tasty, recently discovered the onion rings which were great! The service is quick and efficient, the one drawback is them pushing people to tip on counter service. I am a great tipper who was in the business for 20 years BOH and this is reaching. Good, middle of the road place. Fast and reasonably priced. Fries are great (but not quite as good as the awesome fries from Loops down the road) Gyro veggies were awesome and fresh; the red onions were a nice touch, but gyro meat was a little dry. I've been doing a weekly gyro tour of Columbus. This week is Greek Express on 5th. So far, Loops has the best fries, Hellas has the best gyros, and Greek Express has the edge for convenience and price. read more

Very fast, clean, and tons of food for a decent price. The fries are good, everything else... Meh. While it is a Greek fast food place, mentally prepare yourself for it to fit more in the 'fast food' set of expectations than 'Greek restaurant' expectations. I used to frequent the location in Powell for lunch, and was sad when I changed jobs because I wouldn't be able to go anymore. Now I'm working close to this location, and am excited to report that it's just as good as the one in Powell! They have several combinations to choose from so it's easy to get exactly what you're looking for at a very reasonable price. My favorite is the #5: mini gyro with spanakopita (the best I've ever had!) and drink. read more

Prompt, friendly service and the food is consistent and of decent quality. I've had the chicken w/ rice and regular/chicken gyro combos. While it may not be the best Greek food in town (I have yet to find a local Greek restaurant that uses real lamb for their Gyros), for the price and convenience, you cant' beat it. read more

Have lunched there frequently for a couple of years and, having really enjoyed salads and other plates, we hired these guys to do a couple of catering jobs for us. They don't come and serve the food, but you will be hard-pressed to find a better catering bargain than Greek Express. For $12 per person, we ate like maniacs on delicious platters of rice, chicken, roasted vegetables, and more salad than any human can eat. Absolutely outstanding, particularly at this price. Food was also ready exactly when they said it would be in easy to transport containers. I will keep this in mind for catering family gatherings around the holidays. read more

Regular gyro - was very tasty and a good portion side. Top with very fresh lettuce, tomato and onion. My only complaint is there was not enough tzatziki sauce on it, otherwise great! Spicy feta dip (special, not on menu) was too spicy (and I like spicy). Pita served with dip could of been toasted more and cut into pieces. Quick and friendly service! read more

I was reluctantly persuaded by co-workers to try a gyro for the first time. Something about eating lamb just didn't sound appetizing to me. I was so glad I did! It was so delicious! I went there Thursday for lunch. Normally this is one of my favorite places to go for lunch. But don't let them misunderstand what you say. The lady that took my order didn't hear me correctly that I wanted the mini gyro meal no tomatoes with a Pepsi and a mini chicken one too with a Pepsi. So when I finished filling my drinks and got my food I wondered where my fries were. I patiently waited in line again and asked about my fries because I explained I wanted the meal. She charged me "FULL MENU PRICE!" For my two orders of fries and explained to me that I didn't order it correctly. I said this is almost costing me another meal. She just looked at me waiting for me to pay. I even said can't you just charge me the difference and she said no. I don't know about you but that is poor customer service. My meal that is normally $6.49, I got charged $10.61+$4.38=$7.50. I think I may rethink going there for a while if this is how they treat their customers especially when their customers bring it to their attention and they apparently don't care. read more

By far one of the worst Greek restaurants I've been to in Columbus. I regret even deciding to go to this restaurant. The main reason I chose to order from this place, was due to its proximity to both my employer and osu. Each time I've been to this place, my order gets screwed up and their reps will lie to you about the order being screwed up. They even screw up orders when they aren't busy at all and the restaurant is completely empty. I will never eat there again. read more
