I work in the area and had no idea this lovely restaurant was here. It's located in a busy little shopping strip between the beer and wine store and the beauty supply store. You have the typical blue and white decor that you find in almost every Greek restaurant. There are pictures of Greece all around. We started our meal with the Village Bread which consist of four slices of herb-garlic bread. Our entrees were the Trio Platter and Lamb Chops. I've always considered a combo platter for those who were undecisive or just want to try everything. This dish had skewers of chicken souvlaki and pork souvlaki and sliced gyro. There was a stack of pita bread, fries, and tzatziki. Definitely a large portion of food that we had to take home as leftovers. Both souvlaki was cooked well and the meat was tender. The Lamb Chops were cooked at medium as requested. They were a little tough and I had expected the meat to be a little softer. But the seasoning was good. The lamb chops came with green beans and Greek potatoes. For dessert we tried the Galaktoboureko. It was like a burrito made of phyllo dough filled with a semolina orange custard and sprinkled with cinnamon on top and syrup. I didn't think the custard was very "orange-y" and wished I had ordered the baklava. But at least I tried something new. Service: Attentive Parking: Not abundant but you should be able to find spaces.

My wife and I really like The Greek Village despite that there is always something lacking here. In the door its a very spacious, clean and bright restaurant. Service- They really could step it up a lot. Your seated, they take your order and you won't see your server again until its time for your check, you almost need to send up a flare to get someone to your table and its all the time. Food- The food is good, vnot great but good. My wife had the Chicken Slovakia which was undercooked( pink in the middle) I ordered the Baby Lamb Chops wish came with a salad, potatoes and green beans (see picture) the chops were good, great flavor, cooked as I like them but they were tough. The potatoes were also cooked well and seasoned nicely. The beans were straight from a can. The salad was fresh and cold but had ZERO FLAVOR. Bottom line- decent middles of the road Greek Cuisine.

My family and I have been coming here for years (at least a decade if I'm being honest). I enjoy this restaurant for its intimate, family-oriented vibes. This is our go-to spot for Greek and default choice for "something different." My usual is the spanakopita entree, which comes with a generous side of rice pilaf and a salad (you can also swap out the salad for a soup). The avgolemono soup is a family favorite! It's better to order the spanakopita when dining in, as it didn't retain its crispy filo exterior when ordered to-go. Another dish I enjoy is the gyro platter, which is super filling. The meat is tender and appropriately salty as one would expect for gyro meat. It also comes with a salad, pita bread, and French fries - a platter indeed! I can get two meals out of it. Our carryout order had all the necessary fixings - house dressing for the salad, tzatziki sauce for the gyro, ketchup for the fries, and even included bread and butter. Greek Village consistently provides tasty classic dishes that we can depend on. When dining in, the service is great and Greek music is always playing in the background. Greek Village is a local gem!

A Delicious Salad from Greek Village!

This place immediately was great. The second you walk in, without knowing the name of the restaurant you can tell it's Greek. Decor makes it look like it's straight from Greece, and it looks so pretty. The people were very kind and they let us take our time to order. The food however, is my fav part. I got the chicken kebab, and it tasted so good with a slight tang and it was so tender. Fries and pita bread tasted great, and the meals my friends had gotten had all been rated greatly! It tasted very authentic and it was 10/10!

I ordered a Greek salad for delivery. They didn't have Greek dressing as an option. The food was delivered fairly quickly after ordering online and the delivered order was accurate as requested with modifications (no olives). The portion for a $14 salad is quite small. The salad tasted okay, was only somewhat fresh and satisfying, so I would not recommend based on the taste and the price tag of this one item. I will have to try other menu items before ruling out the place. Will give it another go soon.

Their Greek salad was one of the best I've had in the area. It was fresh and came with a grape leaf and pita on the side. I thoroughly enjoyed it for lunch. My friend was charged for the extra tzatziki that she wanted and there were some complications with having separate checks for six people but everyone enjoyed what they ordered.

Even considering it's off-season, the size didn't match what was advertised. On top of that, they tasted off, almost like they weren't fresh, the texture of the crab meat was dry/ mushy and the garlic butter was terrible. The drinks didn't help either--the sweet tea and half & half both tasted horrible. Service was average at best, nothing that made up for the rest of the experience. And to top it off, they automatically added an 18% gratuity for a party of 4 (20% for parties over 6), which felt excessive given the quality or lack thereof. Also, they do NOT accept Apple Pay as advertised. Overall: -4127/10. Would not recommend.

He rushed us to order, made us uncomfortable when we were deciding what to order, and asked us if we wanted the house made bread. I knew the bread was $5 but he made no mention of it. If I was coming to eat there and was asked if I wanted bread and didn't know there was a charge, I would be upset. It was kind of deceiving, and when the bill came out, shoved the handheld device to pay in my face and I couldn't go over the bill. He told me to put my phone here when paying and that was that. The bill was incorrect and I had to get a manager to fix it (the manger was very friendly and took care of everything). I also have an issue when a server asks us how the food is, right when the food gets put down on the table. We hadn't even had a chance to take a bite. Now, why I gave this place a five star. Like I said before, the ambiance was amazing, if we had a different server, I'm sure it would had been great! The food: it' was top notch. Some of the best food in Maryland. I wouldn't had changed anything with the food. Everything was seasoned perfectly, had the right textures, and tasted so good! Would I go back? Absolutely!

We started with the Grand Caviar tasting, which was the most expensive caviar option on the menu. For the price, I expected much more. The caviar was extremely salty, to the point where it felt like additional salt had been added on top. The tasting included three varieties of caviar. The caviar they used on one was the exact caviar they used in sushi. Our second appetizer, the tuna dish, was significantly better. While the presentation could have been more refined and visually appealing, the flavor exceeded expectations and was one of the stronger dishes we tried. For my entrée, I ordered the branzino. The fish itself was decent, but def not crispy but it was salty. The sauce was salty and the fish was salty making the entire plate feel like salt layered upon salt. Additionally, the skin was advertised as crispy, but it lacked the crisp texture I was expecting. My husband ordered the rainbow trout stuffed with crab. It was enjoyable and probably the most balanced entrée of the evening, though it wasn't particularly memorable. For sides, I ordered the wild mushrooms, and my husband chose the risotto. The risotto had good flavor but seemed slightly undercooked. The mushroom side was also on the salty side, and despite being described as "wild mushrooms," it consisted primarily of portobello mushroom.
