Amazing food, amazing service & people, and the inside looks very authentic Greek and romantic. Highly recommend!

Visited Greektown for the first after a show at Phoenix Theater Company. The bread and lemon chicken soup were very good. My wife ordered the Pasteetso and I went with the gyro platter. The Pasteetso was excellent and the vegetables and Greek potatoes were amazing. The Gyro platter was very good and you won't be disappointed in this family run operation that has been around for 50 years. "FIMP" Food is my Passion

Breaded calamari in a lemon sauce, served fresh steaming hot, and it is

The food is absolutely amazing, and the service is some of the most genuine, authentic, and down to earth, friendly, fun and honest staff that I have ever experienced. They all take care and have appreciation for their customers as well as the food they serve. Family owned would be an understatement. I got the calamari which I've never had. It served like this and I can't wait to come back just for this alone! The lemon rice soup came with the meal and it's so good! Ask them about splitting entrées to have a half-and-half and they will totally take care of you! I will be back. My only regret is that I didn't stop in sooner after having driven past year countless times before.

12/19/25: Still an excellent dining experience. We hadn't been here since they renovated a year or so ago. All but the Mom came by our table and we never wanted for anything; they were all on top of their game. Food, service, ambiance, Greektown has it all. Appetizers: feta & olives plus saganaki. Awesome. Meal: capama & chops. Double awesome! The chops were perfectly seasoned and the meat was fall-off-the-bone tender. Dessert: baklava cheesecake. I don't typically like cheesecake but this was not the over-the-top richness it usually is. Delicious.

Blue ouzo shot!! Nothing better after an amazing dinner!! Efkaristou George!!!

It's 10 years later.... And we STILL love Greektown. George and his family knock it out of the park consistently!! The calamari?! You haven't LIVED until you've had the calamari here. The paidakia?! My son demolished the entire plate. We will come to Greektown any chance we get - because it's that incredible.

Omg! You should definitely know what you're walking into before you come casually strolling into this place. You are going to be greeted with the most gregarious hello ever. It's Greek style here. George and his brother have big flamboyant hearts. They care about their menu,; they care about their service; they care about the ambience; and they care about your happiness. They go way over the top to make sure your evening is extra special. This was such a special night. George came out of the kitchen and made a very special announcement, that Charlie was having his 104th birthday at Greektown. Everyone broke into song! It was one of the most adorable things I've ever seen... It wasn't even my birthday, yet it was so memorable. I will never forget this evening. The whole room was overflowing with LOVE as George talked about how remarkable Charlie is! I heard plates smashing in the kitchen as we saying happy birthday and OPAAAA! The food was absolutely delicious and I ate every single thing on my plate. It's authentic Greek food so you won't find fava or hummus on the menu. The wine was fantastic too. I had Greek wine, of course. My friends have been coming here for years... They know George personally now. However, I feel like it doesn't matter much, because George will be your friend by the end of the night. I would dress up a little bit if you're eating in the nice dining room. I like that they have white table cloths and they care about the little things. The place is very clean... The outside of the building is so sparse and even baron like. It looks like a gray brick storage house.... but then you walk in and BOOM- you've been transported to another world... specifically, GREEKTOWN! I will be back, as I think this might be the best place to celebrate a special occasion with people you love. I will say, you can wear a T-shirt and shorts, and easily sit at the bar... I saw a lot of people at the bar enjoying themselves. They have a TV on and it's quite casual. If I didn't have a special occasion to celebrate, I would love to do that as well. Check out my fun pictures and videos of Charlie at his 104th birthday party... I don't personally know Charlie, but he really touched all of our hearts. This place has a magic about it... bringing strangers together. Now, if only the rest of the world could do this, we would all be winning at life. Thank you Greektown!

Ok best Greek food Eva! George the owner is an entire experience in itself. Family owned and operated as authentic as you can get! We enjoyed the calamari appetizer, it's a must get! We let George dictate our entire menu and it was perfection!

Their website provides no useable information like... Do they have menu items for kids? Can anyone help me with that?

Kid items are available but we don't list them on the menu. My children made these items themselves when they were little! Kid pita pizzas with house cut fries, Pita Quesadilla with gyro and more! OPA

My friend order the chicken....I've never seen or tasted drier chicken....we jokingly called it Chicken Chips. Should have returned it but didn't. They must have known as they were plating? Ate very little.... I ordered the lamb kabob....it was ok but pretty bland, looked like processed little meat balls. . Service was good and friendly, no owner on site. In past visits I loved their Asobuco but none was on the menu. That's what I wanted to order. There was free baklava ....wasn't looking for free....went up to the counter to order some. Then was given two out of a bunch of stacked containers behind the register. If I hadn't inquired wouldn't have known. In past visits they always walked around with a tray and offered. This was dry as well..... I do appreciate free but not dry. I was willing to pay. I probably caught them on an off night, business was good which is always a good sign. I'll give them another shot but won't order the Chicken Chips.
