I used these guys years ago when they had good reviews. After our install, I noticed quite a few poor reviews which somehow eventually disappeared. Now it's mostly good reviews again, so not sure what to make of it. In any case, our experience with them was not great at all and I would not consider working with them again. First, they only offered Goodman and Lennox installations at the time, and we opted for the more affordable Goodman option. After several years, the condenser started making all sorts of weird noises on start-up and shut-off (squeaking, buzzing and clunking). We had a local guy take a look at it and he found that the unit had not been fully charged with refrigerant during installation. We added several pounds of Puron and the performance improved somewhat. When it came time to clean the indoor coil, a good inch of water was found at the bottom of the drain pan. Our service guy concluded that the evaporator coil had not been pitched toward the drain line during installation and so the condensate never fully drains out of the pan. This resulted in advanced corrosion at the waterline of the pan and a portion of the coil that was in contact with the condensate pool. Eventually, the drain pan will corrode all the way through and leak water onto our furnace. According to the manufacturer, the entire evaporator coil assembly will need to be replaced as the drain pan is an integrated unit. Not sure why they use a corrosion susceptible material in an assembly that is regularly subjected to contact with water, but the technical notes very clearly indicate the importance of pitching the evaporator coil during installation. Our coil was installed almost completely level. When I brought this up to Mike, he said he'd be happy to send out a technician to write up an estimate for the labor charge required to reinstall the coil. And he'd have to charge me a service call for the visit. Not sure why I should pay for this guy to fix his own mistakes. His response: the unit was installed to code and passed inspection. I never saw the inspector open up the coil cabinet to ensure it was draining properly during operation. Incidentally, we failed the first inspection and barely passed the second. That was reassuring. Not! Also, with all eyes now on the evaporator coil, it was observed that the holes cut in the plenum for insertion of the starting collars were very poorly done and one of them wasn't even round. I'm certain I could have done a better job as a first timer with the right tools. Issue number two: poor airflow. I complained about this almost immediately and technicians were sent out to check. It was confirmed that airflow seemed less than ideal in the hottest rooms, but they could not seem to figure out why. I found one of the large supply ducts in the attic was pinched off to less than half its full diameter when it was strapped to the rafter. But Mike said that doesn't matter, even though I've read quite a bit about how constricted and smashed ducts can adversely affect supply airflow. I eventually removed the return register grill and found that the intake was open on three sides. I looked at a neighbor's setup, which seemed to be breathing much better than ours, and noted that their return was open only on the side facing the register. I promptly boarded up the remaining two sides and sealed with an expanding foam type crack and crevice filler. Result = drastic improvement in airflow, though the complete system remained noticeably unbalanced with some rooms hot and others cold during the summer months. And they did all the ducting during install, so there's nobody else to blame for that problem. How come they couldn't figure this stuff out for themselves? Answer = Extreme Incompetence. Mike routinely responded to poor reviews on Yelp with a statement about how some of his techs might need more training. Ya think? Don't waste your time and money on these guys. For starters, they're quite expensive. I'm pretty sure they operate at very close to the highest profit margins for this industry group. Second, they only offered Lennox and Goodman at the time we bought. Lennox is a great brand, but tends to be pricey. Goodman is very nearly garbage in my opinion, and I would never invest in another Goodman unit again. Basically, they install the best or the worst equipment. Great! Finally, the INCOMPETENCE FACTOR cannot be overstated. These guys do not know what they're doing and will not stand behind their work. They very clearly made mistakes and instead of taking ownership wanted to bill me for correcting them, stating that the 3-year labor warranty had recently expired. Warranty expired or not.. if you screw up and do a garbage job, you have to fix it. Period! Oh yeah, and their estimator mentioned that I was getting his best installers. Their best were obviously at their worst in our home. read more

GREEN AIR SOLUTIONS & the owner Mike does not even deserve a star but it el not post my review unless I put a star. It has been a nightmare dealing with this company. DO NOT TRUST THEM. They are scam artist, Mike is a total jerk!! (I normally don't say mean things like this.)They will take your money, I paid them $8,000 for the HVAC unit & small thermostat which looks like used, it only worked for a month. The heavy set male employee who installed the thermostat said, "that's the only one I have in my truck".(He even took my old better styled thermostat with him). " We will come back to replace it". ( But they never did). Calling them for an appointment was a joke. They either cancel on the same day or they won't show up at all. My problem with this company & the owner Mike continued for over 4 years. He even said , "if you have other companies touch the system they would not honor any warranty anymore". What warranty? They have not honored it at all!! I told Mike, my sister & 2 of my friends never have problems with their system. They only paid $5,700 to $6,200 for their new HVAC, with new Nest thermostat plus 10 years free parts & labor warranty. Mike yelling on the phone & said " I don't care about other companies' warranty". Mike said, "if you don't take your bad review about our company, I will get a lawyer & sue you. Plus we will not fix your AC!!. Labor will be $250 & the parts / thermostat will be free". I gave in & took the bad review off the internet. It took 2 months of trying to get an appointment, Mike said he was waiting for the new thermostat he ordered for me. Finally, he sent George to fix the AC, he came late at about 7 pm, he said "the AC was wired wrong", which took 5- 10 minutes to fix, I asked about the thermostat that Mike promised it will be replaced. He said,"Mike did not tell him to change it, he said it still works". It worked for less than an hour. Mike called at 8 am the following morning yelling at the top of his voice " why did you not pay George the $162 for labor? I even gave you a discount instead of $250!" I told him the system was miswired plus I thought he was coming back to replace thermostat that he (Mike) promised to replace. Plus it is still not working. Other companies have free 10 year parts & labor yet you charge me for something your company miswired? Mike said, " who told you that?" I said, "George". Mike started yelling again. "I don't care what warranty other companies offer, do not call our company to fix your AC anymore!!!" I said, "I paid you $8,000 for an HVAC that does not work". Mike just hung up on me. BEWARE, GREEN AIR SOLUTIONS & OWNER MIKE ARE YOUR WORST NIGHTMARE". He probably treat male customers better than older ladies like me. We call Green Air solutions because our AC is running poorly. When I called them and asked for the estimate the lady told me $70 to check the system,clean and change the filter.I immediately agree because they can give us fast appointment. Appointment came,they clean our compressor and give us an estimate what needs to be done.We decided to get estimates from other companies to get a better idea what is going on.After couple of months our AC started acting weird and we call for a different company to check on it.Apparently,the filter was never changed and never cleaned.It was supposedly included in the package that we purchased.It was a disappointing experience for us. read more

I invited Green Air Solution into my home due the reviews on this site. Martin, the owner, promptly showed up, examined my situation and recommended improvements; replacing furnace, condenser and coil. I felt comfortable with him due to his upfront, matter of fact approach and attitude. A week later a 2 man crew showed up, on time and proceeded to remove and replace the equipment. Unfortunately the coolant lines needed to be replaced with a new copper version, which we had not foreseen happening, so there was both an additional day added due to the install plus an up-charge for the parts and labor. Though this was a slight disappointment, overall I'm so far pleased with the job. The crew worked clean and efficiently and Martin made himself available to me when I had concerns and questions. I'm very critical and did touch up a few items to my crazy high standards but that has been the case no matter who has worked on my house in the past. Having said all this, I would recommend this company to those in need of their serves. I believe in doing your own due diligence and think that this should include inviting Green Air Solutions into your home. read more

I have a signed contract with another Solar company but they came to my home to inspect the contract and instead of speaking negative about this company, they gave them the thumbs up of approval and said I did well for my needs. Other companies can't wait to tear down their competition but as these people are professionals and as they care about their customers and prospective business, They will always be upfront and not waste your time. We hired Green Air Solutions in May 2018 for a new installation of central heating/air. Work started as promised, then they didn't come for a few days and there was a bit of a rush job by Gustavo to "finish" by the end of the week. The city inspection the following month revealed a long list of necessary corrections, ranging from electrical code violations to holes in the roof. We scheduled repeated appointments with Green Air Solutions, but usually no show even when I called to confirm appointments the day before or in the morning. Eventually there was some work, a new city inspection was scheduled - almost all the problems remained unresolved (electrical code violations, holes in the roof, etc). Throughout the fall, October, November and now December, we had appointments for repairs, most recently last Friday (no show), this Monday (no show). So the punchline is: Half a year later, we have a poorly installed central air/heating that is not up to code despite countless of promises that it would be repaired. read more
