I wanted to try this place after passing by it everyday for the last 7 months. The decor and vibe of the place seemed like a really great place to be my new go-to for morning coffee. I ordered an Americano with an everything bagel with egg and bacon. As I waited patiently I watched the cook prepare the food for the person who ordered ahead of me. It seemed like a longer wait time for just my order. As I looked up from my phone I saw the cook cleaning up from the last order and changing the garbage bag and then to my horror saw him gab the bacon with the same gloves he used for the trash bag. There's really nothing more to say other than I asked for a refund and will never go back to this place. It takes no more than 10 seconds to change gloves! read more

We tried a wrap, lentil soup, açaí bowl and a warm bowl. I can honestly say that everything was super wonderful tasting and so fresh! Absolutely horrible service. They are far from the service Juiceology use to have (The previous place, which I believe had the same owners). At first I thought it was just a matter of time until they are situated and get the hang of it, but I realize they are just incompetent. I been going the past month, almost every day, since they open hoping they get it together, giving them the chance to adjust and recognize that I could be a regular, but things never got better, not one bit. They are SLOW! The girls on the registrar take forever to get transactions done and bag your food. I had seen a few customers saying, "I'll just take it with out it", at the site of their struggle to put things in the paper bags. One of the girls was on her phone texting while she is trying to figure out the machine and giving me change back, making things even slower. Most of the people that work in the neighborhood are in a rush to get food and get back to work, there is no concern for peoples time. The cooks take for ever to prepare the food and the salads are just sad and bland, at least the ones I tried. The same day that girl was on the phone, I happen to walk in during some sort of inspection, I was the only costumer at the moment. The inspector was looking through the ready to go food area/refrigerator shelves and had the staff take all the food down because there where rotten eggs and old sandwiches sitting there from, what the staff said, the day before. I had actually seen those same shell-less boiled eggs sitting there 2 days prior. Gross! Mean while the full staff is congregated around the inspector I am waiting for my food to be prepared. I'm looking at them like, "Is anyone going to take care of my order?". 30 min had past, I finally get my food, I storm out upset that it took so long to prepare an Acai Bowl and on top of it I was reeking of grease for hours after that. The food isn't horrible and had potential to be good considering the options in the neighborhood. The only things I will miss from this place is the Avocado Wrap and Express Shake. Other than that this place needs a lot of work and a more alert staff. Oh! and so much for it being "green" the vegan and vegetarian options are almost non-existent. read more

We had a gift certificate from restaurant.com specifically for this place. So we decided to try it out today. Walked in, told the woman before we ordered, showed her the certificate on the app, and placed an order of about $70 worth of food to take out. When it came time to ring us up, she asked an associate how to ring up the certificate and her associate said "Nah, we don't take those". Obviously we left. Funny thing is that they are still listed on the app as a place to purchase a certificate for. The good news is that we popped into a place I hadn't been to for years and got EPIC takeout and revived an old favorite in our minds! We live very close to this place and are always looking for healthy alternatives but will definitely not be spending our money there. Honestly, if the staff was nicer, we may have just paid and figured out the certificate later, but it seems they don't care if people stay or go. After being turned away from The Juice Shop near MSG, I was so happy to come across this little gem. Onur (the owner) was so polite and listened to my frustrations regarding the other place. I live around the corner from Green Blend and I chose to come here because the food is so fresh. Really a unique store where you can tell the owner puts his heart and soul into it. The açaí bowls are a must, especially the mixed fruit. The breakfast veggie wrap is God sent. The chipotle bowl is such a perfect blend of chicken, quinoa, avocado, beans and tomatoes.
