Loved the owners suggestion for the Spicey Chicken Ciabatta.. delish and it came with this super refreshing kale & ginger salad ... Amazing !!

Avo Campania Panini and Kale Salad (v)

Searched for lunch in the area on Yelp and Green Bliss appeared. Read the reviews and went with the Avo Campania Panini and Kale Salad and the skinny berries smoothie for $22 before tip. I called in my order and picked it up. If you park in the loading/unloading spot on Wilshire, that's the fastest way to run in quickly and grab your food. The actual cafe itself is small but cute. My order was ready upon arrival and the panini tasted great. It was a little pricey for me, but the flavor was VERY good and I might try to recreate it at home, but it won't taste the same, so I'll most likely be back. The Avo Camp panini was filling and healthy and I'd recommend it to anyone that wan't something that's not just a salad for a healthy lunch.

Sit in the courtyard, it's a beautiful little spot. Bevs & food are delicious, the service is friendly. I had a great time here for lunch.

$15 SPICY CHICKEN SANDWICH - comes with spicy kale salad (my favorite!!) the chicken sandwich comes as a hot panini and is very delicious.

PARKING (4/5): There is a covered parking structure with minimal parking off of WILSHIRE AVE. They usually always have parking when I've come, but I don't come at peak hours. SERVICE (3/5): It's an order at the cashier first place, the. Seat yourself and they'll bring your food to you, but you have to take your plates to the designated bins and clean up after yourself. FOOD (4/5): $15 SPICY CHICKEN SANDWICH - comes with the spicy kale salad (my favorite!!) the chicken sandwich comes as a hot panini and is very delicious.

They have variety of vegan options. No frills simple dishes. I go here when I'm in the area and want lighter food options. Staff is always nice. Cute courtyard seating. Easy parking in the parking lot or the structure next to it. Usually get: Veggie bagel Vegan arepas Vegan BLT Vegan crepes

    Breakfast Sandwich with Sausage

5 stars for delicious food and tea! What a semi-hidden gem! The ambiance is homey and eclectic, with seating both indoors and out. The atmosphere is very family owned and I LOVE that. The staff is so nice and attentive. I came this morning and it was busy but not overwhelming. I had the breakfast sandwich with sausage. Warm, perfectly toasted and absolutely delicious. I felt like I was sitting down at my grandmother's kitchen table with my food. Add in my cup of hot chamomile tea and the whole experience was like a warm hug. Looking forward to coming back and trying more on the menu because they have a lot of options including homemade chorizo (um, yum?!) and gluten free flatbread.

Small indoor seating but more in the courtyard!

I feel like this spot is a hidden gem! When I'm in dtf and I want something delicious but also good quality food and in the healthier side this is my go to spot! It's a more casual spot but they have so many options to choose from, there's something for everyone! Can't recommend this place enough.

I love this little gem. I've been coming here for years. The staff is friendly. The food is great! They have several vegan options, and they are very accommodating. It's a small restaurant but they have a beautiful outdoor seating area. It's good for small groups or larger but just call ahead.

    Cute and funny tip jar.

Cute little spot tucked away. I was pleasantly surprised to see how peaceful everything is. There's tons to choose from on the menu and the is attentive. It's giving family owned vibes yet exclusive for coffee shop. Good find.

    Mushroom Flatbread (vegan style)
    Foodie G.

I had the mushroom flatbread, vegan style. I used to get their avo campana sandwich and egg bakes but was just as interested in trying something new on their menu that I wasn't allergic to. I've gotten it twice now, and I have to say it's pretty good. It's surprisingly filling so I had quite the food coma when I finished it all in one sitting today just because I didn't want to lug around a to-go box. I'm going to have a tough time choosing what to order when I return because now Iblike three of the foods here equally. If you don't have allergies like I do, you might have an even harder time deciding what to order because they seem to have a lot of yummy options.

Vegetarian breakfast burrito & flavored iced latte
    Francesca V.

This cafe has a lot of great options/variety if you want something savory or something sweet. I tried the breakfast burrito and an iced coffee - both were tasty. Definitely would come back to try out more items on the menu. Seating is a bit limited and staff are friendly.

Food was delicious! The panini and the french toast was my favorite. Service was good. Loved the outside courtyard area. The nice trees and fountain make it feel so relaxing.

    Ginger P.

This cafe is ok. Their food is nothing special. They're like a 3.5/5 for me but I don't like to give unnecessarily harsh star reviews for small businesses. I feel like it's a not a great value for what you get, but the menu prices aren't too expensive. The seating in the restaurant is limited but there are a couple of seats outside. I do like how they offer German pancakes, which you don't normally see. The fruit on top was fresh. I didn't care for the syrup. Nothing stands out about this cafe.

They were out of cold brew during my visit, so I ordered an iced coffee instead, but it was served a bit lukewarm, which was slightly disappointing. ALWAYS great food & service!…read more We come here semi-regularly and are never disappointed. From the fact that you can check in on Yelp prior to your arrival to avoid a long wait to how amazing their homemade juice mimosa flight is, the experience at Early Bird is always top notch. Every employee there genuinely seems to enjoy their job and are always really attentive, kind and on top of their game. I don't think we've ever had an order messed up or item forgotten in all the times we've gone. Food is always so good as well! We love the rancho Benedict with carnitas and avocado mash. They've even done it on sliced tomato for me instead of an English muffin upon request. We also enjoy the biscuits and gravy. The Elvis waffle with bacon and banana is to die for as is the Brioche French toast. The Real Deal Holyfield Steak & Eggs is the way to go if you're craving something extra hearty. Coffee is piping hot and regularly refilled and OJ is fresh squeezed as well. If you're feeling adventurous, check out their specials board at the front for something cool and unique.

But now that I've kind of moved on from my Bennie phase, I found myself staring at the menu wondering what to order instead. After going back and forth for a while, I decided on the Serrano Chicken Sandwich - and it ended up being a great choice according to our server. It had a really nice spicy kick, and I especially loved the crunchy onions that added extra texture to every bite. I picked the mixed greens salad as my side, though the dressing made it a little too sour for my taste so I couldn't finish it. My boyfriend, who's a big omelette person, ordered the veggie omelette. It was decent, though I do wish they offered more than just 4 omelette options on the menu. Overall, still a good brunch spot with good food and a nice atmosphere.

While the chicken risotto was pricy, I enjoyed the mixed flavors and large portion size. The flavor came from the caper-parmesan beurre blanc sauce. It's a slightly creamy butter sauce with mild sweetness and added flavor from white wine. The capers added a very welcome tangy and savory seasoning to the sauce; they're one of my favorite garnishes. The flavors from the breaded chicken and risotto weren't too strong. However, I recommend parking in their parking lot, in the back. That way, you get a view of the garden before you place your order. It's still nice in the front, very welcoming. You walk through the gate, up the stairs, and through the front door. It's nicely air conditioned inside. Indoor seating looks like someone's dining room. The counter is near the back, on the left hand side. I grabbed a menu to take a look before I ordered. Food items listed on one side of the menu, and so many drink options on the other side. Little overwhelming. Too many choices. Coffee and non-coffee drinks. Although they offer paninis and avocado toast, I ordered a regular spicy pork cupbap ($15) and Dubai chocolate latte, iced ($7.75), paid at the counter, and received a pager. When the pager started buzzing, I went inside to pickup my order. My drink was basically a dessert in a cup. Absolutely delicious. So many wonderful ingredients on top. The spicy pork cupbap is spicy. I mixed it all up like I would any bibimbap. It consisted of white rice, glass noodles, red cabbage, pork, and a perfectly fried egg on top. Delicious. There are so many tables and chairs, all over the place, around every corner: In the main garden, in the garden in front, on both sides of the cafe, on both porches, the one in the back and smaller one in front. There's a large gazebo and umbrellas to shade you from the sun. Fun, whimsical displays throughout the garden, including bird houses, curated displays, and miniature communities. Service was welcoming and efficient. I highly recommend this cafe if you're looking for a nice outdoor garden to eat, drink, and hang out.
