Indeed. Bliss it is. While my friends and I were waiting for our seat at Rialto Cafe across the street, we decided to go grab coffee at Green Bliss. My immediate reaction upon entering Green Bliss was, "oh my geesh i love that blue glass chandelier!" and then I noticed all of the cute little trinkets that other sellers are selling in the shop - things like crocheted earrings, cards, etc... cute stuff! (Confession: it made me want to sell my etsy shop stuff there! hahahahah) They had a variety of interesting drinks, however they were out of some of their specials, and although I wasn't planning on ordering their special mint drink, I was bummed out for my friend that wanted to. Additionally, the drinks were on the expensive side, but I guess you can do that if you're a fancy coffee shop. :P I ordered a vanilla latte, and I loved it! It's my go-to drink, and they made it right. Also, their cashier seemed really out of it - not really a people person, didn't really know what to recommend, seemed unsure of herself, immediately told us what they were out of before we even had a chance to say what we wanted, and spoke sooo quietly. maybe she was new? I love this place. It's right across the street from work so I am there almost everyday. They only sell local coffee roasters, which is really cool. Every time I go there the employees are super kind and energetic, not snobby like other places (cough intelligentsia cough). They do pourover which I love. Their iced coffee is honestly amazing and so is their tea. I actually haven't found anything I don't like. I am not a vegan, nor am I close to it, but their vegan meals are actually pretty good, but I do wish it were cheaper. All in all, my ranking says how I feel about this place. Latte-not bad. Nut milk- it's more like an almond milk. pretty good, wish it were sweetened. "Breakfast for champions"- croissant + tomato + egg; not bad but it is overpriced. But the croissant was really crispy so *twothumbsup* for that I probably wouldn't come back though because the serving size to cost ratio is not very student-friendly. This place is so cute! I wish it was all vegan but unfortunately it's not. On the bright side, they offer many vegan options, including desserts. The scones are so yummy. The avocado pesto panini is delicious! I highly recommend it. My only complaint would be the service. It's not always consistent. The last time I went the food took forever and we were one of 2 tables there. Also my dessert never came out so I had to go ask since the guy was nowhere to be found. First time here for brunch with the sister on a lovely weekday morning, and I have to say, it was a good experience. The ambiance was really cozy and mellow. Definitely enjoyed the scenery with the outdoors seating. Now for the fun part: the FOOD. The sister ordered the curried chickpea panini and peach blossom tea. I debated between the kale salad and the avo-campania panini but ultimately ended up choosing the latter, and with iced coffee. It was definitely a difficult decision (one that kept me up for most of the night prior, as you can imagine), but I'm glad I ended up with the panini because it was just as delicious as everyone claims it to be! The sister and I traded half of our paninis, and even she agreed that though the chickpea panini was good, the avo-campania was much better. There's just something about that combination of mushrooms, avocado, and pesto. Even the multigrain wheat bread was toasted to perfection. Definitely recommend it if you can't decide what to get. If anything, it'll save you from such a debate that I had, haha. As for the iced coffee, this one really hit the spot. I may not be much of a coffee connoisseur, but I do enjoy a good cup of coffee (especially the iced and black variety), and this one was quite enjoyable with my panini. I absolutely love Green Bliss, I eat here pretty regularly. They have a limited menu but still plenty vegan options. Their avo-campania panini is must, and I don't know exactly what they put in their dressing, but the Bliss Salad is amazingly flavorful! I'm not much of a coffee drinker so I usually get their Kale/Ginger Smoothie with in house made almond milk, either that or their hot chocolate with almond milk if I want something warm. For breakfast, I can't stress enough how much I love the Sweet Quesadilla, SO GOOD! I've been to Green Bliss more times that I can count at this point and I'm always recommending it because it's hands down the best little cafe in the area. :) read more

I am so excited to have an organic coffee shop like this in the area!!! Its hard to find really enjoyable coffee and this place has it. And all their other stuff is awesome too. Vegan friendly! they have vegan dishes and cupcakes! They could have more vegan pastry options though. The cupcake is the only one theyve got right now. Everything I have tried there so far has been good. Try the Kale Ginger smoothie!! I get that almost every time im there if Im not in a coffee mood!! The atmosphere is super green minded which is cool. This is the best coffee shop near us that doesn't roast their own beans. They have served Handsome, Coffee Klatch, Rose Parks, and my favorite Verve. You can also buy a bag of beans too. I always call in to see if they have Verve because that sells out pretty quickly, and once I got a free cup of Verve after getting a bag of beans. Their food is good too. If I'm feeling vegan, I like coming here and getting their kale salad. They also had a potato salad that was really great too. The people are nice and helpful. Bought a small chai latte $5 bought a small little cookie almost the length of my ring finger and cost $1.75 Paid almost $7 for two little items. Taste was ALRIGHT, didn't knock my socks or anything. They serve the basics - Iced coffee, drip, americano, espresso, latte, macchiato, etc. But, the quality is great! I'm new to the area and was looking for something unique. Green Bliss is it ! They have a cool location inside an old hôtel. The space breathes it, is détendu (relaxing)... In fact, if a store can capture the essence of morning than Green Bliss has done it. At the back they have courtyard seating : very cool ! As for the coffee and staff it is friendly, not rushed and they have good espresso and cool whole bean offerings for sale that one doesn't often find elsewhere : think Ethiopian, Arabian etc. Check it out ! read more

Let me start off with...I am not vegan. I'm not sure how this cafe matches up with other vegan cafe or restaurants. I ordered the kale salad and the Avo-Campania just because I wanted to try both - i think I would have been satisfied eating either one, but I'm a fatty so I ordered 2 orders for myself. =) Avo-Campania: I really liked the sandwich...it was just the right amount of everything. It had artichoke, mushrooms, and avocado. Nom nom nom. The sandwich came with either a side salad or potato salad. I chose the potato salad since I already ordered the Kale salad. The potato salad was really different...not sure what its mixed with, but if you're feeling adventurous, I would definitely suggest trying the potato salad. Kale salad: i never had kale tasting like this. I thoroughly enjoyed my kale in this salad. It had bits of avocado, cucumber and onions. Delicious. I also ordered the peach blossom tea. It had a really nice aroma to it. I will come back next time for sure to try more things on the menu! read more

I went on a Friday afternoon for a late lunch and as soon as I walked in the atmosphere was cozy, filled with lots of interesting art work. I couldn't believe that I had never been to this place before! Thanks to Yelp that I found this place hidden in Downtown Fullerton. My friend and I shared a mushroom flatbread and avo-campania salad. The mushroom flatbread is a MUST menu. The cheese just melts in your mouth. We sat outside in the patio and felt very relaxed. Next time I wanna go back and try their drink menu and maybe take a book and read out in the patio. The size is fairly small but it was a very unique cafe that attracts people. They could be getting a 5 star if they improve on their customer service. I didn't feel very welcome and the servers weren't very friendly at all. read more

I really liked their BLT (coconut bacon) At first I didn't taste coconut, but after I ate the first half, I could taste the sweetness of it. The salad it came with was NASTY. It seems like they just drenched the salad in oil, the leaves were so slick. I couldn't eat it, it was disgusting. Even though the sandwich was pretty good, the price wasn't. Ten dollars. TEN DOLLARS. It wasn't even a good size! I mean, even seven bucks would've seemed a bit extreme. My friend ordered the curry something. I personally didn't like it, she did. Green Bliss...I was so excited for this place to open. I had been complaining for quite some time that Fullerton needed a coffee shop in DT. Finally, it came! I really wanted it to be good. So, I gave it four stars because it is good! I really like the baked goods and the coffee is done well. It has a relaxed ambiance and I like that I can sit out in the courtyard. The only thing that disappointed at first was the service. One particular worker has been offensive to me on three different occasions. This person is opinionated, aggressive, and rude. I didn't appreciate her trash talking other local businesses in the area and interrogating me on how I wanted to order my food/drink. However, I wanted to like this place so much that I keep coming back. Thankfully, all of the other employees have been incredibly friendly and inviting. Thank you to the ones who make the customers feel like guests! Please let us love Green Bliss by treating us with respect. read more

You know you're in a legit cafe when their wifi is faster than the one you have at home. Other legit features: 50% off on all pastries after 4pm, their entire sandwich menu cares about your health, they use jars as their water cups, their bathroom is so clean that I don't mind sleeping there overnight, etc. Check it out! read more

Went here for the first time this morning for breakfast. I am vegan and my boyfriend eats meat. I had the gluten free Belgian waffle and he had the farmer sandwich. The waffle was good and the plating was pretty, but the only fruit on the plate that would go with a waffle were strawberries. My boyfriend's sandwich was kinda bland and it needed some hot sauce. He had a mocha and I if an iced coffee. Both were decent. Overall, the portions seemed small for the price and neither of us was wowed by the food. Went in here for a quick coffee with some friends. We ordered an ice coffee and a cookie. My friend ordered a latte. We waited awhile and my friends latte came out. We waited even more for the ice coffee. The guy that we ordered from was a tall, white guy, with longer hair pushed back. I didn't understand what was taking a while since it was very slow in the shop. Then another customer comes in and orders the same drink, an ice coffee, and gets it right then and there. We then became irritated. We asked about the drink. The guy just looked at us, plainly, no expression, and said, must have forgot. All we ordered was a coffee and a cookie... And he forgot. Green Bliss offers a welcoming and calming atmosphere for either work or just hang out. I love coming in and getting the Chai Tea latte, it's like no other I've had! I am a huge fan of Chai Tea and have tasted very many Chai Tea lattes, but Green Bliss is by far my favorite. I describe it as refreshing and clean, with aftertastes of green/cool. Most Chai Tea's are very spicy but I find theirs to be light and airy, I love the foam on top! So if you are looking for a great place to getaway and sip on something hot and delicious, I highly recommend Green Bliss. read more

As for my kale salad, it's lots of kale, with some chopped onions, cucumbers, carrots, and avocado. Top with a ginger dressing. There aren't many places that cater to vegetarians in the area, let alone vegans. I had seen this place pop up before on yelp, but I had been a little apprehensive because the menu looked like rabbit food to me. My 50 days of vegetarian gave me the push to finally go here. And I'm actually happy I did. I ordered the avo-campania panini and curried chickpea salad panini...and was pleasantly surprised! Both flavors were absolutely delicious, my favorite being the curried chickpea salad. They load a lot of flavors into a little panini. The best part was you can really taste how fresh the ingredients were. The chickpeas stood out to me because most places use canned chickpeas, but Green Bliss takes it a step further to soak them for hours to keep it fresh.The one downfall is this is more of a lunch place - there is a lack of hot foods. Super friendly staff commented on my book and apologized profusely that their bathroom was out of order. Coffee was reasonably priced and tasted fine for a drip (they have pour over as well, but I was being cheap) served at 5 pm. The seats outside are perfect for a warm spring afternoon in Orange County, with the only downside being the proximity of Harbor and all the crazy traffic that rolls through. read more

Bright interior with natural lighting, simple and modernized interior decors, and most importantly, delicious vegetarian plates (my favorites: CURRIED CHICKPEA SALAD PANINI WITH SMALL GREEN BLISS SALAD & KICKIN' KALE SALAD) and equally amazing drinks! They get it right every time! This little gem is situated in the middle of Downtown Fullerton and I randomly stumbled into this cafe after having brunch across the street at Rialto. What I love about this place is the laid back atmosphere and the friendly service. If you go near closing time, they give away desserts on the house (their scones are to die for)! The only downfall about this place is its early closing time. And for good measure, if you're thinking about becoming an eco-friendly vegetarian, they offer lectures and meetings in the back of the cafe at a specified time and date. read more

I love this place! Love how it is such a cute little cafe with healthy food! I ended up getting the breakfast for champs dish and a vanilla latté. Came in to have breakfast with the girls and ended up talking for hours upon hours. After eating inside we ended up in the little outdoor space behind the cafe. A hip, healthy restaurant in downtown Fullerton, Green Bliss does an A-OK job. I like the food here. Everything on the menu is good. My personal favorite is the Avo Campania or the Kale salad. Their drinks are also good here. My favorite drink being the Kale shake. A few of the things I personally don't like at Green Bliss: Atmosphere - It seems that the inside of Green Bliss is always filled with people that are doing homework on their laptops as opposed to people actually eating food or having a drink. I've never eaten inside and never will. The outside seating in the front is OK but very limited. My suggestion would be to eat in the back courtyard or to take the food home if you don't want to feel crowded. Service - Food has never been out in a quick manner. Always takes a long time. Cashiers and cooks have been inconsistent in quality customer treatment. Sometimes I've felt like an inconvenience to them and other times I've felt that they've been helpful. Just depends. I'd suggest for anyone to try it out if they're looking for a healthy spot in downtown. read more

I had high expectations for this place, but maybe TOO high. The outdoor seating was ADORABLE, especially in the courtyard. The service was efficient and nice. What irked me was the taste of the iced Americano! It was bitter and acidic and NOT what a decent Americano should taste like. Maybe it was an off day? Maybe I should stick with pour-overs/regular coffee? At any rate, I was really disappointed that something as simple as espresso and water tasted so sad.
