Secondly I don't care if the shirt was from Walmart, if we take it to get dry cleaned without a hole and then get it back and the arm of the shirt is ripped with a huge hole that's beyond repair I'd expect an apology or an offer to fix it AT THE VERY LEAST. This was not done. In fact they blamed my husband. We have been in this neighborhood for a long time and will make sure to tell all of our neighbors to never go here. The owner is rude, condescending and completely unprofessional. Do not spend your money here.

I started googling and connected with Maria at Pressed. My savior!! She sent a driver to my house Sunday to pick up my items (jacket, blazer, sweater dress, jump suit, and three dresses). Maria was extremely communicative even asking if I wanted business cards back in my blazer, removed pilling on the jacket, and repairing a small hole on the sweater dress. When the clothes came back to me exactly 24 hours later as promised, I was pleasantly surprised and one happy customer. Prices were comparable to my neighborhood shop if not a few dollars cheaper. When I went in with 2 dresses to get buttons replaced for both of them, the girl at the front who is very young, acted sort of clueless, and said she would have to wait till the manager gets back to see if the buttons were available. Keep in mind it's freezing cold out to commute, so I was leaving my dresses there, not sure if they'd even be able to be taken care of. She said that they would text me if they did not have the buttons. I dropped those dresses off on a Wednesday, the pick up day was assigned to be Saturday. I get a text on Saturday saying that they don't have the buttons. Waiting 3 days to notify me that they did not have the buttons, not professional or considerate to the customer's time at all. It's one thing to not have the buttons in stock and not be able to check for them / see what can be done when the customer comes in, but to make them wait until the pick up day, and only text them on the official pick up day that you do not have the buttons is actually ridiculous and unprofessional. You should at least message or call the customer to make them aware soon after they came in, a day or two after is acceptable. Don't make the customer wait until the actual pick up day, as I thought I would be getting the dresses fixed. Had I known this is going to be this unprofessional, I would've dropped my dresses off elsewhere so they would've been ready for me in time. The other employees are mostly polite enough, but I don't know the name of the very young girl who works there, she was very quiet, and not knowing how to do her job. For dry cleaning I've brought in my fair share of stains on silk and other difficult fabrics and am always pleased with the end result. Also for tailoring I've had a ton of designer skirts and dresses altered from silk to wool. Just today I picked up a Canada Goose jacket that was hemmed and it turned out wonderfully! She stopped by my hotel within a couple of hours to pick up my laundry and returned the clothes back to me folded very nicely, in an immaculate manner less than 24 hours later. An ATM is available on-site so you can withdraw cash and exchange it for coins. The photos online show older white machines where you can still open the lid after starting the wash. The machines currently in use here are different--once the door is closed and the cycle starts, it cannot be reopened until the wash is finished, so be sure everything is inside before starting. Most standard washers cost $5, the larger washer I used was $6.75, and there is an extra-large washer that costs $13. Drying is not free. Dryers cost $2.25 for one hour. All laundry essentials needed to clean your clothes--detergent, fabric softener, and related supplies--are available for purchase. They also sell small snacks, such as chips and candy (Snickers were $1.75). There is a bathroom on-site, and the space appears to be a long-established laundromat that handles a lot of wash-and-fold orders. Customer service was brief and not very upbeat when I arrived. The staff member seemed busy and may have been working alone with a large volume of laundry, which could explain the interaction, but the greeting came across as a bit abrupt. Overall, the laundromat is functional and gets the job done if you're prepared for a cash-only, coin-operated setup, but the experience is very no-frills.
