The food is always awesome!! The staff are great. My ONLY complaint about the Madison Heights location is that it is NOT wheelchair accessible. I wanted to share my love for the place with my dad who is a double amputee in a wheelchair. There was a ramp at the front door, but he was basically forced to sit at the table right in front of the door since the tables and booths where too close for him to wheel between them. When he had to use the bathroom, which are by the back door, he could not fit his wheelchair back there, so he had to go out the front door to the back door, which has a slight step up. If I was not there to help him, he would not have been able to get in that door at all. He was hit by the bathroom door multiple times as he tried to relieve himself and had to, once again, go outside to wheel around the building to get back to the front door to get to our table! read more

I went to the Clinton township location today. I did a dine in order for a large pizza. When done I had 4 pieces left and asked for a box. Well I accidentally left the pizza on the table and returned 5 mins later and was told the pizza had been thrown a way! Really? Ya couldn't hold it somewhere behind the huge bar for 15/20mins etc..? I spoke with the manager Randy....who told me "sorry bro"! You'd have to buy another pizza! I've been coming here for years since a kid. They could have as a courtesy offered to remake me a small pizza to compensate for my loss. Instead the manager Randy was awfully rude calling me "bro" ever other word like I was one of his homies! How unprofessional. What kind of manager talks that way to a customer.....without any apologies and professionalism. When I asked for the owners information he just said his names "TJ" and barely at the business. He just comes and goes and didn't have a time I could reach him. In my top 5 fave pizza in Metro Detroit. Can get crowded inside at certain times. The crust, the sauce, the toppings solid. I usually go round w pepperoni bacon and green peppers. The hamburger and sausage toppings are the only topping disappointments, so I dont order those two anymore. And while the bacon used now is solid, they changed the old bacon I believe due to price. We go often to this location and end up moving to the bar area because more than once at least three times we dealt with a very rude waitress. I've never had an issue here until then. The waitress was Jennifer. The food was great. The environment was perfect. Bartender great. But that waitress has no business working in a restaurant. Located off of busy John R on a corner, standalone building with cramped parking wrapped around. You can enter from the front or rear, the rear is also for take out. Inside is a cramped, dark, old wood, bar and dining room. It can get loud. Four beers on tap. They have unhealthy salads, sides, and other pub food--but the star is pizza. They have different types, but get the Detroit style. A medium thickness, crispy outside but a little soft, slightly tangy sauce. They do it as well as any of the older Detroit pizza places. The waitresses are nice, but they are also quick. Strongly recommend. read more

Also had an extra large original pizza. The dough was not given time to rise. It was a flat translucent color in the middle. In other words, raw. Not acceptable especially for a place that specializes in pizza. The old-fashioned pepperoni, cheese and sauce were outstanding. Overall, $17 got me an amateur pizza. Service was great. We ordered the breadsticks and a medium round vegetarian pizza. The breadsticks are out of this world. Idk what they put on it but I can eat a whole order myself! The pizza is good too. They did not give me a water when i asked for some and they tried charging me. They did not charge my other people. Clearly discriminatory.

First time here and the power went out in the area. We were lucky to already have our food on the table and are pizza with our phone lights. The large salad my wife and I split could have been for 5 or 6. The cheese bread was great and the pizza didn't disappoint. Given the circumstances the staff was great the kids were pretty good. This is your typical dine-in sports bar-like pizza joint. And it is the only dine-in pizza joint for many miles, so they are always busy. But their pizza is not very good. The primary issue I have with their pizza is the cheese they use. It's some sort of white cheese, that is stringy like mozzarella, but does not taste like mozzarella. And it's not brick cheese for sure. The cheese texture is very soft. Even cold, it has a weird soft, mushy texture, and is a bit bland. And they don't skimp, so if you don't like the flavor, you can't minimize it. But if don't mind the cheese, it's just average pizza. Decent amount of toppings. The ham slices are too big to be bite size. The tomatoes are very finely diced. Crust is average too. Antipasto comes with dressing on the side. Small is big enough for 4.
