#1 reason I was hesitant to hire pest control is because of pure laziness. Young men coming to spray pesticide, not caring where they spray, little attention to detail. However my coworker said she heard good things and with a baby on the way, toddler, pets, full time working I really needed some extra assistance outside. I gave them a try! First time I was not home but I'm assuming the job was normal and everything was dry by the time I got home. I see nothing. Second time I was pulling in my driveway with my toddler and groceries. I notice he just finished my entryway. I go up to unlock the door and see my sons pull ups have arrived! However they are now soaked in pesticide!! I pick up the box to check, it drips on my feet and legs. I'm furious! I talk to the young man outside, he claims he did not see it. (Really???)I call a manager he was super nice! Says the boys are trained to move everything. Ok I get that. Maybe a bad day for him? The guy even refunds my pull ups. But honestly I'm not looking for refunds I'm looking for reliable people to do the job I'm paying for.... so after his nice customer service I think I'll continue.... 3rd visit: my husband has installed a ring outside. And guess what? I have an amazon package! My ring records the kid spraying right on my amazon package but thank god he moved my door mat. I snapped a picture to attach in yelp. Also after he finished in the backyard (I swear I heard him spray my sons kiddie pool) but I went out there and saw the spray line go right across my dogs rawhide bone. Gross. I threw it away after snapping picture. It would have taken him a second to move those things. Sure, I could go in my yard every time they are scheduled to come and make sure it's spotless but the odds of me doing this every time is slim. I'm busy, that's why I pay for services. And this service sucks! I suppose if you don't have kids, toys around the yard or animals it might be ok to have these guys but I just cannot and I will not trust them to come to my home anymore and spray. I immediately called Green Mango after the third visit. I was told I would need to pay $199 to cancel because apparently I got some great deal? My last guy I paid $40 bimonthly, these guys I pay twice as much, $80. Screw your lame deal! You are not doing your job, you are endangering my child and pets. Later that day... I received a phone call from the nice manager I spoke to the first time. I was thankful because he knew everything that's been happening. I told him I had to cancel my membership, and he was very understanding. He admitted it was totally their fault and the technicians would be spoken to and I did not need to pay my cancellation fee. I am extremely disappointed with Green Mango. When I first started using them 6 months ago, they were very professional and thorough. The technicians that came to the house seemed knowledgeable and took their time. For the last few months, I have had nothing but problems. We have a bug issue that I have to keep calling about over and over again. They keep having to re-spray and nothing is working, plus, they keep sending these young kids out to service my house. When I saved one of the bugs we were having an issue with to show the technician a few weeks ago, the kid said "ewww... I've never seen a bug that big!". After that kid came, we still had the bug problem. The company promised to send out one of their older, more experienced technicians to respray for the 4th time. My husband was home waiting for him andI was at work. All of a sudden I got a text from the tech saying "sorry I missed you, no one answered". I texted him back within minutes but he said it was too late, he was on to the next house. My husband said he never heard the door, so I checked the cameras, and this kid, not the experienced tech they promised me, literally knocked on the door, waited 11 seconds, and walked away!! He didn't bother ringing the doorbell or even knocking a second time! I can't wait for my contract to end with Green Mango! I already tried to get out last month due to the issues I'm having with them but they won't let me. UPDATE: Despite the message below from "Aubree", she has yet to contact me by phone despite me leaving her my contact info. I have also called Green Mango daily and left messages to have a manager call me back, yet no one has! They obviously don't really care about their customer's concerns!! UPDATE #2: Aubree you need to speak to Champagne in your office. She told me about the issue that the manager had and so each day I called, I left my work phone number with her, which changes every day depending on what area I am working in, but I updated her every day with my work phone number, even though I do not have a robo-killer on my phone. At this point I don't even want to talk to Green Mango any more. I will let other people decide in the future if they want to risk having the issues that I have had and sign a contract that they can't get out of. I only have 1 more month left in my contract. It's not a matter of me not wanting to pay, in fact, I will pay the fee, but I just don't want Green Mango back at my house. read more

We've been with Green Mango since 2018. Typical service is amazing, techs very thorough and friendly and always call beforehand with notice, which is really nice. Before they leave, they usually leave you with an info packet with how much they sprayed, etc. Well, times must be tough. No call ahead. The tech was at our home for MAYBE 15 minutes, which is probably 20 minutes shy of any usual tech who does the job. Outside cobwebs not taken care of and we ALWAYS have the inside sprayed and moved things away from the wall so it could be sprayed properly. The tech sprayed the area rug in front of the couch (yes, the rug), but not the island in the kitchen and then when I asked if he'd gotten to everything ok (I had walked to another room briefly), he said "yes." He didn't, we have cameras. I hate being lied too. He sprayed about 3 places inside. Oh, and no info packet afterwards. I get it, costs are rising so everyone's gotta cut corners and its tough to keep employees. I don't need a info packet at the end anymore, send an email maybe? It'll cut cost. BUT the "service" we just got on Tuesday was pretty crappy. read more

I've always been pleased with the staff and service who have come to my home but I believe it is entirely inappropriate to send a corporate request to tip their staff! They spend a maximum of 15 to 20 minutes @ my home salaried by you. TIP= To Insure Proper Service is the least expected outcome each visit. Asking for tips makes me wonder if you are paying less than competitive salaries. I like your company but asking to tip, in my opinion, is unprofessional and looks cheap. I heard about these guys on the radio from Johnjay and Rich. Don't believe everything you hear on the radio. The pro: you don't have to spray or worry about doing it yourself. The con: overpriced, 3 year contract, most scheduled appointment happens during the cooler weather where bugs and pest aren't usually a problem. What I am mostly not happy about is that they try to avoid coming out to spray your home during the hottest months which is the time when pest are most active. And during the winter and spring months when it's cooler they schedule the sprays like every month. Seriously?! We're paying you a huge chunk of money so that you can do your job conveniently at our expense?! I am so fed up! Go buy your own sprayer bottle and get the same grade chemicals that'll last you a whole year at a fraction of the cost these guys are charging. read more

They are a wonderful company. If you ever have an issue and want them even sooner they're right there for you. Their customer service is wonderful they try to fit you in right away. They give you a reminder a few days before. The technician calls you when he's on his way. All the technicians have been wonderful. But our technician today went above and beyond. His name is Dylan. He was a wonderful young man very polite and very respectful. He listen to me with full eyes and went above and beyond to make sure that everything I requested was done. He then came to the door to make sure everything was good. We have had way less problems with bugs ever since using them. I highly recommend them. Plus they use products that are safe for your pets. Green Mango has serviced my home for 3 years and we are very happy. Scorpions are the main issue around our community. The service men who've taken care of our home have always been nice, clean, prepared, and will do what is asked. That includes being mindful of the small animals in the house, not laying too much powder around the door threshold, due to it sometimes blowing into the house etc. I have always received text, call or email confirmations as well for the appointment, which have been rescheduled from time to time and they are always easy to work with. I've had green mango for a while, I've been happy with them, until now. And I still have a year on my contract. Their claim is that if you're having a problem between services (bimonthly) they'll come out to service again at no charge. This is very misleading. The techs tell you to wait 30 days from a service, but then when you call at 6 weeks they charge you for your next bi monthly. 6 weeks is not the same as 8 weeks. And it should be a free service before 8 weeks is up. It's a scam, and hopefully their customers are catching on because I used to think they were about customer service but now they're just about the buck. We have had green mango for over a year and unfortunately they have not been able to deliver results. We live in an area that backs up to a desert wash and is adjacent to the desert, so scorpions are an issue. In the year we had green mango there wasn't much activity for the first 6 months. However, over the last 6 months I have seen multiple scorpions in the house along with multiple spiders and those little beetles. I now walk around at night in fear and always with a black light, it sucks, After a service a few months ago I noticed they did not knock down a large spider web on the patio furniture, so they sent a nice gentleman out to do a free re-service. I asked why I was seeing so much activity still and he said because I back up to the wash I really had to take it upon myself to go back and find/kill scorpions frequently. I kind of understood that but thought to myself "isn't this why you guys come out and do your thing?" Anyway, over the next few months after the re-service I continued to see spiders inside and scorpions outside. Sometimes the scorpions were dead and sometimes they were alive, not sure why. Over the past two weeks I saw two live and well scorpions in the house. One I spotted on the kitchen countertop and the other was on the carpet in the walkway of our bedroom!!!! Having a small child at crawling age this is entirely unacceptable. I called to cancel so I could try a different pest service and they transferred me to their customer retention person. She was very nice and said she was confident that they could solve the issue, and that they would send a field supervisor out to my place. However, after seeing two scorpions in two weeks I was understandably done with this company. We kept talking and she eventually said something along the lines of "you've only seen two scorpions in the house in two weeks? That's nothing! Some people have way more!" I'm sorry but I prefer to have zero scorpions in the house forever, which is why I have a bug company that supposedly "guarantees no scorpions". And after not living up to their guarantee, I asked if they could waive the $149 cancellation fee due to my unfortunate experience and the lack of results, but they said no and got me for the $149 on the way out. If you have small children or don't want to have scorpions in your house, I would highly recommend you go with a different pest company. read more

After being charged $250 and told we DONT have a beehive, we later found that our wall was entirely colonated by bees! To come back out they charged another $250 and poisoned the hive. Later, the hive was recolonated and they would not gaurantee the end of the hive and charged an additional $250! These folks did not do a thorough inspection. Look at the hive that was found in the pictures after we were told we DONT have a beehive. $750 total that should have been fixed on the first visit. read more

My technician showed up wearing a mask and standing respectfully back from my door. He offered to do the interior service, but due to previous excellent treatments, we have not seen any pest activity indoors, so I declined. He asked what my concerns were and immediately started to address them, knocking down cobwebs and completing the full exterior treatment. He checked back with me when he finished. We have had green mango for a few years now and service has been decent up until today. I always get a call and/or text that service is a specific date (this time I did not), they always leave a card saying what and how much they used along with the technicians name (again this time I did not), I spoke to him briefly to ask him to treat the garage and he agreed but never actually treated it. The sticky pads covered with crickets that they put in our garage on both ends of the door last time are still there and covered with crickets, the white dust they put at entry ways and what not was not done this time either. I know they have raised the price a bit too which is fine but not if service goes in the opposite direction. I'm disappointed to say the least. read more

They pride themselves on "satisfaction guaranteed" and customer service, but that was not our experience at all. After months of dealing with them, we still have bugs inside and outside. I hired them a year ago great customer service and thorough explanation of products etc. They replaced another pest control company that was unable to control fire ant problem I had in back yard. The first year was great no problems this year 2, they have been out 3-times between service appointments I'm having fire ant issue again, tech said they needed to apply a product in the morning to control the issue, no one showed and no applications were done in morning, I called they representative explained over her poor quality headset that made listening difficult, that they can't control fire ants as they code from behind my home, interesting year one they could now tgey can't', they were fire(d) due to ants being a huge issue again. read more

Our family has been a Green Mango customer for a long time. Last week we had a bad experience. The person that came and sprayed made a mess. We are use to the typical white powder on the corner of the doors and underneath the doormats. This time it looked like milk was poured on our front porch and backyard. The house was sprayed last Friday. Due to a holiday weekend I was informed that a supervisor would not reach out to me till Tuesday. Today is Tuesday. I called Green Mango to speak to a supervisor. I never received a call back. I requested for the mess to be cleaned up and re sprayed. I was able to make a appointment. I have been using green mango going on my third year. My neighborhood used them and came at high recommendation for my scorpion problem at move in. The initial year or so was great. The techs were not only consistent, but personable and professional and took their time. However, something happened, and now the service keeps getting worse and worse. 1. The techs- I would say it's rare to get a tech that really takes the time to properly service the inside and outside of my home for scorpions. This last one spent about ten minutes rushing through the process and was extremely rude and short with me like it was a bother for him to even be here at all. I've even had one tech quickly spray the inside and leave without servicing the outside or leaving a receipt. One bad service, even here and there, is forgivable. But when every single one seems to get worse, it's just unacceptable. Idk if they hire whomever, or just can't hold an employee, but every day is a new person, who just gives worse and worse service. Not to mention the rudeness in how they all seem to speak to their customers. Management did come out for a re-service and he was INCREDIBLE. Immediately apologizing looking at the work that was done and saying this is in no way up to green mango's standards. I WISH he, or someone like him, would be the quality you received, because I would RAVE to anyone about Green Mango if they maintained those standards. He walked me through everywhere the techs should be servicing and spent probably half and hour or more thoroughly protecting the home. Had they been putting the powder in doorways they promote in the service? No. Had they properly inspected and treated the problem areas of the property? No. So many missed treatments and spots that should be looked over. Have I been able to get a tech to give the same treatment since? Not even close. I can see all the steps they miss, and when I point them out, it's always an excuse as to why I don't know what I'm talking about. The traps- I have asked techs to properly fold the traps into the box like they are meant to be laid because my dogs have stepped on them while they're open, despite my carefulness. Leaving them open also makes them get covered in dust, soot, leaves, etc. The techs refuse. They will go MONTHS without changing out the traps, despite being heavily soiled, and when I've asked to switch them out I was told, "they're too expensive and cost green mango too much money to warrant replacement." And suggested I get my own and change them myself. "These are $30 a box. I'm not wasting money to give you new ones." The traps probably hadn't been replaced in four months. Communication: I have never once received a service window or curtesy call on when the techs will show up, despite my continuance of asking. With dogs and a WFH meeting schedule, I'm happy to be flexible of whatever time is best for them. I'd just like a heads up to prepare. If I call and get a window of time myself, it's usually hours after that window they actually arrive. The entire neighborhood is either looking to switch or have switched, and I will be doing the same. read more

Green Mango used to be a good service. I have recently started tracking the work of the technicians because I felt there have been pest everywhere and never going down. The last two times it looked as if work had not been done. I asked about the ant problem we have and the tech said he didn't see any evidence of ants. He some how missed the ant hill at the gate the one in the front yard and the lines of ants on our back porch. I called to get a refund they said they could not and there was no notes from the last technician that came out. So we switched to Truly Nolen that came out and we have not seen a single bug since and no ants. read more

I've heard Green Mango advertised on the radio more than every other pest company combined. So... what any capitalist pig would do... I decided to give them a try. My father-in-law has a bad scorpion problem so I decided to order him the service. After all, he was paying Orkin and there was no change in his scorpion levels. I really wanted to get him GM and show him that Orkin really did suck. So I called on Thursday to sign up. Nice people on the phone - plenty informative. Since this was somewhat of a surprise I needed the first service to be on a Saturday so that my girl could go over and be there to make sure someone was home. She was at her dad's house all day. No call. No show. I emailed them and canceled. They called my wife (also on the account) and said that someone showed up but nobody was there. Total BS. When I signed up I gave them THREE phone numbers - my father-in-law (since it was his property), my wife, and myself (since I was footing the bill). Don't pull that bologna that you showed up and couldn't find anyone. You have no excuse like that when you have three people to call... So, onto the next company! NOTE: Since I've canceled the company has called my wife and her father but not me to discuss what is going on. Both of these names were added to the account only in the event that they couldn't get a hold of me. I am deeply saddened that they don't seem to know who to contact on an account. Living at the base of South Mountain, I was horrified at the thought of scorpions but Green Mango has kept them away for the last 8 months!!! Their chemicals are also safer than the others'. My gf moved out here and I came to visit one weekend and she said this service is going to come they need someone there so I said ok ask about this business saw some videos of them they got nike gear on saw what they do in the video said it take 45 minutes after watching the guy pulls up just sprayed around the house a lil in the garage and since it the first time they do the inside all together is was 15 minutes saw him walk in the house and 2 minutes laters walk out I'm like dam that was fast he did swipe with the broomstick for webs or anything If I was there to watch this guy do a job like this I called my gf and told what I saw I called her when he showed up and called when he left 15 minutes wow and the next day there was a live scorpion in the garage after he claimed he did everything she have a 3year old boy that is special and paid for this not to happen and it happened what if it was your kids.
