Green Mango has not delivered on what they promised! We had been working with another pest control company over the past 14 years, but I stopped by the Green Mango booth at the Maricopa County Home show to hear their pitch. The Green Mango representative that I spoke to said he was very familiar with my prior company because he had worked there, and went on to explain that Green Mango provides a more extensive service because they would treat the whole yard every time, not just the perimeter fence, around the exterior of the house and the interior baseboards. He explained that Green Mango spreads granules to cover the whole yard between the fence and house and do so every visit. On that basis I signed up and discontinued my service with my prior company. Fast forward to the first Green Mango visit. The technician was polite and sprayed the fence, around the house perimeter and the interior baseboards. As he was getting ready to leave I asked about the promised granules and he said they never apply granules and don't even carry them on the truck. He tried to call the office to discuss but nobody was available to talk to. He promised to have someone call me to discuss. We received a voicemail from a Green Mango representative who said he wanted to discuss the issue and left a number for me to call. We've called multiple times over the past 1.5 weeks and left numerous messages, but have received no return calls. Today I sent an email to Green Mango telling them to cancel my service and magically they were able to call me back in 10 minutes. The representative proceeded to tell me that the technician was wrong and that they apply granules "upon request". Why would I have to request what was promised? This has been the most convenient service I've scheduled in AZ. They were able to get someone out to my house very fast. The customer service representative was super kind and considerate and really put my needs before anything else. My issues weren't that bad but she still made me feel like the most important customer. The gentleman who came out explained everything in depth and was very kind. He took extra time to ensure the job was done to the highest quality. Extremely content with my experience and I will now be a life long customer. We have used Green Mango Pest Control for four years now. They are great for keeping scorpions away. I live near farms and, therefore, this is a big issue at first. However, I have not had any problems with scorpions since using Green Mango Pest Control. Recently though, we had roof rats in our walls. I could hear noise and movement in the walls and under my sunken tub. I was less than impressed with Green Mango with rodent control. First, they sent a technician who was brand new and did not know what he was doing. The technician did not even check the attic. He set up three traps in the backyard and did not give any further instructions or updates. A month later, my husband and I were still hearing noises from the walls. I called back and this time they sent a field manager. Hector was great and did know a lot about roof rats. He suggested to trim the palms touching our roof. Hector also got up into the attic. He saw activity and rat droppings. He set traps and came back in one week to check up on the traps. We have not heard noises since. If you do use them for rodent control, I suggest asking for a field manager only, especially Hector. read more

If I could give a 100 stars for this company I would!! Prior to having our little one, we had all kinds of scorpions, black widows and other creepy crawlies in our home. Since we were renting we never really wanted to invest in anything long term, since we weren't planning on staying there for very long. But when we had our little one, it was time to call the big guns and after hearing family and friends rave about Green Mango we decided to give them a try. Boy oh boy were we impressed. Not only were they effective, but safe and that was super important considering we had a newborn in the home. Cut to 18 months later (a year and a half to you non parents out there) we have yet to encounter a single creepy crawly in our home. Now, not only do their products work but let me take a moment to praise their customer service. In the year and a half that I have been a customer I have consistently received STELLAR customer service. The good: Solid company overall. I hired them to get rid of bugs and scorpions and there is absolutely no doubt that they have done that. I bought a house and had maybe 4-5 scorpions a week before I called GM (including one in my bed, which stung me...screw that). Literally have not even seen one since, about a year and a half. Their system is very effective. The "meh": My biggest "con" about them, in contrary to what most people say about them scheduling sprays closer to 6 weeks rather than 8, they have gone a few months without servicing my house before. This has happened a couple times now. The first time I called after about 2.5 months and they said their scheduling system failed or something and they still hadn't quite recovered. Fair enough. However, has happened since then as well. Not quite sure why this is, but, not a huge deal as it doesn't seem to have an effect on the bugs. read more

I canceled my service with them when we moved a year ago and decided to go without pest control for a while. After listing to Jon Jay and Rich talk about these guys for years I thought it time to give them a call. When I called it went to an automated recording, but it was very user friendly. After about 10 minutes they called me back and scheduled an appointment that was convenient to my schedule. The service tech- Austin was a true professional. Once I found out he was an Army veteran it made perfect sense to me. Excellent at explaining what he was going to do, and what the end result would be. Consumers with kids and pets beware. It doesn't seem to matter who you talk to at the corporate office they simply don't care about the rules of your property. They don't text or email you to let you know they will be coming onto your property despite adding it to your account notes 5-6 times. The pricing seems to never be consistent but the service remains the same. I feel like I'm babysitting these people. They show up unannounced and don't give a heads up on arrival. I've had to call them back to retreat more than once so the mosquito treatment is just not that effective mostly due to lack of proper application. They make it very clear they do not stand by their work or guarantee it either. Simply saying mosquitos fly so how can we control them? Well maybe don't offer the service then? You can't get a call back when entire areas of the property went untreated after their last surprise visit. The entire year last year I'd be going 45+ days between monthly service and I'd have to call them to find out what's going on then it's another week plus before they are in my area. "Management" is a joke here no acts on anything you bring to their attention and it's never the same people who claim to be managers. As a parent company, they have seriously fallen down I used to utilize coconut cleaners as well and the quality of their service went completely south after merging with green mango, and I have to tell you as a very busy real estate agent in Arizona. you won't catch me referring them out again which I used to a lot. they don't value customers or their homes and they work their technicians to the bone in the summertime. The issue is at the top. There's 20+ other companies in the valley that offer the same service which will be getting all my future business and my clients as well. Don't waste your time or money on this! Unfortunately, I didn't check Yelp reviews until after I signed a contract but immediately brought up my concerns to them after seeing the reoccurring complaints, and now I am one of them. We had a technician break two of our windows accidentally and I have spent the past month leaving messages and sending emails to try to get reimbursed for these costs. Everyone is nice and says a manager will call me ......and I have gotten zero follow up. They really need to focus on the customers--it's painfully Obvious they do not truly care or have the manpower for this. Also, they are more expensive than our last company. I have had a few ongoing issues with Green Mango. They give a time that they will be out so I make sure I am home to let them in the back yard and inside the house to spray for bugs. The past few times they haven't shown up when they say they will. The poor guy they sent out had a different time than we had for our service so he showed up and luckily was kind enough to wait for 20 mins for me to rush back home. Mind you, him and I had two different service times so it was neither the employees fault or my own. This past week a technician showed up with no notice. No text or anything and had no prior notice from green mango. Reached out to green mango via e-mail days ago and no response. It's frustrating when you pay for a service and constantly having a legitimate issue, that has been addressed multiple times. The lack of communication is a serious issue. read more

Pretty disappointed in what I have seen of this company so far. We entered a one-year contract with them a few months ago and are already having issues. I have found multiple live scorpions in our house over the last month. Per our contract, Green Mango agrees to come out and do a re-service if there are life pests found in between the bi monthly services. However, there have now been two instances in which they were supposed to come out for the re-service and failed to show up. After spending this past Saturday waiting at home and putting errands off so that I was home and they could do an interior spray, several hours go by before I have to reach out and ask if someone is still coming. I am then and only then told that the technician called in that morning and that they had texted me at 8:30 AM to let me know they would no longer be servicing me today. Of course, there was no such text message, and I was left waiting around all day for no reason. They told me the next available appointment for re-service was the following Saturday. Now, keep in mind, when people find live scorpions in their home, especially those with vulnerable pets or children, they are probably going to want to re-service sooner than a week away. Besides that, we had plans to go out of town over the weekend, and because we are needing an interior spray, I told them that the weekend would not be good for us. Then the rep tells me oh, we actually have something on Thursday the 3rd. I told her OK I would make sure someone is home and then I never heard back. I texted late last night to confirm they were still coming and then I received a text message this morning saying that their technician again called out and would not be servicing our home today. They asked if they could come this Saturday instead. I again reminded them that we would be out of town and expressed my frustration that this is the second time they've rescheduled. I told them that I could try to have a family friend waiting at the house in order to allow both an interior and exterior spray... but with how things have been, I wonder if my friend will go out of their way to be stood up again. Pretty annoying, huh? But something I am willing to do to ensure we get a proper re-service. Now, the response I received was what really got me. They could've responded with an apology or an explanation of what's going on or at least something to indicate that they feel any sort of empathy for the added frustration. Instead, all I received is a message back saying they would be coming out on Saturday. Terrible customer service and complete disregard for their clients. Pretty unreliable company, as far as I can tell. At this point, unless they step up their game up and become more reliable, we will not be renewing our contract for another year. I get it, things happen. But when things become a pattern, it's no longer coincidence. read more

Warning a Bi-monthly schedule and payment is not every other month with this company. Without notice, they change it to every 6 weeks. Which nets Green Mango an extra $200+ dollars a year. The first time I caught them they said it was a mistake and took care of the bill. When I caught them this time, they said it was their practice to service and bill every 6 weeks. Still making me responsible for the bill even though they just service me 5.5 weeks ago. Green Mango is one of the most expensive pest control services around and to make things worse they are very deceptive. read more
