Terribly run company. Two stars because I don't see bugs anymore, but they are unreliable and inconsistent. I've had 3 times where a tech didn't show up, while I waited at home all day. Our area has a horrible scorpion problem (due to a lot of recent construction) and since green mango has been coming out we rarely see them. Very disappointed. This company did a thorough initial sell and the first visit seemed like they were a good decision to leave another Valley pest control company that we had used for over 15 years. We'll likely go back. The Mango tech comes out and does a sprint through the yard. I timed a recent visit at 9 minutes from truck parking to leaving. Last straw that broke the camel's back here was that on their very last visit... the tech performed his "annual' termite inspection. He told my wife that we had an active termite infestation and that if we acted fast, that he was "authorized" to cut the cost of a treatment to just $300 down with a 99$ fee per month for the next 12 months. That's $1,500! He then reached out to my wife a few more times with used car salesman pressure tactics saying that his truck would only be in the area this week so we'd have to act fast to get that "deal". We we got a second opinion referred to us from a family friend who does home inspections. Guess what? There is NO ACTIVE TERMITE activity on our property. He saw one single termite tube stain that the other tech saw and explained that it shows there was a termite at some point but that there was no current activity. We could also see that on our neighbor's property there were several tube stains that appeared to have been treated at some point and were also not active. Our homes aren't that far apart so it's quite likely that the neighbor's issue had resulted in the single old tube stain on our home and that when they treated the issue it killed them off. Here's where it get's even more reprehensible. I'm currently unemployed. My wife explained this to the tech and he still put on the full court pressure to scare her into believing we needed to move fast, pay money we didn't have to correct a problem that didn't exist! I'm leaving Green Mango first thing on Monday morning and if you are looking for a trustworthy company to partner with for your pest control, then I would encourage you to look somewhere else. read more

Appointments should be scheduled at least 72 hours in advance, I keep getting notified 24 hours before service and that is not enough time for me to make arraignments for my pets. Green Mango"s answer is just unlock the gate I don't have to be home. I pay for full service that includes interior. I end up having to call and change appointment for a later date. read more

I have been with Green Mango for 2 years. Had a retreat service performed today due to scorpions. Major kudos to technician Kyle C. He was genuinely concerned about why a retreat was needed, took time to do a thorough walk thru around the property with me so I could point out some trouble spots, listened to and answered my questions, took care of my home as if it was his own so much so that he has nw been made my preferred technician for future treatment appointments. He is an asset to Green Mango along with Tonya and others for whom I have communicated with. This company takes pest control seriously. read more

I don't usually write reviews, but I really wanted to in this case. I have used Green Mango for a few years. I have been quite satisfied. I had to put a hold on service a few weeks ago, due to some financial surprises......apparently, the bugs found out and came back with vengeance. I called last Thursday to report TWO scorpions in the house and several black widows, outside the house. I will be honest and say that the initial girl that I talked to was not helpful at all, but rather u helpful, and told me some one could come out in over a week. when I asked to speak to a manager, she said she would send a message to customer service and they would call me Monday . I told her I have a disabled hubby and needed service sooner. she would not budge, so I hung up, very frustrated. I called back to the exact same number, asked to speak to a manager or supervisor. I IMMEDIATELY was connected to a very nice gentleman that listened to my frustration and said, " Let me make a few calls to my field managers and see what I can do". maybe a full minute later, he returned and said Stephen D , would come out Monday (today) for service, between 1-3pm. He literally rang my doorbell at 1pm. He was professional, yet very friendly and courteous. He took care of every room inside and redid areas outside. I totally appreciate the great customer service and will use GreenMango for years to come. read more

I have used Green Mango as my pest control service for a little over a year now, they were great in the beginning and then the last 2 appointments were 3 months in between which I'm supposed to have service every other month. I was about to cancel and give them a bad review but decided to call first. I got a nice young lady on the phone who apologized and we came to an agreement on what to do to rectify the situation. They've always been here when they said the would except for those months of having no one contact me for service. So after writing this review they came to spray inside and outside, a week ago I got stung on the neck by a scorpion with pain all over my body. Now I'm not able to reach anyone by phone and think I will just go with another company now. read more

I live in Gilbert and I've been using Green Mango for about 2 years now with no problems until recently. The past several months I've been noticing increased scorpion activity IN my home. I've contacted them before about this and it turns out that I was due for service. I was scheduled for a few days from the time I contacted them and no one showed up for my appointment day. Since the office closes at 4, I left a message and they told me the next day that they were having scheduling issues and would get to me the following the day. A technician came out and sprayed both inside and outside of my home - no problem. Now, in the past two week... SIX scorpions in my home. I have very curious dogs and I also walk around barefoot... I asked Green Mango to come spray again. This time, they did not schedule me for a bi-monthly service. I am currently 3 months out from my service in April. When I messaged about the increased activity, they scheduled me for 7/14 - today. And yet again, no one has shown up and it is after their business hours so I am not able to contact anyone until tomorrow to figure out why this has happened AGAIN! If you want reliable service, I suggest doing it yourself like I will be from now on or looking into a different company. read more

Saw green mango on Instagram, and decided to give them a try. They came out as they said they would, and the gentleman who came was very nice. However, while they did spray and put two glue traps down, they did not look for nor close any openings, so our problem continues. We had another pest control company come out who pulled out the refrigerator pulled out the oven pulled out the washer and dryer and closed any openings that there were. Overall, green mango was not terrible, but they weren't great either. read more

I went with GM for a year and I was nothing but disappointed! My first incident, they had cancelled my appt and given me no notification of this, then when scheduling, they refused to give me a time when they would come to my house and spray the inside. I work and can't be home all day nor can I take a day off every month for their service, but they advise giving you a time is not their practice. Twice I had them spray and before the two months were up, I found a scorpion, this was on two different occasions, both times they "scheduled me" for a few days later. The scorpions were found INSIDE my house. The second time my daughter got stung because of their incompetence. I ended my service due to the fact that they AGAIN did not schedule a service with me and I wasn't home when they came to spray. I always sprayed inside and outside, this time they chose to spray the outside and they skipped the inside due to me not being home, and since they didn't schedule with me, there was not going to be anyone home. One of the many times they chose to work my schedule at their convenience and not communicate with me. They then tried to charge me, I only knew they came out because I found a bill in the backyard, and I barely ever go back there. I asked them to cancel my service with them and told them they had no right to charge me because I didn't schedule this appt. they then told me that they wouldn't cancel their service agreement with me until I paid for the service. I wrote a detailed message and still insisted. The new service I have even told me that Green mango has been fined for falsely claiming to use clean products and this crap is not clean or healthy for people to be used in the home! They are horrible and I will NEVER go back to them again! Oh! When I moved in to this home they told me I had "German cockroaches" and they were nearly impossible to get rid of. They said I had to do this and that, etc etc. My mother researched and found that we could slice up prices of a Spanish soap called "Lirio" as well as bay leaves, and they would go away. Since we spread this soap throughout the house (and leaves throughout the kitchen), we have never seen another roach! We also learned since the last incident where my daughter was stung, that scorpions don't like lavender! Green mango is not professional and they have horrible service across the board! I've since switched and have not seen a single scorpion! Saw them throughout the time I was with GM and I no longer have my home sprayed. Makes you wonder why I saw scorpions various times throughout the year when I was with GM and 6 months with the new guys and nothing. Hmmm.... read more

We had already waited an extra 3 weeks for this appointment The tech was suppose to set 3 Bait traps, which he did not because he ran out of them and later called the home office to find out the guy n charge of handing out the traps was gone for the day. This meant that we have to reschedule again another appointment for the 3 Bait traps. My technician did a decent job on regular service of our Queen Creek house., however it would have been better had he not knocked over my Landscaping light in the front yard. I had to repair and reinstall the landscape light. Also the Landscaping rocks were moved/kicked on to the pavers. It would be great if they can leave everything in order the way they found it! I usually expect Green Mango to give us 4 to 5 star service, I was pretty disappointed!!!!! read more

I've had green mango for about 3 years now and they do an excellent job with keeping the bugs and scorpions away, however I have experienced awful communication skills From the company. I've left multiple messages and talked to several receptionists about informing me before I will have service and when a technician will arrive. It seems like not a single technician gets those messages because I have the same complaints after almost every service. It gets frustrating when you have dogs and kids and want to ensure your yard Is picked up of all their toys before it is sprayed with Pesticides. And please don't ever to use their rodent control because that was a disaster on its own and I don't enough time or energy to write a novel. I ended up being refunded for that service. I'm sure I'll reach my breaking point soon and will be looking for a new service. read more

Contacted Green Mango on 9/8 received a call probably 5 minutes after I requested a quote. Edgar came out this morning (9/10) sprayed the whole exterior/interior AND got rid of spider webs/dust build up. Just used them for an initial spray and Edgar always kept me informed of what he was spraying/where he was spraying it. Ignore the reviews of people who complain about contracts. If you don't wanna be in a contract then don't enter one. read more

We have had green mango for 2 1/2 years. great service, great techs. However we saw 2 scorpions and had a recall. The tech came and saw rayed our patio and the rocks along perimeter of view fence. Said he doubled the concentration. I ask about our 82# golden and he said an hour and when it was dry. we kept her off of it for 3 hours. Within 6 hours of being on patio she was very sick. She was vomiting, eating grass frantically and gulping, licking her lips over and over. Frantic. We called our vet and he encouraged us to keep an eye on her, maybe she ate a lizard. By the second day she was so sick. Took her to our vet. He hydrated her, gave her a shot of anti nausea medicine. And did all the standard test of heart, lungs, bloodwork. she responded to the nausea med and began to settle. We picked her up and brought her home. She slept for several hours, still not well. That night our friend brought her 10# poodle to stay with us. The next morning she was so sick with the same symptoms. Not a coincidence. She has spent 2 nights at emergency hospital. Now home but frantically licking her paws. I washed her paws and we hosed down the patio and rocks. Just want to know if anyone else had this experience. read more

After tons of recommendations, I finally called these guys. For 18 months, I was with another company that came out monthly. I swear the former company must have been using water. I still saw crickets and scorpions. The scorpions were either dead or alive 50/50. Saw 1 like every 4 weeks or so; wasn't sleeping. The crickets I'd see inside as soon as dusk came. Tons outside. I would wake in the morning in summer and find 2-3 dead bugs inside daily. I just thought "that's Arizona". Finally, I asked someone after they recommended green mango, "how often have you seen scorpions since?" They said "once in the beginning and it's been 13 months with no sightings". So I gave Mango a call. Nathan was the tech who did the first treatment. Our property is a little less than an acre. He was very thorough and took the time to do entire property. He did the fence and "focused on fruit and palm trees". They told me to expect some increase in activity over the next 30 days. But, thankfully nothing. I requested Nathan again. He focused on the back wall and plants, treated inside. After those 2 initial, the service is every other month on outside. They will do inside at anytime you request. For my 3rd treatment, I did request inside because I had become so paranoid from the previous pest control service. I'm not sure who this tech was..he didn't spend as much time but 1) I'm Not sure if protocol changes after the initial and 2) I still haven't seen any. It's now almost 6 months and I've seen no creatures!! And it was peak season for the bugs too. Knock on wood!! I'll definitely renew. Their service is bimonthly after the initial. The price is comparable to a monthly service if I calculate the 6 month altogether. The desk staff is busy but very friendly. My dogs were outside twice and they rescheduled me at no charge. The second time they were able to come back same day. Highly recommend! read more

After using this company for years, I will NEVER allow them on my property again! The technician left poison packets open in my yard, left my hose detached from the faucet running slowly, but worst of all, he propped open our side gate knowing it lead to our dog door and they got out after he left. My neighbors found them on the front driveway and thank God it wasn't overly hot today! Cancelling immediately with negligence like this, I can find better service. read more

This will be the first time ive come back to yelp to update a review.. My scheduled service was today & unfortunately I am very disappointed. I got a call from Cody at 8:30am to let me know he was about 20-30 minutes away, at 9:37 I give him a call back to make sure he is okay since he should have been here by now, he answers & sounds so bothered by my call, he tells me he didn't find my address & he would let the office know to call me to reschedule WHO BAILS ON A JOB like that!? He didnt call to ask for directions or even have the decency to let me know he wasn't coming & I shouldn't continue to wait for him. I immediately called the Chandler location & got No answer I ask for a call back & proceed to call the Gilbert location again no answer.. Its about to be 8pm & I havent heard from them. This company clearly does not value or care for customers once they sign a contract, of course the first call and first service is good its just to make you sign a 2 year contract! This is absolutely disgusting and ridiculous I absolutely refuse to give my business to a company who can't be reliable and can't answer a phone call or even return one. read more

I have really struggled to get them to show up when they originally say they will. Typical service consists of them texting me the day of saying they have to cancel. The tech I got last time was awful so specifically requested a certain individual and the next month guess what he didn't show up when he was scheduled. Last month they had to come back 3 times.
