Just had Jake out for my 30 day check up. I have tried 3 other pest companies the last 6 months. This one wins! Jake was pleasant and thorough. Nice to have the same rep each time. I have not had any pest activity since we switched to Green Mango. When we first moved in I tried another company and they had terrible customer service and only guaranteed to come back up to 14 days later. I had lots of crickets in the new home and we all know they are food for scorpions. I know my neighbors have reported scorpions but lucky for me---no more crickets and not a scorpion in sight! So... I've been a Green Mango customer for 18 months. I see the reviews here and I just can't agree. I've never had an issue with them not showing up or I was given notice. My situation is a little different. I do not like seeing new people around my house so I request Hunter. He is a really nice guy, can explain everything to every last detail, and takes his time to do the job correctly. I've had three companies before and I always had silverfish and other insects until Green Mango. There was one blip and it wasn't even their fault. I changed my number, lost my card I put on file with them, AND my son turned off my email that synced to my phone. When I realized what happened I called and the girl was super nice. She said they would be out ASAP and they would do another 30day follow up at no additional charge. We went about four months without service; while it wasn't their fault they had no problem helping me. I read these reviews about the bad service and I have a hard time believing some of the things I read. I'm not saying it's all false, I'm just saying I've never had this experience. They got me back on track. Hunter broke his arm so they asked me if it would be okay if Pete came out. The girl stated "I know your file says to only send Hunter, but unfortunately he is only working in the office for a few months; what it be okay to send someone else?" I said she. Pete was great. Now I've got two guys on my list. I just moved nov. 1st. I setup an appointment asking for either of those two. They said they couldn't send either, but asked if they could send one of the most experienced guys named Mason. I said sure! Mason showed up on time, got to work. Had a conversation with him. I can tell they really like working for Green Mango. Now I have a third guy I don't mind in my home. Great experience there. I've referred a lot of people to Green Mango. I have friends who are looking to move to Arizona from California and scorpions are their biggest concerns. I tell them green mango is the only way to go. I met Cameron at a home show recently. Contacted Green Mango on 9/8 received a call probably 5 minutes after I requested a quote. Edgar came out this morning (9/10) sprayed the whole exterior/interior AND got rid of spider webs/dust build up. Just used them for an initial spray and Edgar always kept me informed of what he was spraying/where he was spraying it. Ignore the reviews of people who complain about contracts. We have had green mango for 2 1/2 years. great service, great techs. However we saw 2 scorpions and had a recall. The tech came and saw rayed our patio and the rocks along perimeter of view fence. Said he doubled the concentration. I ask about our 82# golden and he said an hour and when it was dry. we kept her off of it for 3 hours. Within 6 hours of being on patio she was very sick. She was vomiting, eating grass frantically and gulping, licking her lips over and over. Frantic. We called our vet and he encouraged us to keep an eye on her, maybe she ate a lizard. By the second day she was so sick. Took her to our vet. He hydrated her, gave her a shot of anti nausea medicine. And did all the standard test of heart, lungs, bloodwork. she responded to the nausea med and began to settle. We picked her up and brought her home. She slept for several hours, still not well. That night our friend brought her 10# poodle to stay with us. The next morning she was so sick with the same symptoms. Not a coincidence. She has spent 2 nights at emergency hospital. Now home but frantically licking her paws. I washed her paws and we hosed down the patio and rocks. Just want to know if anyone else had this experience. read more

What can I say? This is the best pest control service in town. I had a MAJOR issue and it was quickly resolved by Dusty, Kayla but most of all Steve. His knowledge and attention to detail is hands down the best of ANY technician in the valley. He can answer any question you throw at him and will solve your bug problems even in the most severe of cases. My home was featured on ABC 15 News regarding the scorpion infestation, and I had been battling the scorpions for years. Steve came to my property and did ONE treatment. On his follow up black light treatment we did find a bunch of scorpions.....DEAD! Literally every one was belly up or crispy. I would give a zero if it would allow!! We have been customers for over 6 yrs and now going to be looking for a new company! I have NEVER written a bad review but this calls for one because this company has definitely took a turn for the worse ! Issue*** It is now 645pm on Saturday and we were supposed to have a tech out here between 430 and 630pm for a RESERVICE ! Yes a reservice because the last tech that came out was 2 weeks ago and we still have scorpions and other bugs come in! I had to call myself yesterday and again this morning just to find out what time block we are in and the guy named Cody that answered said we are on the last block of the day 430-630! I said it would be nice if someone would have told us like they are supposed to . He laughed and acted like no big deal. Then he said the tech might have cancellations thru the day and may come sooner than that - I said "so we are supposed to sit here all day in case he decides to come earlier?!" No that doesn't work and that isn't right to do to anyone also! I said the 430-630 time block is it and we will make sure to be home for it'. It's now 6:56pm. The tech is supposed to call 30 minutes before they come and no call , no text, no email! The WORST customer service in my opinion and my husband owns a business and this is not how you keep a business going! I gave green mango 5 treatments to impress me and failed. They are inconsistent with the service they provide only one time they knocked down cob webs. When they move stuff out of the way they're it wherever they want and don't put it back. They drag the hose all around and knockover things and mess up the rocks. Every tech will miss something. They get in and out as quickly as possible. I even had went over this with a "manager" in person after the first two visits were poor and the following visits were just as bad it wasn't until I cancelled they said ohhhh we can send out our best guy from now on. 4 out of 5 techs look like they just rolled out of bed when they show up, backwards caps just super unprofessional . I have had several pest control companies and none of them could completely get rid of scorpions and other pest. So far Green Mango has been successful. I had lots of webs on my house too from some other bug and their rep even had a long handle brush to clean the high areas which I have struggled to do myself in the past. Management for this company is horrible. They only care about money and try to scam customers. I had a agreement for services every other month. Over time they began pushing the services closer and closer, and this month it was only 6 weeks from the last service. Pushing services this close will result in 2+ extra services a year, which I would be charged for, but did not agree to. They are also horrible at notifying you of an upcoming service. This last one I got the call/email at 4pm that they would be there the next day. They also never provide service windows, making you wait at home all day for them to arrive. How can a person realistically be available all day to have the inside of their home sprayed with only one business hour notification. This results in my loss of half of the agreed upon service, yet I still have to pay for a full service (since it is 'my fault' that I wasn't home). So they are scamming money that way as well. The last straw was that I asked to speak with a manager about my concerns. I was told that one was not available and they would call back "as soon as they can". Two days later and they have not bothered to call. So services canceled and I will find a company that actually cares about their customers. Only reason for 2 stars instead of one is that the actual service technicians have all been completely professional and friendly. Nothing negative about them! read more

First, their process is extensive; they even spray up the yard wall to ensure nothing gets through! Next, their customer service is absolutely UNMATCHED! All the technicians from Green Mango are nice and the staff is nice however the communication between office and staff never happen.... they never get there when they say they will... or they show up and don't call.... or will leave messages and say why aren't we home after the technician was already there.... the last message I received, the technician had already been to my house and someone from their office left a horrible message to me saying why I wasn't home, they are going to leave etc.... And also wanted to mention, we just had a spray done a couple of weeks ago and last night found a very live scorpion so obviously our last technician didn't do what they were supposed to do... we literally started having problems within the first month of having them and then were under contract for a year... contract ended just a little while ago so I'm done with them! read more

I didn't have a distinct problem with them, I just felt like service was insanely fast. The behavior and attitude at Green Mango is not acceptable. Plus the service I have received over the 4 years I was with Green Mango was half of the time great and half of the time atrocious... Sometimes the person would show up and wave the wand over the fence and toss the receipt over the fence but not ring the bell or knock on the door, even when we stayed home (and watched them toss the receipt over the wall) to wait for them... Yesterday I called for a scorpion on the porch, right by the front door. The policy is that if I see a scorpion then you all come back out and spray but Katie told me I could not have a spray for 5 days and that she would count that as my monthly service, which it was not!! The last service was a full flush to move in, then I was supposed to get a second spray a month later THEN it goes into my monthly service. Last month she tried to raise my rate because she said my square footage increased. It decreased by 500sqft. Also the whole point of staying with green mango is that my rate would never increase and was supposed to be locked in for life, which apparently was also a lie. So green mango has never treated me well and I was waiting for the manager to call back, which never happened... I went to the competition. DONE!! read more

Me and my wife recently purchased a house that had a 3 year termite guarantee from Green Mango Pest. We noticed upon moving in that there were still reproductive termites in the garage, house, and backyard. We tried to contact Green Mango 3 times before getting someone to come out to our house. The missed the first schedule visit and said that their truck was having mechanical issues. I called back to complain and they promised that they would come out the next day. When they did finally arrive, the termite tech refused to acknowledge that we had termites, despite all evidence that suggests otherwise. I had researched online already and it was obvious we had reproductive termites, I even emailed them screenshots of what they look like to make it easier. The early 20-yr old claimed he had "10 yrs experience" and dismissed any idea that I could be correct. To be honest Green Mango already treated our house back in 2012 and 2013 so if they have to treat us again in 2014 they are probably going to loose money on our account. Thus, makes sense they are so hesitant to help out. In conclusion the termite tech was in and out of our house in 5 minutes and did no thorough inspection what so ever. He did take pics with his fancy ipad to show his "antamologist" and said they would get back to us in 48 hrs. Its been 1 week now, no call, no treatment, and I am not surprised I have given up on Green mango. Terrible customer service Terrible pesticide/termite treatment Terrible arrogant attitude from their young buck reps Only think I liked about them was their company branding and colors.
