So we took two generations to this restaurant and even got to meet the owner. Disclaimer, we have no affiliation/relations with this owner. I mentioned the critiques posted lately about the customer service to the owner and hopefully they'll look into it. It's true that the portions are smaller, but this is a classier restaurant than some of the Thai restaurants I have been too. The prices are little on the high side as well. I as well as my fellow yelpers wish they would increase portions and decrease prices, but aren't those always the things we all want? A lot of the food was more sweet than spicy which caters more to non-Thai taste buds. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but some of our party members wished the food would have a little more bang or kapow. However, no one can please everyone. And I am sure they can cater to the Thai taste buds if one requests it. We'll have to continue to return to determine this. :^) For those who want to visit and get some dishes to try. Lamb Masamun was a favorite due to the sauce. Duck Panang was delicious both in presentation and the crunchy roasted skin. There was a beef salad that was delicious as well. Larb Gi (chicken) was delicious, but some wished it was more sour, and more spicy. Maybe they can make grades for customers to request like other restaurants on levels of spicyness. But Larb Gi was mentioned a lot as our parties favorite. For dessert, one should ask the waitress, but the sweet mango with sticky rice is an all time favorite with the family and was not disappointed. They also serve ice cream as well. They have Beer Chaang (elephant) which before, could only be appreciated within Thailand. If you have tried Beer Singha and didn't enjoy the strong bitterness, you'll like Beer Chaang better. Personally, I feel the greatest part of the experience is the ambience. I feel that it has a nice aura and feel to the place. They have waitresses dressed in traditional thai outfits with an outside deck and background music (thai/english). We went on a Saturday night and it seemed a little slow. Maybe due to the reviews or maybe the recession. Whatever the case is, it provided us with a great experience with customer service. They were able to assist us as without a problem. I watched their service with other tables, and didn't see any disappointed faces. So customer service will have to be critiqued by other fellow Yelpers, but I'll have to give a great review due to the experience me and my family experiences on our visits. We'll definitely return and hope they increase the portions which would make it a great deal for all sides. Lastly, a few notes about my review. 5 stars is a rating used to determine my williness to return to the restaurant. If 5 stars was reserved for only an orgamic meal, then there may not ever be 5 stars in my reviews, kind of how they say some women never experience an ... ah-hum. 4 stars is good, 3 stars is average, and 2 stars is avoid the restaurant, and 1 star is boycotting the restaurant with no possible chance in hell I will step foot in that restaurant again. So with those ratings, I hope you enjoyed this review. And no flames about how the food is about a 3 cause this rating is for overall experience and my desire to return. Thanks for reading! Another day, another Thai restaurant to review! We'll start this off by saying, go to Restaurant.com to pick up a gift certificate when its 70-90% off and try this restaurant. This is essentially a Thai restaurant with European influences in the plating, taste and design. A nice find in a little strip mall across from Citizens Bank Arena. Upon walking in, you can be seated in one of two areas, the normal dining area, and another dining area that is slightly elevated, but you must take off your shoes here to step on the carpet and sit on pillows that are essentially on the floor, but you can also stick your legs down under the table because there is a 2 foot deep hole there. (you aren't forced to sit on your knees or Indian-style) The food, the part you all wait for: We ordered the Green Mango Salmon Supreme - this had an excellent aroma, the salmon was baked then grilled slightly, tasted wonderful, it was soft and flaked as salmon should. It tasted fresh. The sides on the dish were a typical fresh salad and a sauce that was tart with a hint of sweet, but mostly tart, with nuts in it. The salmon was stellar the salad and sauce just average. Overall still a 4.5, but it did cost us $15. We also ordered the Ruby Chicken Curry. A yellow curry with slight sweet influences that came on a square plate. The dish also included a few carrots, diced cucumbers, cilantro, and some onions. Slightly better than average curry dish with just a little bit of kick. Our last dish from here this day was the Garlic Pork. This dish had a slight kick also, with a balanced garlic taste. This dish included American Broccoli and onions. Overall just average, although the sauce underneath was pretty good (granted wife and I are garlic lovers) Overall three dishes for $36, the restaurant.com took off 25 dollars, but mandatory 18% gratuity is added with the gift card. All in all 24 dollars after discount, not too bad at all. Would I go here without the gift certificate? probably not, but with the certificate, I may come here again and try their take on several other dishes. Parking and service were great. Another plus, they accept AMEX! Overall 3.5 stars for the food, the hygiene, parking, and good service raise this place to a full 4 stars for me. read more

The Pad Se Yu (not sure how to spell them, I remember them by thinking of Potsy on Happy Days) noodles are divine. I've tried some of the other dishes and liked them as well. I recommend this place anytime somebody wants lunch near the Ontario Mills Mall. Their lunch specials are around $8 and include appetizers. I LOVE Green Mango Thai Bistro The food is delicious and the service is always great. While I have eaten at the restaurant I am a big fan of getting take out. I have not had a dish here that I did not like, a huge fan of the angry beef, jade curry, pad thai and the pineapple fried rice. I do also like the sticky rice mango dessert but I don't indulge in that too often because it is a tad pricey. The flavors of the entrees are great and I like that they will adjust the heat on the hotter dishes according to your liking. The portions are very generous and they have an awesome lunch special during the week. read more

We went there a few times and tried their different dishes. Their customer service is not very good but the food is good and that's the only reason we go there. I've only been here once, and it was years ago on a really weird date with a girl I was crushing on major. She ordered everything because I'd never had Thai before. My boyfriend and I went here for the third night of our 6th anniversary week. I really like how the place looks and we had the privilege to sit on the platform. It was a nice experience, we had to take off our shoes in order to step on the platform. We had the salmon and tofu. The sauce over the tofu was really good. Although I consider this restaurant as the second best Thai restaurant in Rancho Cucamonga ("@ Home Thai Fusion Bistro" being the first one, of course), my review for its service and foods are somewhat mixed. There were times I have had great experience, and there were times when I thought "what the heck!". 1) Good food when ordered medium spicy. 2) Some of the favorite dishes in this place are: Pad Khew Mao noodle, Musaman curry, Tom Yum soup. 3) Good location, easy to find. Clean interior. However, sometimes it gets little too loud during the lunch time. But that's not a negative thing!! It usually means that too many people are coming to try their good food. 4) Servicing is a hit or miss. It purely depends on your luck (or the server's mode). In my opinion, it is somewhat inferior to other Thai restaurants. However, I must admit that I have had mostly positive experience. I wouldn't come here again, food wasn't good enough for the price & the dish that was set before me before being served was dirty with caked on bits of food. Love the fact that I can online order from Work and pick up within 10 minutes! I always get a spicy rice with shrimp or chicken and it's great! The place looks nice, but the people and owner there are rude and miserable. No Thai smiles here. I was eating there and got my check. I was reading an article after just enjoying my dinner and the owner basically was telling me to get out because I'm finished, and she was telling me they need the seat when no joke, the place was empty! Absolutely rudest service ever. The waitresses seem miserable. Literally not one smile. It's like they lost their souls. And the food is mediocre watered down Thai food (even for an American) there are dozens of places I would recommend in the same area over this one. The taste of the food is not horrible, but not great, so I guess mediocre would be a good description. Portion size is not so helpful to those seeking bang for the buck, it it sure is great for those on a diet! Some may complain that the price is on the higher side, but such is rather typical of Thai dining, especially in a nicer neighborhood. The environment is very nice, decorated with a traditional Thai touch. I've eaten here a couple times, but I definitely don't plan on going back. My office was very close to the restaurant and I became a huge fan of their calamari kra praw. If you order it medium spicy it should be just right for those of you who like spicy. I've only tried that dish and the pad thai. I only gave 3 stars because as a Thai restaurant, I gage how good a restaurant is on how good the pad thai is...and it's only mediocre...I definitely have had better. Tried my usual Thai dish, Chicken Cashew Nuts. I wanted to compare this dish to the one that my favorite Thai place in Upland cooks. Food was good but a little too salty for my taste. Their website says "We do not add MSG" but I guess maybe their food already comes with a lot of it? I also thought the chicken was not that tender, kind of rough. I will never go back to this restaurant or any other Asian restaurant who decides to make a small cup of steamed rice an added side item and charge me a dollar or two for it. A curry dish should include a measly scoop of white steamed rice. So when you add the cost of rice to most dishes, it makes this restaurant overpriced for the quality and location of the restaurant. read more

I went here for my friend's birthday with a very large party and we really had a great time! The service was OKAY though. One of our orders was messed up and the server really did not seem to care. I have been eating at this restaurant for several years, however never looked at the ratings from other patrons. To put it mildly, I am shocked with some ratings and the reason why they gave a poor rating for not getting the order correctly. I wish Yelp had a food and a service category. The food here is exceptionally fresh, they use a lot of fresh herbs feels like home cooked. I always try their coconut sea food soup. The Jade curry, the lamb curry and the drunken noddle was great. I have had almost everything in their menu and yet to be disappointed. Now a couple of times I have experienced rude service, but I will not put down the restaurant for just that one incident. If you like Thai food, this is probably the best you can find in Inland Empire. Price is reasonable, dinner for four family style $25/per. Order food from this place TO-GO, it was semi-okay. I can't say they were the best I've ever had, only because I didn't care too much for the taste of the food. The chicken laab did not have any flavor to it, besides the lemon juice. The chicken was very dry with a very indescribable odor, which they try to garnish with mint leaves and cilantro, but it didn't really help. The drunken noodle was very plain, no flavor and the meat was very chewy. I was chewing for so long, I gave up and spit it out. I did not finish any of the entrees. I come here for two things. The Bangkok Lettuce Wraps and their Thai Tea. The Thai tea has been a bit off lately, maybe not as strong. Nonetheless always yummy. An the Bangkok Lettuce wraps, those are soooo delicious. Chicken cooked with coconut, carrots and red bell peppers chopped perfectly for those lettuce leaves. The flavor is fantastic. Food is always served warm and in some cases really hot and the staff and owner have been nothing but friendly and kind towards us, but especially to my parents.
