I live right around the corner from this Thai restaurant and have been meaning to check it out for quite some time. I finally did last night when I ordered some takeout from them! I ordered the pad see-ew with chicken and it was delicious. I thought it was well priced (especially for the portion size- I was able to make two meals out of it!) and very flavorful. They had a lot of different options on their menu as well that looked great. I'll definitely be ordered from here again when the craving for Thai food hits! read more

The food that I ordered was really good. I was roaming around on a Sunday afternoon looking for food and landed here. They had a menu outside, I reviewed that and went in and placed my order. They said it would take about 10-15 minutes. We ran to 7-11 to get some drinks and by the time we came back, it was ready. It was a little pricier than I would have liked but since it tasted really good and we are dealing with COVID, I'll give them a break. I ordered the combination fried rice and the drunken noodles. They were both delicious and just really good and I don't say that lightly. I did have to add some of the chili sauce but once that was added, it was fantastic. A couple times we had previously eaten there and the food had been pretty good, that is, the few times we'd been there. When we went for mother's day, the service was pretty slow, and the food was just very average, at best. My wife ordered a large soup but it just appeared to be a medium size soup she received. They brought forks for the soup. The menus had small stickers on them saying that all meals are $2 more now, above menu price. The workers were polite, but it was very slow service. My family got served before me. Maybe half an hour later I just canceled my food, having not received it. Suddenly, when I was canceling, they said my food was done but they didn't bring it. I so persisted and said "no that I don't want it." They offered us a 10% discount but I found that to be kind of insulting for the less than stellar experience. No one wants to go to a restaurant and have everybody else at your table eating and you still haven't even been served a half hour later. My wife said some of the the vegetables were hard, or maybe a bit undercooked. I don't really want to talk bad about anybody, I wish them the best, but I probably wouldn't go there again. Maybe they were just having a bad day. Maybe because they were very busy on mother's day, or short-staffed, I'm not sure. Our first experience was nothing less than amazing. The food and service were great. I was excited to be in the Rancho area again. After yesterday's experience, sadly, we will not be returning. The plates were dirty. Paper menus do not reflect the current pricing.Crying Tiger dish was cold. Our server, Groy, was more concerned with sitting and being on her cell phone. Mascus was very nice and was doing the best he could. The restaurant was not very busy for the customer service we received. There was a party of 4 next to us experiencing the same. Our drinks sat empty, no refills ever offered. I am giving only 1 star because of Mascus friendliness, and the mango sticky rice was good despite being on a dirty plate. They place a button to push if you need anything. We pushed the button and heard it, looked over to get some eye contact.... nothing... except overpriced food, Very disappointing. read more

Beautiful decor, very considerate staff! Their red curry is delicious! & while they may seem a bit pricey, you get a hefty amount of food for your money. Example: "extra veggie" is considered a protein option on the curries, whereas other Thai restaurants charge you $2 at least for the same thing, so GM is priced evenly. Great service. They were so nice but I noticed the women's restroom was dirty when I went and it honestly rubbed me the wrong way. I immediately thought "damn if this is the restroom I can only imagine the kitchen" Next day, me and my man got food poisoning. And we're still dealing with it two days later. I don't like leaving bad reviews but I'm hoping management sees this and makes a correction. Come for the food, and know that you're definitely not coming for the service. Food is good (red curry is great), service is terrible.. always under staffed! It can take 5-10 mins to get seated because no one is even on the floor to see you've walked in!!! Wether you're waiting for a refill which can take 5-10 mins or your takeout order which can take 35-45 mins, it's so frustrating and bad for business. Very good food, flavors, great customer service but hidden knowledge of price increases. The hard cover menu does not reflect true food prices. There are 2x2 inch key codes on the table which they claim have the true prices. When brought up to them while paying they come out with oh yeah I should have told you the price changes are on the table in the key code. There is a big difference between prices so be careful.. I ordered a 14.95 meal but ended up with a bill for $16.95. It is only two dollars more but it would have been for every dish, if I had a party with me. Still a good meal just be on the lookout when the bill arrives. I thought they would have honored the price I saw on the menu but they still rung up the higher price. I ordered a takeaway order today, after seeing that they had a Gluten Free / Vegan Tom Yum Soup option (with a few additional instructions, of course) and not only was the order right (without any issues); it was DELICIOUS! The spice level was on point; it took me over an hour to finish it and it was warm the entire time! I chose to pick it up; and was surprised at how large the restaurant is on the inside (the outdoor dining is a really nice perk that I will be taking advantage of in the future). The restaurant itself was CLEAN and smelled CLEAN; which is a breath of fresh air. Both the hostess and women who brought my food out were nice and kind; answered some questions I had and then got me the few additional things I needed before I left. I will definitely be coming back in the future and will be sure to pass along this place to friends when they are in the mood for some delicious Thai cuisine. read more

First, the decor and set up looks like a 5 star thai restaurant. You will feel like you are inside authentic Thai Restaurant. But don't be fool because the food is horrible. For Appetizer: we ordered Sweet potato fries. I was expecting a simple sweet potatoe fries. But what it came is a deep french fries coated with brown sugar. It was a big JOKE. A frozen french fries deep fry and coated with melted brown sugar. I ordered sweet potato fries not this crap. And the sauce: fish sauce! It does not match at all. BIG mistake Garlic Chicken: It was plated in a shredded cabbage to look like its a big portion but half of it is shredded cabbage. Literally it was just a boiled breast chicken garnished with garlic on top. Beef Pad Thai: It was ok but the beef was definitely frozen and cooked. It was so hard to chew, I have to spit it out because it was just chewy and rubbery. Mango Sticky Rice: The Mango was perfect and its plting. But the rice was raw! That was a bug failure. Service: Really slow. only 2 server for a saturday night. Not recommending to anyone but will come back to see if they will improve and work on their flaws. read more

Tried this place with my mom and it was alright. There are so many other Thai places in the area, though, so this one is nothing special, imo. I got the yellow curry, and the chicken was a little dry for me, and came with a lot of veggies. The soup that comes with it is pretty basic, and not the Thom Yum I was expecting. Also, the Thai Tea doesn't have free refills, which really makes me sad. On the plus side, the decor is really nice. read more

I have been going here for the past 3years and Green Mango Thai Bistro have always been consistently delicious. My wife and I get the Pad Prik King and the Yellow Curry Chicken, EXTRA SPICY, and let me tell you, BOMB! And they don't play if you ask for extra spicy :) The portions are more than enough and you most likely have left overs for tomorrow breakfast! Lol that's right, this taste great for breakfast too! Came here for dinner since it's close to our apartment... i had eaten here before, but it has been a long time. We ordered cream cheese wontons as an appetizer, they were good. For entrees we ordered pad see eww, and crying tiger with a thai tea.... The thai tea was delicious and so was the pad see eww... The crying tiger was ok, it was to dry for me, i wouldn't order it again. They had a lot of options for food and it all looked delicious... As far as Thai places go, I think this is going to be my go-to spot for good Thai food in the IE. The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable. I tried the garlic chicken & broccoli lunch special, which I ordered with a side of fried rice. For the price (I believe around $8.95 not including tax) I think you get a great amount of food. The meat was cooked and seasoned just right (not too juicy but not too dry) and the fried rice is some of the best I've had at a Thai place even though I wish there were more of it. It is good for groups (I went with a work team during lunch hour on a Wednesday) or you could go in smaller parties, but the service was reasonably fast for a large party. I would definitely return and try the other dishes - everyone else's food looked so good as well! read more

Delish! This was our first trip here. We had the shrimp spring rolls which were fresh and refreshing. The the chicken lard was the main course. It was very flavorful and meaty. The mango sticky rice was a wonderful end to our meal. We also had an order of fried pot stickers. It was surprisingly good. Called for take out...! Drive in a storm...Ad I was driving towards my destination realized that my order was incorrect, ordered shrimp curry. I was given chicken... No silverware or napkins were packed. When I called the manager" he offered to make a new order and refund my money for the mistake, and having to drive back however, when I returned he had a new order for me but did not mentioned the refund. My husband and I stumbled into this plaza looking for a place to eat after going to Costco. We saw Green Mango and since we haven't had Thai in a while.....decided to go in. Upon entering, there were 2 other tables with guests. We ordered: $2.95 - Thai Ice Tea $8.95 - Larb Kai Salad (ground chicken with green & red onions, cilantro, lime juice and chili) $9.95 - Drunken Eggplant (with garlic, chili, onion, bell pepper, bamboo shoot & Thai basil) $10.95 - Thai Style BBQ Chicken =============================== TOTAL: $38.61 (without tip) Larb Salad - had good flavor and the portion was okay. After a few minutes, I was crying since the chili started kicking in. Wow, I've had the larb salad and other places and this was the first one that made my lips burn. Eggplant - I always order eggplant at the Thai restaurant in San Dimas (Lucky Elephant). The one served at Green Mango was decent and the eggplant itself was more firm than I like. I wish it had more time to really soak the sauce in though. Thai BBQ Chicken - WOW, seriously impressed with the moistness of the chicken! It just fell off the bone and was juicy. Great flavor also. My favorite Thai Chicken is from Thai BBQ (Glendale, Fullerton....etc). I like the crispy, charred skin on them, but Green Mango's chicken was pretty good too. SERVICE: Service was very attentive. They came to fill up our water several times, took our plates away and checked up on us. Overall, I though the dinner prices were a little expensive. We ordered a salad and veggie dish and that alone was almost $20. Including a 15% tip, we were almost $45 poorer after eating here..... It was pretty good though, so we will most likely be back. read more
