I've had their chicken shawarma, falafel, and recently their salmon kabob plate, which are all satisfying, delicious meals. I enjoy lathering their garlic sauce on the salad and eating the meat and rice alongside it. The salmon was not dry at all which surprised me. My mom is vegetarian and loves their falafel. After ordering it took about 20mins to get our food.. we sat outside on the patio area, really nice. Food was good, flavorful. I was not a fan of the salad dressing they gave me for the salad though so I ended up eating the salad dry. I got a kabob plate, steak and shrimp, and my friend got a Gyro. I have never left a review on any restaurant in my entire life, and got yelp to make this review. This restaurant gave me a bad feeling with the atmosphere since the moment I stepped in here. I tried to ignore it, but when we sat down I look to my right and there is a LIVING COCKROACH right next to me. When I tell a woman passing by me, she rudely responds, rolling her eyes and saying "oh sorry" insincerely taking her towel she was cleaning with and swiping the roach up. I didn't see where it went, but then she said "it's not a roach it's a bee" (it wasn't, I'm not blind ) she then said "girl, it's on you!", wiped me with her dirty towel then stepped on it. That was it. I am currently waiting for my food and I'm honestly just not hungry anymore. I'm staying because my family is with my, but if I was alone I would have walked out so fast. Please, don't eat here. Update: it just keeps getting worse when one of my family members filled a cup with their water it came out brown. They had to toss it and redo. I've been coming here for a few years now and it never disappoints. The food is great and authentic. They have a well crafted menu with a little bit of everything. Their humus is honestly great and they cook their meat/chicken perfectly. The service is wonderful even when they're super busy. The ambiance is nice but I wish they had more seating available. They recently expanded their outdoor seating but during peak hours it still isn't enough. If you're looking for authentic Greek cuisine, Green Olive is a safe bet. Wanted to try some Mediterranean food and found this location it was close to closing and they still allowed us to order to go. The dinner area seemed a bit small however they did have an outside eating area which didn't look too bad. The food was delicious I had the shrimp and filet mignon combo plate. It came with 4 shrimps and 4 steak pieces, rice, hummus, cucumber salad. The only reason it's not a five was because of the front of house cashier, with her attitude towards us. We told the girl we needed a min to look over the menu since it was our first time she seemed annoyed and when my boyfriend started asking questions she would annoyingly look to her coworker to answer the question. Overall the food was delicious although side note the pita bread was a bit hard, I'm sure if we would have came earlier maybe the bread would've been fresher. I never write yelp reviews, but i felt compelled to this past Sunday because this restaurant went above and beyond. I asked my brother to pick up Mother's Day Special platters. He did not double check the order and just left with a bunch of bags all the way to my house in Santa Ana. We noticed he didnt have the meat! I called Green Olive and they recognized the mistake right away. I'm sure things were super busy and it was missed, and also as a customer, we didn't check the order before my brother left. What blows me away, is even on this busy busy day (Mother's day), they offered to DRIVE the meat to my house, in SANTA ANA! You cant get better customer service than that!
