Poké2Grill is easily one of my favorite spots in the area. The food is always delicious and it's honestly the only poke place nearby that I keep coming back to. The place was clean, had a nice chill ambience, and it's conveniently located in a parking plaza. Our total came out to about $42. Definitely worth checking out if you're in Downey. read more

Stopped by on a Monday so it wasn't busy at all. Parking does suck because of the gym next door. Nice and clean interior, friendly service. Not much to say, really. Plenty of food choices. I wasn't "too hungry" but still finished my food (haha). Husband and I both got bowls, and my son didn't want anything. I gave him a some of my food to try, and he liked it, so he helped me finish it. Really liked it. read more

Food is honestly really good, which makes this review even more disappointing. The customer service was terrible. While my bowl was being made, I felt completely rushed--even though the place was empty. The employee was asking what I wanted super fast and had an attitude every time I added something, like she didn't want to be there. I get it--it was a Sunday, and who really wants to work on a Sunday--but her attitude was way too noticeable and it clearly showed she didn't want to be there. I don't know her name, but I've been here quite a few times and this was my first time seeing her working there. She was a light-skinned girl who helped me out. I tried to brush it off, but it got worse. I ordered a drink, she charged me for it, took my money, and then just walked away without giving it to me or saying anything. It was confusing and unprofessional. Instead of apologizing, she laughed. This review is strictly about the service because the food itself is solid. I've been coming to this place for about six years (ever since they closed Pokémom next to Cinemark Downey), and I truly love it. It's a very casual spot, and while it's usually not too busy for dine-in, there can sometimes be a wait to order. I always get the poke bowls, which I rate 5/5 in both quality and quantity. However, I wouldn't recommend the kids' meals--I've ordered the shrimp & chips and the popcorn chicken & chips for my daughter on separate occasions, and both times, the shrimp and chicken were over-fried, making them hard and overcooked. The fries were also stale and cold. My sister, unfortunately, has had a different issue--on multiple occasions, she's found an employee's hair in her poke bowl. I've noticed that none of the staff ever wear hairnets, which is concerning. Personally, I've never had this happen, and I love the poke here far too much to stop coming--but my sister can't say the same. That being said, every time I've called about an issue, the staff has been very nice and accommodating. I always made sure to take pictures just in case they thought it was our hair, but they handled it well. Overall, I still highly recommend the poke bowls, but I hope they improve their food handling and kids' meal quality. read more

Been trying out new Poke spots in this general area for the past few weeks and I think this is the…read moreend of my journey. Poke Rainbow is as good as it gets for me whenever I'm out for lunch. I came in during the weekday with absolutely nobody in the store. Staff was very quiet so I had minimal interaction with them which isn't a big deal because there's only two roles to play here: one person to order, and one person to fulfill the order. Anything more and it's like a freshman mixer at college. My order consisted of a spring mix base, double albacore, ahi tuna, octopus, cucumber, jalapeno, and ponzu sauce. Everything hit the spot. And the greatest is their protein to side ratio was phenomenal! I had so much more protein left over you'd think my bowl was personally trying to bulk up! Pricing's a little expensive, but times are tough and shrinkflation is real. Thankfully it hasn't hit this place too hard...yet? This will be my go-to spot in this general area from now on.
