This store was packed the entire weekend when we came in. Store is big and spacious with two sections. One is sit down cafe, the other is bakery and take out area. It's all fast casual style though. They have a lot of varieties to choose from and great coffee and tea to go menu. They take reservations for weekend brunch too. I picked quite a few pastries to try. My favorites are lemon tart and lemon bar. Obviously I like lemon flavored pastries. The red velvet vegan cupcake and blueberry muffin were delicious as well. I am so jealous of this gluten free kitchen bakery and cafe. Wish we had something like this near my home! This is our must stop whenever we are in Santa Barbara!

We ordered a the chocolate decadence cake and it was delicious and not too sweet, which we appreciated. It's a dark chocolate cake filled with layers of dark chocolate mousse, frosted in swirled French buttercream, One downside is the price tag. A 6 inch cake was $80ish dollars. Our lunch was a-ok. We ordered a Ham and Swiss sandwich, a quiche, and lilac salad. The price point here is quite high. The sandwich was 19.50 for a fairly basic item. I short, we went there for the cake and stayed for lunch. The cake was memorable for the recipient. So we'd order from them again. Not sure I need to go back for a meal.

It had just the right amount of tartness from the lemon and raspberry, while the light, fluffy meringue on top balanced everything out beautifully. Now for the savory food! I was so sure I was going to order the French omelet, but for some reason, the Blue Crab Crepe was calling my name. So I decided to go with that along with the Veggie Quiche, and I have absolutely no regrets about either choice. The Blue Crab Crepe came with two crepes generously stuffed with fresh-tasting blue crab and topped with lemon hollandaise and chives. The Veggie Quiche does take a little longer to come out, but it is absolutely worth the wait. Mine came with sun-dried tomatoes, Parmesan, and basil, and it was delicious. The breakfast entrées also come with your choice of house potatoes, fruit, or a side salad. One thing to note: you order everything at the counter first before finding yourself a seat, and there is also a self-serve water station. We arrived during a busy Saturday morning and were lucky to be seated right away. Our server Sidney was awesome. Arrived with a smile, patients made great recommendations, and very efficient. Props to Sterling, also her brother, and his excellent basing support as well as keeping our water glasses filled. We also had the opportunity to meet one of the co-owners who was humble and helpful! The food was some of the best I tasted! The pastries were amazing and sauces delectable. Everything was cooked to order and prepared with care. We were so happy with our food that we had to take some pastries to go. We will definitely be back to visit this charming place!

I tried calling the restaurant several times to correct the error, but no one ever picked up. By late morning the next day, I finally got through, and a woman told me the manager would call me at noon to help sort things out. Unfortunately, noon came and went, and I never heard from him. I'm curious whether my message actually got through and whether the manager will eventually call me. Fortunately, I'm local, so I'll stop by the restaurant on my evening walk and take care of it in person. Overall, I enjoyed the dinner and would happily go back--but if you need to reach them, don't rely on the phone!

Except a bit of toddler crying here and now since this is a family restaurant especially in the mornings. For breakfast we have tried local fruit plate, breakfast plate and California style shakshuka. Also sides of fruits and smoked salmon. The food was delicious in healthy portions. The service was fantastic and very welcoming! We were very impressed with this hotel restaurant and will come back whenever we are in town!

I am not a vegetable person, but owner Rebekah is slowly making me a more well rounded and healthy eater. All her food I've tried is really good. Unfortunately, I've sampled so many things that I can't name them all. The veggie burgers stand out as some of the best I've had (though I am not an expert). The rejuvenation cleanse is amazing. After the 5 day cleanse you will feel amazing, but you can start with the 3 day version if you haven't done a cleanse and are nervous and will still feel great. It's not a laxative bomb, but more of a nutrient infusion. It will clean you out, but it doesn't feel extreme. I'm doing my 4th cleanse now, and feeling so good it is what prompted me to write this review. read more

I love this place; it's one of my go to places to eat. The food is great and the staff is always friendly. Sure, for some people the portions are a little small, but I don't eat a lot in one sitting, so the portions are perfect for me. But I also don't think people should be eating that much in one sitting; our stomachs are roughly the size of a clenched fist when it's empty. But you must also remember that the food quality is much better than a lot of places. Anyways, I recommend this place to friends and clients all the time. It's great that they serve vegan and gluten free options, but it's even better that it's very tasty food. You don't usually find both in one place! read more

As someone who has multiple food sensitivities, extreme gluten intolerance, and an extremely specific diet, Rebekah's cuisine is amazing! I am usually all raw but even her mildly cooked Parm and Pizza digest easily and the desserts are full of amazing ingredients that are too costly to make at home and are combined to be super delicious! I admire her hard work and genuine passion for creating super health foods. So happy to be able to eat out !! And support a small local business. The raw veggie wrap and the green table burger and both fantastic. My favorite has to be the lasagna. The base is almond flour, and it has goat cheese. They do not have acai bowls :( smoothies are weird. Salads are blah. I had the vegetable stir fry and it was room temperature with too much arugula. My friend had a burger and it was awful. Textures were horrible. There are much better vegan/vegetarian joints. read more

Go in you PJ's, line up, point at what you want, pay and then walk out and eat your food wherever you are comfortable. And with you to-go item, you can be feasting on a great baguette, a duck confit and a well-dressed salad. There are drinks available too. Masks are required. Number of people are limited indoors so there is a line starting from the door. At the time of my visit, outdoor dining was still allowed so there were patio furniture set up and some people were availing themselves of it. Which was great because next door is Caffe Luxxe!
