I had a couple of super clogged sinks and tried drano, self rodding, nothing worked. I first called another plumber who couldn't fix the clogged drains without tearing apart a huge hole in my wall. So I decided to get a second opinion and thank goodness I did. I spoke to Kevin who was super quick to responding and get a plumber out. The plumber was courteous, polite , and worked fast. He did have to open up the wall but made a small opening that isn't noticeable compared to the other plumber . Regardless, my two sinks were unclogged within little over an hour. Green tech won me over as a customer for life because in the plumbing business you will get the sales pitch of you need this or need to upgrade to that to solve your problem. But not green tech. Kevin from Green Tech has a laid back, friendly, interpersonal style, but he is very honest and professional. We needed some work done on our sump pump backup system. Kevin came out and gave a free estimate, suggested we first try replacing a fuse in case we were lucky enough that it was causing the problem, and even came out and replaced the fuse for free when we couldn't figure it out. We ended up needing a new backup system after all, but he was very thorough in explaining options and absolutely did not pressure us. He noted a few other things that were done incorrectly by other plumbers, but when I asked about fixing them he recommended we just keep an eye on it and not to waste money if it wasn't going to cause problems. They did a great job installing the sump pump backup, and were even flexible with a payment plan for us. read more

Easter Sunday, 4/1/18 (Of Course!).....we had about 12 people coming over to celebrate and our toilets started backing up, but not overflowing. Thankfully, we made it through the day with only minor issues. That evening, I called GreenTech at 10:15 p.m.. Kevin returned my call TWO MINUTES later! We mutually agreed on an appointment at 8:00 a.m.. Kyle arrived at 7:45 a.m. and began work in a "cleanout" in our front yard. He rodded a tremendous amount of tree roots out to the main sewer (about 75 feet) and then rodded more roots from the "cleanout" back into our home (about 25 feet). Once the work was complete, Kyle ran a camera in both directions to show me that our entire sewer line was now "root free". I recently had a few plumbing issues that that required immediate help. After calling a few plumbers, Green Tech stood out from the rest. Not only were they the most reasonably priced, but they seemed to be very attentive to my issues. In fact, I had to fix my kitchen faucet and bathroom faucet and in both cases, Eric from Green Tech recommended that I call the manufacturer first to see if they could cover the cost of a new faucet. I appreciated his advice and patience as it turned out in both cases he was right. He gladly waited and came back at no extra charge. We called Green Tech in pinch and they delivered! We had a major issue in the house that led us to discover that our sump pump stopped working and had several inches of standing water in our crawl space. Kevin was able to describe how they would have to remove the standing water in order to get the new sump pump installed which eased my nerves about the whole process. Our thermostatic shower system stopped getting hot a couple months after moving into our new place. We contacted multiple plumbers and explained our situation. Of the 3, 2 were highly rated and one was working on my best friend's bathroom. Of the 3, one showed up and said he probably had to go through the dry wall to fix it. He also recommended we go to a store for a valve. The store did not have the Artos brand so we were back to square one. The other two plumbers were no shows! Is it that complicated?! Fast forward 8 months and we decide to try yelp again for a new plumber. We find this place, explain our situation and they respond with the possible brand behind Artos. We schedule a time. Nick showed up on time and pulled out a piece the other plumber couldn't get out (fairly quickly). He told me he was going to a faucet store that had everything and was going to call me if they had the piece he was looking for. I green lighted the purchase. He said there was another piece he needed to get out and if he couldn't get it out, "he was out!" We were nervous but he got it out pretty easily and our shower was up and running within 2 hours of his arrival! We are thrilled our shower is back to normal and that we didn't have to tear through the wall. I highly recommend them! read more

We have some leaking coming from our shower to the ceiling below so we had Kevin come over for an estimate. He was VERY flexible with our schedules and was able to come over at 6:15am on a weekday. He assessed the situation at no charge and determined that we needed our shower floor recalked and resealed and that there was not an actual pipe leak or major issue. As a result, turns out we do not need a plumber but we need a grout/tile repairman instead which is what he suggested. We ended up not needing any work done from Kevin but would still recommend him and Green Tech Plumbing. He was knowledgeable about our issue and honest and forthcoming about what needed to be done. My husband and I woke up this morning to a hot water pressure drop followed by no hot water. I immediately yelped highly rated companies in the area and saw Green Tech had an outstanding reputation. I sent a quote at close to 6:30 am, even before the office was open. They came out Monday for a problem with sewer water coming up in basement when we did the laundry. They cleared the clogs in the pipes. By Saturday it had happened again. This time Kevin came out. He did extensive clearing/rodding and went in with a camera. Turns out the combination of old pipes with a newer low flow toilet means the toilet paper clogs things up. Kevin didn't charge for the Sunday morning visit which included going in with a camera. Hopefully with the change in TP after all the pipe clearing we will be in good shape. He also suggested cleaning out the toilet tank with clr or a similar stronger product as well as cleaning the little ports inside the toilet bowl, we won't need to call a plumber any time soon. But if we do, we will call Greentech. read more
