    Chimichurri Chicken Melt
    Cassandra B.

Oh my goodness! Everything here is delicious! And the staff are genuinely happy! The only complaint I can think of is that when I asked for an extra side of chimichurri and the recipe, they said they could only give me the extra side of chimichurri, no recipe :( My goal is to try every single item on this menu!

First time trying Green Tomato Grill and I was really impressed! The food was fresh, flavorful, and made with quality ingredients. Everything tasted great, and the service was friendly from start to finish. As someone with celiac disease, eating out can be stressful, but I appreciated that there were plenty of gluten-free options available. It's not always easy to find a restaurant that offers healthy, delicious food while accommodating dietary restrictions. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu!

Hands down the best customer service I have received in I don't even know long. First time there and to be honest I really only went in to charge my phone so felt it necessary to of course purchase something and the young blonde cashier who helped me (sorry I don't remember the nice girls name) was so informational and genuine and enthusiastic. When I went to pay she gave me a free drink and wouldn't accept a tip. ... now that I think about it... she definitely thought I was homeless. It was a rough night before. Oh my god. She thought I was homeless. Now I wanna kick off a star. Uhh. Yeah. So. Good tater tots. Look trashy enough but be friendly and I guess you'll get a discount too.

It's always soooo good, get the chimchuri chicken melt, to DIE for. Great staff, very friendly, and amazing service!

Great team! Relaxed, Casual vibe. Cute indoor/outdoor decor. Fresh foods. GTG ceasar salad w/ chicken- Wow! The dressing has a little tang that brings all of the fresh fixins together. The chicken is cut perfectly into fully cooked bite size pieces. I wish I could get another one today. Philly Cheese Steak melt - Double Wow! All the fixins and marinated perfectly and the veggies are al dente so you get a nice melty crunch. Vanilla coconut latte - so refreshing! Parking is no problem. Great lunch spot!

Was looking for something healthy, with veggies and protein and not break the wallet. This was the perfect spot. This place is like a fast food paradise for healthy junkies! They have so much variety of wraps, salads, burgers and bowls of high quality ingredients and at incredible prices. Service was super fast we ordered inside at the counter. Got our food super fast even though they had a lot of online orders and people inside. Ambiance was simple and relaxed like a fast food place. You can also order through uber eats, price a little bit higher but still super reasonable. We ordered to eat in the Hawaiian Ahi Poke and to go the Caesar Salad with Chicken. Bowls are big! Everything was delicious!! Wish San Diego had a Green Tomato Grill!!

Yummmmmmmmy!!! Ordered the salmon tacos and my husband had the teriyaki bowl with chicken and both were delicious. GTG is back in our good graces.

    Casual cute with great A/C

Everything here is always so fresh and delicious. The food tastes amazing, the prices are really great, and everyone who works here is genuinely so kind. This is my go-to spot for a local lunch. I definitely recommend ordering takeout because it can get busy around lunchtime, but even when you come in to eat at the restaurant, they are still really efficient. Such a great place!

I was craving something light and healthy. So, I did a quick search via Yelp for a salad spot and immediately drooled over the salads at Green Tomato Grill! Arrived around lunch time at 12:30pm and was immediately hit with how good it smelled in here. It could have partially been because I was super hungry, but either way I was ready for something yummy. This is your standard fast casual spot. You order up front, grab a number, and the crew drops it off for you. Simple enough. I will say though, the team here were incredibly kind and pleasant. Always smiling and definitely made me feel welcome. From the cashier to the person who dropped my food, everyone was super sweet. I'm a huge lover of customer service, and that's the kind of thing that'll keep me coming back. Food was great! I ordered the Miso salad and it was delicious. Fresh spring mix with chicken and other fixings. Since it was my first time at Green Tomato Grill, I was offered a free side and chose the tomato soup. So good, fresh and warm (it was a gloomy and cold day so it really hit the spot). I added one of the refreshers drinks which was super tasty as well. Great experience over at Green Tomato Grill! From the food to the customer service, it was the perfect healthy lunch spot. Next time I'm in the mood for something fresh, healthy, and delicious, I'll be right here!

This was my first time ever trying Green Tomato Grill. The location itself seemed nice enough and was clean and the service was friendly. I was looking for something that was fast, decent quality and on the healthier side. So I opted to get the Paleo Burger Bowl. My overall impression was that it was just okay. It's not that the bowl was of poor quality, but it just tasted very bland. Granted, it could've just been the nature of the bowl I ordered. I will say that it definitely didn't seem like there was enough of the Sriracha Aioli to fully cover everything, given how much of the bowl is made up of lettuce.

The food here is delicious, when you walk in you smell fresh vegetables. Not fried yuckiness. The food is flavorful fresh and delightful. The seating is pretty open. There's a good amount of seats inside and out. The staff is really, really neat.

SPICY MEDITERRANEAN BOWL, GREEK MEZZE SALAD, HARISSA SPICED CARROTS, BROOKIE
    Chrissy L.

The Spicy Mediterranean Bowl with grilled chicken and Greek Mezze Salad with grilled norwegian salmon were both delicious, featuring greens, feta, and chickpeas. The Harissa Spiced Carrots tasted surprisingly like sweet potatoes. The Brookie was an indulgent treat that combined both a brownie and a cookie.

Loved the Green Tomato Grill :) Delicious and filling. I wanted something healthy, tasty, and filling today so I decided to stop by to give it a try. I was not disappointed. Their customer service is excellent and the young man at the register was so patient and answered all my questions since it was my first time here. I will definitely come back. The vibe here is so peaceful and you can eat calmly with family.

My son called Culinary Dropout and spoke with Olivia, the hostess, to see if the kitchen was still serving. Olivia responded with genuine warmth and kindness, assuring us that the kitchen was still open and that they would be happy to welcome us. From the moment we arrived, Olivia's hospitality set the tone for an exceptional evening. She greeted us with a warm smile, made us feel genuinely welcome, and promptly seated us. Shortly after, our server, Layla, introduced herself. Despite the late hour, she was energetic, engaging, and had an infectious enthusiasm that elevated the entire dining experience. She expertly recommended several cocktails, along with a glass of wine, and her knowledge of both the bar program and the menu was impressive. Her recommendations for appetizers and entrées were spot on. We decided on the Wagyu Pigs in a Blanket, BBQ Nachos, and the Spicy Rigatoni. Every dish was beautifully prepared, flavorful, and exceeded our expectations. Another team member, Emanuel, delivered one of our dishes and was equally personable and engaging. He took the time to share information about the restaurant, further demonstrating the outstanding level of hospitality displayed by the entire team. Manager Dave also stopped by our table to check on our experience. We shared with him that this was, without question, one of the best dining experiences we've had in Orange County in quite some time. Great food certainly matters, but it was the exceptional service, genuine hospitality, and positive energy of the staff that made the evening truly memorable. A sincere thank you to Layla, Olivia, Emanuel, Dave, and the entire Culinary Dropout team for creating such a first-class dining experience. We look forward to returning soon and will gladly recommend your restaurant to family and friends.

And I'm glad I did. In the daytime, the patio area is gorgeous--you can really appreciate the firepit seating and the little lake with koi fish outside. Such a relaxing vibe. We came by around 4PM to pregame before Disney and the bar was pretty busy. Huge shoutout to Arvey, the bartender who took care of us during our visit. Not only was the service exceptional, but he genuinely made some of the best cocktails we've had in a while. Sitting at the bar and watching him make the drinks was honestly part of the experience itself. At first we were trying to customize and tweak our drinks because we usually stay in our comfort zone, but after talking with him and learning more about the ingredients in The Peel's specialty cocktails, we decided to trust the process a little more. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, though the indoor dining area is on the smaller side. The bar area is even more intimate, with only a few two-person tables and has a much darker, moodier atmosphere compared to the bright feel of the main dining room. I tried the Blueberry Scone ($5), Bacon Onion White Pizza ($20), and Truffle Mushroom Burger ($25). Unfortunately, the scone was the biggest disappointment as it was quite dry and I wasn't a fan of the walnuts. The pizza and burger, however, were both solid choices but nothing that stood out. My favorite part of the meal was actually the shoestring fries, which were perfectly crispy and well-seasoned. Service was just okay. After taking our order, our server never came back to check on us, refill our water glasses, or see if we needed anything else. One thoughtful touch was having sinks located outside the restrooms for anyone who just wanted to wash their hands. That said, the restroom layout felt a bit awkward. The doors were difficult to maneuver, especially with the toilets located immediately inside, and the toilets themselves were noticeably low. Parking can be challenging on weekends, particularly during the breakfast and lunch rush. Most of the nearby street parking is metered and while we only paid about $3.40 for two hours, finding an available spot might take a bit of patience.
