I stop in here about once a week to grab a cold brew nitro. I really like the nitro cold brew here as it has a mellow, mildly nutty flavor. The standard cold brew is a little harsh to me. It tastes kind of like eating coffee grinds. I have also tried the mango peach kombucha and found it really tasty, albeit a little pricey at almost four bucks for a 12oz bottle. I have also tried the chocolate chip scone which I found soft, moist, and tasty. The dough itself was a little bland but overall, still a good scone. Especially the texture. I have also had the cinnamon scone and that was just a world of disappointment. You see what looks like chunks of exploded cinnamon toffee or something all through it with some kind of crusty skirt around it. It literally looks like a flavor explosion. I sit down, take a bite, completely flavorless dough that is really dry and chewy bits of something that mildly taste like cinnamon. Seriously, how can something look so flavorful lack almost any flavor? Anyway, that was a complete waste of money, but now I know. Again, the chocolate chip has soft with nice chocolate chunks all throughout. A much better option in my honest opinion. Bottom line is this, I typically eat Keto so I mainly come in here for coffee. About the establishment, it's a little bit off the beaten path, however it isn't run down like so many other cafes. Inside seems quite relaxing although I've not seen it at capacity. About the service, it's generally not good to generalize but yes the baristas all seemed pleasant in my experience, not like they were bored or disgruntled. Big fan of this coffee shop. I had heard from coworkers it was good and always wondered why they would walk past a perfectly decent Dunkin and Starbucks. I see why now. The coffee is just better, as is the food. It has a large seating area inside and out which is nice for studying and chatting. Nothing like a cozy couch or fireplace but still really nice. The coffee is the key though. The espresso drinks just are excellent and I'm not sure how but I enjoy it. The iced coffee is brewed nitro so no watered down flavor at all. Fail. I went there my second time and ordered an Italian soda. First, the barista who took my order said he couldn't hear me. If I'm the only customer in there before 9am, I don't understand why I couldn't be heard. Then the barista who made the drink didn't know what it was. Second, I paid almost $5 for a 20oz and got a 12oz. I had my daughter with me and there were other customers waiting in line by that time that I didn't want to deal with it, so I let it go.
