While they chatted a few minutes before noticing I was waiting to order, they were attentive and present while I ordered, asked questions and even gave me the recommendation of "almond croissant over chocolate", and "you have to get it warmed, it is so good!". So I did. My almond milk latte was okay, nothing special and while the almond croissant was good too, it was nothing special. To be honest the only reason I trekked to this out of the way spot was because I had a gift card I wanted out of my wallet. The parking situation is absurd and the way the traffic goes, getting in and out of the parking lot can take a while. I'm glad this visit was a good one and it will leave a fond memory in my mind when I think of Karmic Grounds. I don't plan on making this a destination or plan to visit again, but if I was in the area and craving coffee, I wouldn't run the other way.
