Over priced coffee- paid $10 for a 16 oz latte- and they only offer their "in house expensive milk" which is just a sweetened whole milk. Wasn't a big deal to over pay initially for this adequate latte - BUT- when I asked the status on my drink after it being 10 minutes of being here and others getting their orders, and mind you- never hearing my name called.... The 3 snobby girls behind the counter looked at me like I was an idiot and like I was trying to scam them for a drink- while there's only 5 customers here- ummm. ??? After confirming my name, they said "they called my name". As they did not bc there was no drink present. They made snobby faced responses as I walked away to wait again for my drink - that "only took 2 minutes to make". Also, the customer before me had to ask for her missing drink. My friend and I were not sitting far from the barista counter and could here these ladies gossiping about customers and being just quite rude and snobby. Customer service here is absolutely lacking. The coffee is okay but not okay enough to be $10!!!!! The "secret garden" shown on their instagram is not accessible to customers- apparently it is only available for planned events.

The bag I bought was roasted within the week and it was very good coffee. They offer a variety of roasts in store and boast pour over. I prefer a pour over or chemex. When I requested one however the barista indicated they would prefer to offer me their brewed coffee instead. I asked how long ago it was brewed. They said an hour (ew). Also I had requested the dark roast and the brew was medium roast. I know better than to trouble an employee who does not want to work ha! So I took the brew. It was ok but not what In wanted. I hope Kona Reserve reads this and understands: while you have an adorable store and good coffee, if a coffee lover comes in and requests your hand prepared coffee when that is what you offer, consider giving it to them. You are a craft coffee culture. Otherwise it is a huge disappointment. Plenty of parking out front in the mall. Easy access on the highway right next to the gas station. Lots of tables for socializing. Even two tables tucked away for a more private experience.

You'll miss it if you aren't looking for it, and I think that is exactly what makes this place special. On a Tuesday morning we easily found street parking (the only option) right in front. There were a few scattered tables outdoors, but it's too hot so we chose the cool air conditioned inside. There are five tables of two inside, but we had outer pick. The woman behind the counter greeted us warmly and gave us space to decide. My cold brew, straight up, is tasty. In the 1:30min we were here five or so other people came in to order a drink to go. The quiet is exactly what we were looking for to study so it's been a delight. The playlist in the background has been great too. If you're looking for a quiet spot to read, work or study this is the place for you! The drink menu is pretty versatile and they have a few pastries along with sandwiches too.

The cake pops looked like chocolate covered Oreos but they were definitely cake pops. The decor in the interior is cozy with plenty of seating to enjoy your beverage or work.
