Had a fantastic experience at Greenstrret. Place was very busy but were able to be seated inside right away. Food was fantastic, I had one of the best egg white omelette ever. My friend had pasta fish that was also delicious. We were lucky to have Malika as our server. SHe is friendly, knowledgeable . She made our experience fantastic. Looking forward to a prompt return. Thank you

Greenstreet Cafe epitomizes in clearest ways what Coconut Grove is all about: sitting on a tree lined street, watching people pass by through the inevitably calm afternoon, enjoying classic American dishes without a worry in the world. Having been opened here since 1990 by a husband and wife duo, Greenstreet Cafe brings European charm into this American neighborhood. While being known for several key dishes like the Lamb Burger, there is also a good amount of Italian inspiration here with an excellent meat lasagna. Folks working here are attentive and sharp, happily offering their ideas on favorite dishes from a restaurant with such a longstanding history. Come relaxed, enjoy the moment and leave satisfied, so should be the motto of Greenstreet.

Greenstreet is an institution in Coconut Grove...see and be seen. Celebrities galore. Solid location at a pivotal corner of the main drag. And you can choose to sit either indoors or outdoors (most of which is shaded). Brunch will inevitably entail a wait. But for us, two people, it was only 15 minutes at prime time. We got a pesto Parmesan omelette and a Nova Benedict. Both were tasty and came along with preferred modifications. And the whole wheat protein pancakes were legit (you don't really need the large portion).

I went for the baked brie and was happily surprised to see they also had Lulu's Asian Steak Salad on the menu. The baked brie was definitely the highlight for me. The steak on the salad, unfortunately, wasn't cooked very well--it was tough and chewy. I don't really eat meat, so I ended up giving most of it to my friend, though I did try a bite myself. Our server (I forgot his name) was great--very attentive, friendly, and made sure we were taken care of throughout the meal, which really added to the experience. And while the sidewalks in the Grove are definitely less than handicap-friendly, it was still worth the trek lol. Good food, great service, and overall a nice time.

We were in Florida for a couple weeks visiting. Green street is located in such an adorable area. They were busy for breakfast, we didn't have too long of a wait, and we got to explore the local state park across the street. We ordered the nova Benedict and the goat cheese omelet. Along with their delicious bloody Maria's. We ordered multiple of these! The bloody Maria may be small but it packs so many flavors. The shrimp are cooked perfectly, slightly still warm from being cooked. I love cheese and appreciated the cheese stuffed olive and the cube of cheese . The nova lox was delicious, a Benedict with cold smoked salmon. The potatoes were delicious, crispy exterior and fluffy interior. Which is hard to accomplish with smaller cubed potatoes. The goat cheese omelette was very cheesy, too cheesy. But it was still good. I appreciate that they had a baguette as a bread option. Our second visit we ordered the nova and the grove Benedict , along with more bloody marias, a caramel latte and a matcha. We unfortunately never received our lattes. Which they were pretty busy on Easter Sunday. They also did run out of shrimp so we received one Bloody Maria without a shrimp. But our second round of bloody Maria's the shrimps were back! The nova was delicious again, the grove was okay. Id recommend the nova over the grove. Overall great breakfast and bloody Maria's.

Update: Green Street Cafe in Coral Gables is incredible, and a huge thank you to Nora for taking such great care of me. Of course, being in the area, I had to come back. The Order: * Pistachio French Toast: One of the best things I have ever eaten. The crunchiness of the pistachios mixed with the chocolate chips is an absolute flavor explosion. * Sunny Side Up Eggs and Potatoes: Immaculate. The potatoes were cut into tiny squares and mixed with delicious crispy onions, ensuring every single bite had a taste of everything. The service is very quick, and the price to taste ratio is an amazing combination. Green Street Cafe has definitely not seen the last of me!

100% will tell you to go. The interior is decorated extraordinarily cozy. The staff is super friendly from the front to the servers. The food was great. I HIGHLY recommend ordering the cinnamon roll pancakes it was divine! Outside of that I ordered a hot chocolate and an omelette with cream cheese and chives. Everything there was super good and well balanced flavors. Will definitely come back to try more

We were taken to Greenstreet Cafe by a local who hadn't been there in a few years. The staff was great - especially Carmen, who was patient and helpful and proactive. Our food was delicious - everything from the omelet to the pasta to the tuna sandwich and lamb burger. The sweet potato fries came out way overcooked and as soon as the plate was set down, Carmen brought fresh, perfectly cooked ones. The downside was the noise level. We had chosen to eat inside, thinking it would be cooler. It really wasn't and it was almost too loud to have a conversation. Parking is a challenge and the restaurant and patios stayed full the whole time we were there.

The food is consistently delicious. Service is good and lunchtime gets very busy. So the waitstaff will be very busy and sometimes they need to be prompted for attention. But they're always very nice. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor seating is on a somewhat busy street with cars and pedestrians. Indoors is best.

Greenstreet Cafe is always a reliable choice. There's something on the menu for everyone, the food is consistently delicious, and the atmosphere and service are welcoming.

Great service, good and atmosphere. All the food we tried was amazing!!! Our server was fantastic, great spot for people watching and pets are welcomed!

Great food, amazing service and the perfect indoor/ outdoor ambiance. We sat outside on the patio and had an early dinner. We enjoyed everything. My salmon pasta was delicious. Drinks were good too. No wonder this gem has been in the Grove for so long.

They served the smallest member of our party as though she was an honored guest. Thank you!

Service, Comfort and friendly atmosphere. Timely use of ordering and delivery of meals. Waitress was very gracious and the serving team backed each other with accuracy and diligence to make us feel at home.

Do they have happy hour and if so, when?

Hi, yes they have Happy hour every day except Sunday from. 4pm to 7pm and sometimes they have Happy hour at 11pm till close depending on the season. Hope this helps!

Are they open Christmas Eve or Christmas?

    Yes

Until what time do they serve breakfast?

    After they open😂‼️

    Unfortunately, no.

This poolside bar offers a shaded area with bar stools as well as poolside service. Cocktail menu is small, but for a reason. Ingredients were carefully selected and you can tell effort and thought were put into crafting the drink selection. I sampled 3 of the crafted cocktails on the menu. Each drink stood out and had its own unique flavor profile. They are light, but strong at the same time. These are excellent drinks if your looking to hang by the pool or share some laughs with friends while taking in the breathtaking views of coconut grove, the ocean, and Miami epic skyline. We did order 2 appetizers, the conch fritters and hummus. The conch was crispy and perfectly cooked inside, the aoli sauce complimented it perfectly. It came with 6 fritters and they went down very well. Not greasy or under filled. The hummus was delicious and the baked pita bread complimented it well. Sip Sip is an oasis in the desert. I took advantage of their 4 course $60 dinner special (not listed on their website but offered every day, including weekends) and went with the Caesar Salad, 14 oz skirt steak, fries and flan. Each dish was very good, the steak was cooked a perfect medium rare, the fries were crispy and good, and the flan was probably the best I've ever had. I enjoyed a very good glass of Malbec reserve with my meal. La Cabrera also offers a $39 lunch special. Ambiance was charming and the service was also very good. A restaurant that still comes to mind months later is usually doing something right, and this visit confirmed what we loved about our first experience. We made reservations without any issues a couple of days before. The restaurant was clean, bright, and had not filled up yet with the busy Sunday family crowd. Upon being seated, we were provided with the regular menu and the Miami Spice Lunch menu. The Miami Spice Lunch, which has now become a daily Executive Lunch special, is a standout value. The portion sizes and the quality of the Argentinian steaks speak for themselves. As a group, here's what we ordered: Starters - Ham and Cheese Empanadas - Morcilla - Grilled Provolone Each starter delivered exactly what you'd expect from an Argentinian steakhouse. The empanadas were warm and flaky, the morcilla was rich and well seasoned, and the grilled provolone came out bubbling and perfect for sharing amongst our table with the restaurant's complementary bread basket. Entrée: - New York Strip Steak, 12 oz This was the only cut of steak we ordered. It was cooked to each of our desired temperatures and seasoned simply, letting the quality of the beef speak for itself. It is clear why La Cabrera has a reputation as one of Latin America's best restaurants. Sauces on the side, which included a BBQ sauce, and a chimichurri, were left for our choosing and were used for the side dishes more than anything. Sides: - French Fries - Jasmine Rice Both sides complemented the steak well. The fries were crispy and large in size. My father-in-law, a cuban man who's very serious about his rice dishes, thought the jasmine rice was very good. Dessert: - Dulce de Leche Ice Cream with Cone - Dulce de Leche Pancakes The ice cream was smooth and rich, while the pancakes were finished with a sugary powder coating that was impossible to resist. This lunch reinforced why La Cabrera continues to be stand out in a crowded field of steakhouses. Between the consistency, generous portions, and the value of their daily menu specials, it's an easy recommendation whether you're bringing family, hosting someone from out of town, or simply looking for a great lunch in Coconut Grove.

The Beso de Fuego cocktail is a must-try if you like spicy tequila passion fruit drinks, and the dates, frito mixto, and salt cod croquettes were cooked beautifully. Unfortunately, they sat us in the most uncomfortable table and chair set up in the restaurant. In the middle, they have these very short tables with uncomfortable stools and chairs that make dining awkward. Not to mention, that two of these tables are so close together that my friends and I were bumping elbows and touching the backs of the other dining guests in the table right behind us. And, to make matters worse, we not only had to be in an uncomfortable and tight space with the guests behind us, but we had to endure their yelling almost in our ears the entire time because the music in that restaurant is extremely loud. Music can be loud, but it is to the point where you cannot even hear yourself when speaking or you can only hear the other guests yelling. Suggestions to restaurant management, get rid of the awkward, short tables and chairs, or ask guests when they're making the reservation if they want to sit in that type of setting. Also, you may want to separate those type of tables and stools because they are WAY too close for comfort. And, consider bringing down the music level a few decibels.

I've been going to Koko since it opened, and until now I've always had great experiences…read more Unfortunately, my recent visit during the Mexico World Cup match was one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had in a long time. Before going, we called the restaurant to ask if they would be showing the World Cup games, and we were told they would be showing all of them. Based on that, we expected a good viewing experience. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. There aren't enough TVs, many of the views are obstructed, and we actually had to move to the bar just to see part of the game. Even then, the music was so loud that we couldn't hear the match at all. When we asked the manager about it, he told us that ownership's instructions were to play music instead of the game's audio. That was especially surprising considering this is a Mexican-owned restaurant and the match was a Mexico World Cup game. The biggest disappointment, however, was the service. To be fair, the restaurant was only about half full, so this wasn't a situation where the staff was overwhelmed by a packed house or unusually heavy demand. I was there with two female friends. I ordered a martini while my friends simply asked for water. The bartender reacted as if asking for water was somehow an inconvenience. We weren't even served chips and salsa until we repeatedly waved down members of the staff and specifically requested them. The bartenders consistently ignored us. My friends waited nearly 20 minutes before anyone came back so they could order their martinis. We later ordered guacamole and the Leña skirt steak. The guacamole arrived promptly, but the steak never did. When we asked another bartender to check on it, he looked in the system and told us there was no food order entered at all. This was unbelievable because the original bartender had described the dish, asked how we wanted the steak cooked, and appeared to take the order. He simply never entered it. When we complained to the manager about the missing food, he told us the kitchen was already closed but that he would "make an exception" and have the steak prepared for us. That response really upset me because this wasn't us asking for special treatment--it was the restaurant trying to correct its own mistake. I told him to simply cancel the order. He then said not to worry because he wouldn't charge us for it, as if not charging for a meal would somehow make up for the experience we had just endured. I declined the offer, but he responded by saying he would bring it anyway and that if we didn't want it, we could just leave it there. To me, that response was even more dismissive and completely missed the point. Throughout the evening, the bartenders were inattentive, dismissive, and consistently rude. Their attitude completely overshadowed what had always been one of my favorite restaurants in Coconut Grove. By halftime, we had simply had enough. Instead of continuing what should have been a fun night, we decided to leave the restaurant and go home, where we watched the rest of the Mexico match in the comfort of my home. Sadly, that turned out to be the best part of the night. I'm writing this review because I know Koko is capable of much better. My previous visits have always been enjoyable, which made this experience even more disappointing. However, if you're planning to watch a World Cup match there, I would strongly recommend choosing another venue. While they may tell you they'll be showing the game, the viewing experience is poor, the game audio is replaced with loud music, and based on our visit, the service was, without question, the worst I've experienced there since the restaurant opened. I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously because Koko has always been one of my favorite restaurants, and I'd like to be able to recommend it again. Unfortunately, after this experience, I simply can't.

We had a seat at the bar where our small dog was also welcome, and each started with a cocktail, then ordered the parrilla special to share. Everything was very good and we managed to somehow finish it all aside from 1 piece of steak, so not bad. We were offered a digestif of limoncello or dulce de leche. We chose the limoncello and it was the perfect end to our meal. There were all amazing! Also good was the kimchi, the spicy cucumber salad (with a slight kick), the esquites with the corn off the cob, and the black beans with sofrito. Our server was great. The restaurant has many seating options; we loved sitting outside in the back area.

Bar Taco never misses on service -- our server was fantastic, I just wish I'd caught his name. The vibe here is noticeably different from the Aventura location -- much more of a club atmosphere with a live DJ, which honestly adds a lot of energy to the night. If that's your scene, you'll love it. Food-wise, mostly excellent. The margaritas were great, the plantains are always a hit, and the tres leches was solid -- loved the coconut flavor, just couldn't finish it after everything else. The pork belly tacos are my usual favorite, but this visit they missed the mark slightly -- the pork portion was too big for the taco and the shell had already fallen apart before I could even pick it up. More of an execution issue than a flavor one, because the ingredients were still great. Everything else was on point. Still one of my favorite spots -- just hope they dial in the taco construction next time.
