I ordered theiugh Inkind app which recommend as it helps with dinnign out and earning cash! So I orders and it wa seedy before time. I walked in and it was there waiting and staff made sure to deliver it directly to me. The place is vibrant and still buzzing on a cold day. The hall and oats was great and I would deff get a bigger size next time. The skin sandwich was okay, lacked flavor and wasn't able to finish it. I may. It's a cute little corner coffee shop and it's right by the water so if it's cold out like it was for us then it's very convenient, service was nice to us, the cocoa's didn't blow me out of the water but they did the trick. Would I come back again ? Sure. read more

When I was there recently, I had their Valentine's Day special, the Iced Love Affair, which was delicious. I will regularly grab a breakfast sandwich which is great on-the-go too. Ordered a regular latte with whole milk no sugar... Smooth sailing from my tongue through my throat, warm and relaxing Gregory's therapy could last until lunch time. Maybe because it's my first time here, I had a little episode at the cashier and needed more time and assistant, but the barista was nice and patient with me, making quite a few attempts to solve my transaction issue. I can't say that Gregory's is a favorite of mine when it comes to coffee however I did find my go to here. The Honey Badger which is cold brew, honey, and almond milk. Pure joy on a warm day. It's definitely a perfect blend which is not too sweet. What I do like most about Gregory's is that it has tables and chairs set up for people who want to come and do work on their computer. I've worked from here a few times. There's plugs close to every table. It is a much smaller location. However on the contrary it's super loud in there with the music so you would have to be able to drown that out if working. read more

I ordered 3 drinks and below is my ranking. 1) Caramel macchiato- taste great! Didn't have to add anything else. 2) Iced nitro cold brew- it tasted a bit sour for me. I had to add more milk to balance it. 3) Nu brew - I'll avoid this. The description sounds very promising but I don't taste any Nutella and it's very diluted. Can't even taste the coffee. First off, what a beautiful space! Super modern and thoughtful decor. I love it! I also never realized that the glasses on their logo actually are 2 mugs - that's a smart and thoughtfully designed icon! Now on to the drinks: 1) pumpkin spice latte - it's nice! What attracted me to this is they make their pumpkin syrup in house. It's not as sweet as Starbucks'. 2) gingerbread latte - another drink that uses a homemade syrup. I'm not a fan though, the flavor doesn't seem to come through. 3) nitro cold brew - a little more acidic than I would have liked. I prefer Starbucks' 4) nu brew - not a fan. I had a $5 credit for my first app purchase, so I splurged for the Honey Badger Hotshot. I was intrigued by honey/coffee combo. It was pretty good, but I'll probably stick to drip coffee in the future which is smooth and flavorful. I also ordered a croissant to go; after warming it up in the microwave for a few seconds - it was delicious! The app order was easy to place, and I was happy with how quickly my coffee was ready especially for a Sunday morning. While I wasn't inside for long, this space was clean and well decorated. Ridiculous. Ordered from this place via DoorDash two days in a row (1/27/24 and 1/28/24 morning/afternoon) and on BOTH days not ONE item I ordered was actually in the order. Completely different items than I ordered (someone else's order; one item was even from Uber Eats, not DoorDash!) There is no way to get in contact with them, and DoorDash often won't honor the refund request. I spent $93 total and didn't receive even one item that I actually ordered. So disappointing. Half the time they forgot, half the time they said they were out (how hard can it be to stock guacamole?) 100% of the time they changed me for it. Gregory's has quickly become my favorite place to work and hang in Hoboken. Fantastic coffee, great WiFi, spacious seating, and of course a phenomenal barista staff (shoutout to Shiny Sheni Penny!). The hot Fall Oat Boy (large, of course) remains the single best coffee beverage in town. At the same time, the Flower Power drink must be eliminated --- it tastes like medicine. Very bad customer service at this location. I placed an order for a blueberry muffin with butter. I was not told at the time they do not have butter at their franchise. I paid moved down waiting for my order. It came and saw no butter and asked again and that's when I was told they do not have butter. So I said I don't want it then can I have a refund, well thats when the attitude started! The person who took my order was extremely rude about refunding my order. Not one person apologized for the misunderstanding, just a lot of eye rolling and attitude. Will not frequent that location ever again! I have been frequenting Gregory's in NYC for years, and their fresh coffee is the perfect addition to the Hoboken scene. The interior design at this location is beautiful, modern but also cafe-cozy, the mobile order service was quick despite the standard 9 am rush, the menu is extensive (truly something for everyone), and I really appreciate that Elmhurst cashew milk is offered!
