I enjoy the ceremonial grade matcha lattes! Good quality matcha and fast friendly service.

Close to full even when Summit itself feels dead on a Sunday afternoon. Huge, tall windows that let in tons of gorgeous outside light. Table and booth seating. On my first visit, the manager was working the bar himself and got my drink out before I got back from the bathroom, despite the line. That was impressive. Unfortunately, the experience was undercut by the same person, who was adamantly, audibly instructing the nervous first-day-on-the-job cashier that ceramic cups were only for cappuccinos and lattes. For me this is the wrong decision. Mugs are reusable and help me feel unrushed, improving the in-store experience. Indeed, I specifically asked him to put my Fall Oat Boy - a hot espresso drink with oatmilk, cinnamon, hazelnut, and maple syrup - in other words, a flavored latte! - to come in a mug. It was denied.

First time at Gregorys, even though we always see it in the city. Love that the menu is not overwhelming. Plenty of seating at the Summit, NJ location, easily accessible off the train station. Located in a cute downtown area with lots to wander into and window shop! Recommend going less sweet/unsweetened with the lattes -- but the oat milk one was so creamy! The 007 is a fav, as espreeso tonics hit now that it's getting warmer.

Great place, nice alternative to Starbucks. Love that they have calorie counts for the drinks. Friendly, accommodating staff. They loaned me a pen and when they saw me waiting for the bathroom told me when it was available. I get the honey badger and love it. They have vegetarian, vegan and meat options.

This would be a solid 3.5 stars, but because the one thing that I ordered for myself (it was an office drop) was almost undrinkable. I was so excited when I stumbled upon this place that is only a block away from my destination.. trying to support local cafes as opposed to the Starbucks and DDs of the world.. Anyways, place is very inviting on the main downtown street of Summit. Very open, clean, airy.. the typical modern cafe look.. almost sterile trend now. Service was decent enough.. not overly pleasant by any means. I ordered a bunch of chocolate chip cookies and a box of joe for an office I support.. along with an apple cider cold brew latte that I was extremely excited to taste.. and for only 89 calories.. ok! So apparently it is cold brew coffee with a sweet foam made from skim milk and apple cider? Unfortunately, it was somewhat bitter and nowhere near as palatable as the cold brews that I typically enjoy. With no hint of apple at all. I'm not sure how the box of coffee and cookies were, but the office seemed excited to receive. I guess I will have to give other things on the menu a shot..

    Just love the sign...

Again, seeing staffs are trying to be what they can be the best for the job. The store is still very clean maintained; and food and drinks are up to their value; so the star from me for the store remains four-stars Only two humble suggestions on this update review.. 1. Croissant is still good burnt and sad. I wonder if it's the setting from the SOP? How could both my previous toasted croissant and this toasted croissant with same look? 2. Adding hanging hook in the restrooms or the back of the door. There's no place for customer to hang her purse or backpack.

Really enjoyed trying out Gregory's Coffee for the first time today. Initially what drew us in was the sign outside they gave off a lot of personality and inside it was a fun mix between a coffee shop and a hair salon. It was bright, lively, packed with people and music, and just had a great vibe. We tried out their seasonal pumpkin cold brew, Smashing Pumpkin and it was great. They also had a ton of pastries and other drinks that I'll be excited to try out next time. Definitely recommend Gregory's!

Cute spot to chill and grab a coffee. It's not that quiet though. I thought their coffee was expensive at almost $10.

Specifically, their cold brew which is extremely smooth and strong, and in my opinion you don't even need to put anything in it unless you really want something sweet, although why would you get a cold brew if that's the case lol. Also packs quite a bit of caffeine so you'll be good for the rest of the day. Their pastries are pretty solid as well, although a bit on the pricier side. The cafe itself is on the smaller side but still an ample amount of seating. It's excellent for meeting with a friend, however the tables are rather small so it is less study friendly unless you manage to snag one of the bigger tables by the entrance. Which is admittedly pretty tough to do unless you get here right when it opens or catch a lucky break when someone leaves - I speak from experience. That said, it's overall a pretty solid spot to get work done. Parking in downtown Summit is a pain in general, I usually just park in the lot and walk over. Limit is at 5 hours and you will have to walk back if you want to extend it. There might be parking available by the cafe, but I'm personally less confident on how long you can to stay before getting ticketed/booted, so do so at your own risk.

We then split a pastel de nata. The service was very polite and explained what some of the menu items were for us, and our sandwiches came very quickly. Each sandwich was super hot and fresh. I especially liked the crispy chicken sandwich and will definitely be returning for it. It was simple but the chicken was crispy, the bread was fresh, and it was loaded with fresh veggies. The pastel was just okay for us, but we ate pastel snobs. It didn't really compare to the ones we had in Lisbon, but it is comparable to some of the better bakeries in Newark. The ambiance was also very cute. It's self-seat and casual, but that was perfect for our quick lunch stop. They also have a cute nook if you prefer some privacy.

My wife goes there fairly often; I, on the other hand, only go occasionally. Over the years, I had always been happy with the quality of the products they sell, but lately the pricing has gotten completely out of hand. We were there this past Saturday for breakfast. We shared a shakshuka and had two mocha coffees in the table area, and my wife also ordered a salmon toast. That was it. Somehow, this breakfast cost as much as four meals we had at an Israeli restaurant in NYC the very next day -- and, by the way, those meals were far superior to anything I've ever had at Liv. While at the NYC restaurant, we noticed they charge only $7 for fresh-squeezed orange juice -- in a larger portion than Liv's $12 glass of OJ. Their shakshuka is also only $16, compared with Liv's $22. And this place is in the heart of NYC, not in suburbia New Jersey. I also used to love getting Liv's cookies and croutons, but those have become expensive beyond reason as well. Two packs of cookies, one crouton, and a mocha coffee came to over $50. Seriously? At this point, it is clear to me that the owner's strategy is to keep raising prices to see how much he can get away with. Well, as far as I'm concerned, I'm done. I will no longer be patronizing this kind of price gouging.
