They had a lot of alternative milk options and my order arrived beautifully wrapped so that the sandwich was still warm and nothing was squished. I was so excited for this place to finally open so I can stop going to Starbucks. I can't wait to try the pastries but WOW the coffee?! It's SO GOOD. So far I have had the flower power and the hall and oats and both have been so delicious. Not only is it delicious but it's cheaper than Starbucks too! This place just opened up a few months ago and I'm so happy. The coffee is good. I've been there a few times now and my drink was made well and I have no complaints. The first time I went we ordered a few items from the bakery and they were delicious. The second time, we ordered bags of coffee to take home. They are able to grind the coffee there if you don't want whole beans. The coffee was delicious when I made it at home. But above all else, is their amazing customer service. That seems so hard to come by these days but both times we've been in there, the employees were so friendly and helpful. This last time, the employee even went as far as to change out the bag of coffee I chose because a part of the bag was slightly damaged and he didn't want me to take that bag home. I went in on 12/17/24, at about 9:50 AM. I got the hard boiled eggs and the Coco-Oats. After paying, I looked for a spoon for my oats. When I couldn't find one, I asked one of the two female employees if there was a spoon. The lady I spoke to glanced around, and then told me they were out of spoons. She didn't even attempt to look in the back or offer to refund me. She was not friendly and appeared to not want to help much. I then grabbed a fork and she stated it's as good as a spoon. Although the meal was fine and the store appeared to be clean, the customer service had one foot in the grave and the other foot on a banana peel. Outrageously poor customer service. Walking in I was very excited to to Gregory's because I've heard a lot of people talk about how good it was. It was very mid! It took forever for us to order and when we did order they kept walking away making it very awkward. I got a matcha latte and a blueberry muffin which were both good just nothing to ride home about. There are plenty of seats at this location however they are small and really close together. I'd come again if someone else wanted too but I won't go out of my way again. read more

Cute little coffee shop right near the metro. I decided to order before I grabbed coffee today and ordered through the app. If you make a new account you do get a few coffee up to a $6.50 value -- I did have to buy a second coffee before that promo showed up on my checkout screen. I did have issues trying to order online and use Apple Pay so I did have to put in my car information. I went to pickup my order about 2 minutes after the app said it would be ready and it was waiting for me. I was pleasantly surprised when the barista asked me if I would like a drink carrier. I ordered an iced caramel macchiato and an iced pumpkin latte and have only had the pumpkin latte so far which was very nice. read more

Ok coffee. Nothing special. I'm Italian and are very picky about coffee. Americans have different standards for coffee I suppose. The bathroom was disgusting though. One bathroom was not working and the people working there had an bad attitude about opening the other one that was locked but working. The bathroom had balls of black hair (like tumbleweed) on the floor and no toilet paper. This was at opening time and not at end of day. Not going there again for sure. Ugh read more

APP is "hit-or-miss". Unable to find locations nearby so you can't place an order through it. Inconsistent quality. Twice received almost undrinkable coffees. We had to doctor them up at home to make them tolerable but for $8/coffee essentially, it shouldn't be that way. When I let them know about the problem they quickly apologized and said they would provide a "credit" for next time but it never showed up. The only reason I stop here is as an occasional favor to my wife. There are many other better choices out there like Compass Coffee so if you like to gamble, more power to you. read more

Mid, not great. I keep trying Gregory's bc it's right in my neighborhood, love the order ahead. Some drinks are good, if a bit different, others dont quite work. *Don't get the Proffee - tastes like powdered protein shake in coffee: grainy, not mixed, no flavor. *Don't get the Yogurt Parfait unless it looks super fresh - granola was mush, fruit *color* had run into the yogurt and granola. *Do try the Salted Caramel Cold Brew, but know it is VERY salted caramel that covers any coffee flavor, and a bit sweet. *Do try the Honey Badger - a bit nutty, a bit sweet with that honey flavor, pretty delicious. *Banana bread is yum. Outdoor seating area is nice now that the trees and greenery have grown in there, but it's in a pretty high traffic spot between the Metro and the bus stop. Service is quick, sometimes friendly, but no worse than your local busy Starbucks. read more

Food is alright. It just took too long for my mobile order 15+ minutes instead of 5. Listed.

The display haven't been replaced, so everything looked old, plus adding to that there was also a fly flying inside and landing on the patries. A minute later we weren't able to eat in peace because there were more flies flying around the table area-- service was fine... nothing special. It was disappointing because the coffee shop looks so vibrant, inviting and so clean from the outside. read more

Went for a 16-ounce, Greg's House Blend coffee. The line moves pretty slow as they start working on each order sequentially after being placed. After several minutes, I get to the front of the line and order their house blend coffee - no issues. Cost was $3.63 and I leave a $1 tip. You would think someone would pour the coffee and get me on my way but my order is processed sequentially along with the other people who may be getting food or more complex drinks. Still not a problem. I wait 15 minutes and finally get called to the counter. The barista says sorry but we are all out of our house blend can I get you something else. Ugghhh : ( Okay, the place has beautiful decor. The food and coffee is pretty good. Some definite improvements can be made to the experience. Not sure I will be back unless its an emergency or someone else wants to go. read more

Went to Gregory's today for the first time and had a wonderful experience. All of the baristas were super friendly and full of great recommendations. I scooped up a bag of the Night Vision coffe beans, which they were nice enough to grind for me. Then, the extra helpful barista used the Night Vision in my oat milk latte so that I could taste it. It was perfect! I won't hesitate to come back. Didn't try any of the pastries or treats, but plan to in the future. read more

The DMV sandwich was a sad excuse for a BEC and for the price I would have just gone across the street to Starbucks and gotten two sandwiches that I know would've been good enough for the same price. I'm so glad we finally have a non-pretentious coffee shop in navy yard that also sells vegan food! The app is super easy to use to order ahead and also only had a wait time of 4-6 minutes which seems unheard of nowadays! When I arrived our food was ready to go and everyone was super friendly. The space is clean, there are plenty of seats outside, truly a wonderful place to enjoy breakfast. Our coffees were a 10. The vegan breakfast sandwich, and overnight oats also a 10! The only thing we didn't like were the vegan donuts. They were pretty dry/tasted somewhat stale. But other than that, we loved our food and will definitely be back!!! read more

We tried this place today. We ordered the Hall and Oats cold brew and drip coffee - both were pretty good. We had issues with the food, though. We ordered the blueberry muffin and croissant deluxe sandwhich. Unfortunately, the muffin was extremely doughy in the middle (maybe it wasn't cooked long enough - see photo) and the sandwhich didn't resemble the photo at all (small and came smushed up like a burrito - no photo taken, as my husband ate it immediately). We will definitely go back and just assume this food experience as growing pains. Excellent customer service. read more
