Fantastic customer service! First, when we arrived every employee was working hard with a smile on their face. They are enjoying their job. We ordered 2 smoothies, but they said they were out of bananas and couldn't make them. One employee said if you're willing to wait 10 min I'll run to the store. As I drink my overpriced, painfully average coffee, I'll say: The bakery items are behind a glass "wall" which is not enclosed. In other words, any fly or insect that is buzzing around the room is welcome to go right to the bakery goods, and that is exactly what I saw. While waiting in line, I observed ~6 flies in the bakery good area and landing on the goods. Yuck. read more

Staff was friendly. Coffee was good. Food was okay. Organization was lacking. We came here for the first time, while on vacation. The cashier gave us a great explanation of the story behind the business while taking our order. As soon as we paid, we stepped aside to wait...within a few minutes our food was done but then one of the baristas came out and asked what our drink order was because they lost the order. Stopped in for a coffee this morning. Ordered a caramel macchiato and it was so delicious. Don't know how they got it to taste exactly like a caramel candy without the fake artificial taste most places have in their flavorings. I got a medium house blend coffee with steamed soy milk and the vegan scramble sandwich. The first thing I noticed as I walked in was the incredible bakery smell even through my mask. I took a moment to survey the baked goods and loved the sign that it's baked in house, which made sense for the smell. I was pleased to see one vegan bakery option. I am dairy free, not vegan, but it's hard to find options for baked goods or breakfast sandwiches. The vegan scramble has a flavorful Rosemary focaccia bread. This coffee spot is a great spot to grab your favorite drink or food and decompress. It's my favorite spot because they offer Vegan food options. As most of you may know, when it comes to finding vegan friendly cafes and coffee spots, it can be tough, depending on your location. And when you do, there's not much options, but at Gregorys coffee the service is great. And very convenient especially living in the Washington DC area. You can order ahead and pick using their app or you can place your order onsite and grab a seat to relax and enjoy your food or beverage. My favorite is the Vegan burrito, it's Delicious. read more

TLDR: 16 oz latte was weak and flavorless, they likely don't increase # of shots from their small when sizing up; banana nut pound cake was tasty but dry and overcooked. I ordered a 16oz whole milk latte, banana nut pound cake, and beans through Uber eats. The business didn't receive the latte order so my driver connected me and then they made it fresh. However, the latte is very weak and milk dominated the cup so there is something off with how they dose espresso (grind setting, grams, and/or number of shots) for lattes. I, as I think most would at this price point, would like to be able to still taste the notes of the espresso in my latte, but I couldn't taste them or really anything. I suspect that it would taste much better as a flat white or latte with about 6-10 oz of milk. Most cafes increase the amount of espresso when sizing up latte. I'm pretty sure Gregory's does not. I think the beans roast (also not disclosed on their menu) might be a light (or medium), which I prefer, but with light roast beans I prefer less milk or an extra shot or two at larger sizes. I might come back and order a flat white but I encourage everyone to add a shot or two of espresso when ordering a 16 or 20 oz latte. But for $5.65 on Uber eats for 16oz latte, it should taste good without modifications. I would appreciate if they can update their menu on how many shots of espresso typically come with each size because they don't post that info for any size. read more

My favorite place to get coffee. It's always the same two staff members when I go in and they're both always extremely friendly and smiling. Such a fun atmosphere and always seem clean. Salted caramel cold brew is always a 10/10 with flavor. I honestly can't say enough positive things about this location!! read more

This Gregory's coffee location is the nicest and sweetest in town! Walking into their fully packed store--inside and outside--yesterday makes me genuinely happy because their staff is the kindest. Every time I visit, Rashawnda and the entire staff treat me warmly and as one of their own. I do not go anywhere w/o my GC's kanteen full of coffee. Their recommends are always spot on. Their breakfast sandwich with the Sriracha sauce is one of their best. I also highly recommend their blueberry muffins just make sure you leave a few behind for all us other BBM lovers. My roommate and I came here to do some homework and grab a coffee on Saturday 11/19/22 and this was our first time here. The drinks were good, but I have never had worse customer service than we had here. It was a young man and woman working and when we came in and sat down at 5pm they let us know they closed in an hour (6 pm) so we were fine with that and ordered coffee. the man at the cash register was super uninviting overall with such a rude tone in his voice even when he would just say they were out of things, we let this slide though. We are doing our work, the music was great, the vibes of the place were awesome until at 5:05 they started to clean up around us, and spot cleaning is okay, but by 5:30 they were putting up all of the chairs including the ones AT the table we were sitting at??? they would come around and wipe the same table over again to kind of hint to us but we were still working but you could feel the energy in the air. At 5:40 someone came in for coffee and I heard the man turn the guy away and say they dumped out the coffee (20 min before close?). at 5:45 they turned off the music and told us the lobby was closed basically telling us to leave. the drinks and the ambiance was awesome but the customer service could use some work. I would come here again in hopes that there are nicer workers. read more
