I was able to find something fairly quickly - the racks are organized well (shirts, skirts, dresses, jeans, slacks, leggings, etc.) I went to try on my findings and there was no one at the fitting room to unlock the door. I went to front counter and asked if someone was available to unlock a door and was told to wait. Fine, I get it there's a line - you're busy...Meanwhile there was a girl at the door greeting entering customers who could have stepped away for 5 mins without the world ending. I finally get a fitting room - not because an employee came over but because someone exited. By the time I exited the fitting room the line was twice as long and did not seem to be moving so I left without buying anything. This location always has a line, never has someone available to unlock the fitting room, and the cashiers move at a glacial pace. Yeah, now I remember why I go here once a year if that when I visit Bay Plaza...You might as well try your luck elsewhere.

The sales rack isn't very good, but there is some nice clothing if you look, for prices that won't hurt your wallet. Like the users above me said, the area's atmosphere takes away from the store - there are projects surrounding it, they do check bags at the entrance, and the workers are pretty apathetic and don't look happy to be there at all.

I used to do all my shopping online because the closest store was in NJ but now that one a Torrid store is open in the Bronx I will be shopping there more often. This store can't close, there's lots of "Plus Size" stores out there but this sell plus size clothing that is fun for young plus size women, I might not be "young" in years but in my heart I am and I love their style as long I know what I can pull off at my age. I just learn that shopping at Torrid online and sending the package to be picked up at the store is more economical than having it delivered at home, Torrid don't have a set shipping rate and I saved $32 in shipping which I spend in 2 items in the store that wasn't available online. I have always loved shopping at Torrid and I am excited they have a store in the Bronx, it would have been preferable if it would have been in the city but traveling all the way to Bay Plaza wasn't so bad.
