BUYER BEWARE: My experience with Grieco Mazda of Delray Beach went smoothly on purchasing day. I was disappointed in the "detailing" that was offered for my new car, which consisted of removing the stickers off the windows, and that's it. My car was still dirty and smudged in several areas. Unfortunately, after my purchase, it was and is pretty much IMPOSSIBLE to reach anyone via phone OR email there, ever. I was given incomplete information about a very important process they were supposed to take care of for me with the state of Florida, and when I tried to follow up about it via phone days later, I called SO MANY times and left voice-mails with several people, over several days, including my sales lady, the finance guy, and Xavier the manager, who when I persisted and emailed and kept calling, finally returned my call. This return call was weeks after I had purchased my vehicle and started trying to contact someone at Grieco. I was given no apology from Xavier for the difficulty I had reaching anyone and getting a document I needed or any information. In fact, he stated I never left him any voice-mail because he checks it daily.....yeah no he doesn't return the call. I also sent him and others at Grieco emails with zero response. Dont bother writing Grieco staff or managers emails, its a waste of time. Frankly, the entire ordeal was highly distressing. I am so disappointed in Grieco Mazda. After my 10th or 12th call, I insisted to the rude receptionist that I would wait on hold until she found me someone who could speak to me and help me, she said "they're busy with customers so they can't speak to you", I had to gently remind her, I am a customer! I just purchased a car from you guys!!!!! Clearly to Grieco Mazda, as soon as you sign the dotted lines, you cease to exist and they will NOT give you the time of day. I simply want to say I sincerely hope nobody has to experience what I went through and I want to warn others to think twice about dealing with this "dealer" and their unprofessional staff. We worked with Sarah at Grieco Mazda on two occasions: once to test drive a CX-5 and CX 50, and again to sign a new lease. Sarah, not unlike the full staff, was friendly. Sarah, too, was patient and kind, which was important because we had our young children with us on our first visit. Sarah was eager and engaged, and worked collaboratively with other staff to meet our needs. When we posed questions, she was not daunted. When I did get a woman, she told me I couldn't bring my car in for a week and I had an immediate problem that was fixed with a new battery. Considering the average age in Palm Beach county is 45 y/o and climbing. As we all know, buying a car takes hours upon hours. If not a full day. I would never do business with this dealership again. They are crocks and a fraud. I traded in my vehicle and finance did not write the contract for the agreed upon price for the trade (which was probably our fault for not reading the contract.) however, the manager gave me between 37k-38k for my car because he harped on what poor condition it was in, as well as I had an accident a few months ago which resulted in over 20,000 dollars in damage. The manager was aware of the accident because he discussed this as reasons for the low offer on my car. They are advertising no accident and selling the car way above 15,000 k more than they bought it for with no added work or money put in the car. No mistake, Mazda is a well made car. Dealerships are another can of worms. Why offer your customers service appointments when, in fact, you can't keep them? Telling you there is an "extended" wait period even with an appointment defeats the very purpose. Should you have other commitments you may want to try another venue. read more

For reasons unknown to me, after having gone to the dealership after having made an appointment, only to be informed that the car had been sold, I have within two weeks, received three notices that the sale price on that car had been lowered. When I contacted those who wrote to me and received no response, I suspected that the names are fictitious . My next step will be the filing of a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Worst dealership in Florida, go there if you wanna get ripped off, Justin the general manager is the biggest asshole, he is not understanding at all, brought my fully loaded cx-5 in and they come back with all these extra fees for a car that's completely under warranty, we should not have to pay for a problem with the screen and ecu..., I had to tow it there cause the car shuts off out of nowhere while driving, and we have full towing service and still had to pay for a tow truck.. will never go back to that dealership again... I placed a review previously about a car we had purchased from Delray Mazda. Mr Michael Grieco responded to my review and informed me to contact Frank Perrone the General Manager at Delray Mazda. I did just that. Mr. Perrone spoke with me about selling us an unsafe car that was in s front end accident. At the time of purchase we saw a car fax showing the car was never in an accident and we never signed paperwork informing us of any accidents. I have been waiting for Mr Perrone to find our purchase paperwork. Although I have been trying to contact him I either get disconnected or get his voice mail. We lost 3000.00 dollars when we sold the car to we buy any car because according to the state of Florida this car was involved in a front end collision where air bags were deployed and the vehicle was disabled. We don't know or were informed that the car had frame damage. I would never had purchased the car knowing this car was unsafe. Yet Mr Grieco or Mr Perrone care that they are selling used vehicles that are not safe and God forbid we had gotten into an accident there was a chance we could have been killed because the frame had previous damage. Would never recommend them due to them selling unsafe cars. And then ignoring this issue. You can't contact Mr Michael Grieco at all and Mr Perrone doesn't respond. Carol Brown read more

My Wife & I got a new 2024 Mazda CX5 in November of 2023. It had a defect on the front passenger seat. Because Sales wanted us to take the car that night, we left with the defect with their promise that they would repair it when we brought it in for the first service. My mistake was that I did not get it in writing. Six months later, when I came in for the first service they told me they had no record of the defect and that they would give me the name of their repair guy and that he would give me their wholesale price. Needles to say that did not sit well with us. I called quire a few times to speak to the General Manager but never got a call back. I called Mazda USA HQ in Irvine and spoke to the Customer Satisfaction Rep who very politely gave me a Case Number. I then went into the Dealership and explained my situation to Jeremy Bonilla, one of the Sales Managers on duty. He was very sympathetic but said there was no record. He then said to call him back in within a couple of days. I did call him back and he said that they agreed to repair the defect. We arranged for the repair and I also needed to have the drivers seat repaired because the power seat was not operating correctly. I brought the car in and Michael Neal, the Service Advisor, was ready and offered me a loaner car because the repair was going to take a bit longer than expected. The repairs did take a bit longer and Justin (sorry but I do not know his last name) and Michael were in constant touch with me advising me about the progress of the repairs. When we got the car back and everything was complete. From my perspective Greico Mazda of Delray is a stand up Dealership. They kept their promise, even though it wasn't in writing and they treated me first class. I'm 78, I've purchased cars wherever I've lived (CT, MD, CA & FL). This Dealership is absolutely one of the best Dealership's I have ever dealt with in my life. I would recommend them to my family, friends and acquaintances. And if I am fortunate enough to get another car, these are definitely my guys! read more

Most dealers suck. And this one is usually only fair. But I had a problem with my CX5 Entertainment display and my lease and warranty are up this winter. And I want to keep the car.... So I girded my loins and made an appointment. Annie took care of me, I think this is the second time she has worked for me on a problem. Not only did she do everything right, she even made an actually funny joke. Bottom line, she actually cares. And The tech actually replaced the whole unit (as consumer reports say this is the only weakness of this suv) and it is working properly now.
