This is one of the last few good burger joints around. The food is so tasty I love coming here

Some days I want Ruth's Chris, and some days, I just want a quick, solid burger. When I crave the latter, Griff's is where I go! A fantastic, no frills, fresh-cooked burger! You can't go wrong, here. I always order a #1 with mayo, no onions, with a Dr. Pepper! (Side note: The ice here is GREAT! Only crushed ice enthusiast will appreciate this detail!). This is my top favorite place to come to.! They never fail to satisfy my needs and their strawberry shake is so amazing.! I'm typically picky but the first time I've had it, it was so amazing now every time i come i HAVE to get one.!! The lines are usually long when i go but it's so worth the wait.!!! This is a decent place, for being in a not so good neighborhood. Yet, everything time I come here, I am waiting for about 15 minutes. If I wanted to wait that long, I would have gone Jack in the Box. The food is decent, not praise worthy. Just an FYI. They will get your order wrong a couple of times, then they will deny they didn't. What a waste and shame. read more

I waited in this like for 35 minutes, my son got out of the car to take my dog out in the buses and 2 guys who were supposed to be working came out accusing him of trying to break into there car , A guy who claimed his name was "David" took my order he was a young hispanic with glasses he was extremely rude while taking my order he claimed they were out of all shakes also claimed they were out of Dr Pepper I asked for bbq sauce with my 5 orders of chicken and he claimed I had to pay extra , another kid who claimed his name was gio at the window was also extremely rude no one had a name tag or a mask on I would never return back to this location they have poor service and don't know how to treat customers properly. read more

The food was always ok, but customer service is lacking. Made an order at the drive thru, confirmed the orders at the window and while waiting my mom decided she wanted to switch out her drink for a shake. What should've been a simple upcharge turned into them not charging for one of the combos but instead of correcting it at the drive thru, we had to go in. Whole point of the drive thru is to DRIVE THROUGH. When I took my migraine inside, there was still an upcharge for the mistake they made of not charging in the first place. Stupid situation that could've been avoided by listening to the customer. I'm never rude, and I don't expect to be treated rudely either. read more

This is my go to old school hamburger place. Get the double cheeseburger combo. Great food at an awesome price. The fries are good and crisp. The neighbor hood is not very nice but I drive out of my way to go here. I am not a fan of chain food at all. Try it. read more

Wonderful Price, Wonderful Food, and the Service was Excellent! Their employees were top notch, and regularly check on the tables to see if anyone needs refills(Chick-fil-a calls this second mile service). Everything about this place is good. I didn't go in, I went thru the drive thru so this review won't be as long as my others. I got the number 2 with fries and a lemonade. First off the lemonade is so good and homemade, I couldn't stop drinking it that's how amazing it was. The fries were hot and golden and the burger taste like a burger should taste. The buns were toasted and were good to bite into. I got my burger with everything on it and it reminded me of whataburger as a kid growing up in the 90's back when a lot of burger joints were amazing. For the price, Griff's features a meal that stands up to any other fast food burger chain that comes to mind. Griff's is nothing aesthetically, but the old timey feel of this place really brings out the reminiscent nostalgia of decades ago. Griff's is not flashy, or new. Griff's is a standing testament of time that it's product is proven year after year as a crowd pleaser. Don't look for a healthy burger here, Griff's excels at the basic, greasy burger... but it knocks it out of the park. As a native Texan, I feel that Griff's burgers can stand up to all other fast food burger chains, including Whataburger. Finally, what seals the deal for me is the simple things for Griff's... -the classic french fry that is what you expect a french fry to be.. golden fried and with the just right amount of salt. - the ice! The guy at the front register did not welcome us in, he stood there looking at us and didn't even bother to say "what can I get you" so I was pretty confused about that, he talked very low so I could barely hear him. 8-26-2011 Sorry but the flavor is gone from your cheeseburgers. I think you changed the meat patty a couple of months ago. Burger is now too dry.
