Service was horrible, the lady had 0 patience when we just asked simple questions. The skewers are half the size of what it used to be. The skewer used to extend to the foil wrap, now it's half of it. $5 for a skewer that's THAT mini? The chicken sauce also tasted too sweet and more ketchupy than usual. No thanks. Will not come back. Pancit also tasted bad.

Sunday funday at Grill City. Doing our 2wk Filipino run @ Seafood City and came early for late breakfast. They ran out of fried rice but that's okay, reg rice is good too. We ended up with the 'Grand Wow Silog Promo'. Buy 2 Get One Free. We got the Baby Bangus, Sweet Longanisa, Chicken Tocino. The service was good, the lady taking our orders was friendly. Food was good. Eating area clean.

I really enjoy the pork and chicken grilled skewers with barbecue sauce. Also, in my humble opinion, they have the best vegetables lumpia's in Orange County.

I like their chicken adobo and sinigang, I'm not a true Filipino LOL, but TO ME, it's good :) The service is sometimes really slow here, and the titas take their time - but I'm glad there is a place like this near to me for a quick grab and go, otherwise I'm not too fond of driving out to Cerritos just for these items lol. I need more Filipinos in my life! Haha!

I came in to get some skewers. I got two pork, and two chicken. I also got langanisa. For a food court setting everything was pretty good. The langanisa could have used a little spice. There's plenty of seating in the food court, and lots of parking. Service is fast too

Picked up some roast pig from here but the skin was not the best and meat was a bit dry. Would not recommend.

They also have a monthly special where the deluxe menu is buy one get one free with purchase of a drink. Score! We came today for dinner, and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Our family favorites are all their thin sliced meats, and there were many different options today. Beef belly wins our absolute favorite. Our favorite appetizer is their chicken karage, SO good. We made reservations at 5 (when they open), and everything was so fresh and tasty. Save room for their ice cream! I see many wait in line to get seconds. I've been trying to get here for a while and finally had the chance, so I made a reservation directly through the restaurant's Yelp page and even received a confirmation. We showed up excited... only to find out they're closed on Mondays. You can imagine the disappointment on my family's faces--and yeah, I was pretty embarrassed, thinking I had messed something up. But I didn't. If a restaurant is closed on certain days, their reservation system shouldn't allow bookings or send confirmations for those days. We never even made it inside, so I can't comment on the food--but this was a frustrating first impression and something they really need to fix.

We bought a tri tip sandwich, sausage sandwich, 1/2 pound of ribs, and 8 ounce cups of Mac and cheese and the beans with burnt ends. Let's do this. Our order taker was very calm and professional. Them Then the food showed up. Ribs: amazing. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. The sauce was light and sweet. The tri tip was cut thick and seasoned well. I'm from the Central Valley and this meat was a close second, but was DAMN good. The sausage sandwich was paired with a good red vinegar pickle slaw and BUMPED. The beans had huge chunks of burnt ends and had a non-traditional flavor that was smooth and not overpowering. The Mac and cheese was firm, saucy, and had bread crumbs over the top. Not that I can say I'm all that surprised in hindsight, but it's still kind of a shame. Mostly because I just wish the food had been better, but also because, despite how impressive the OC food scene is, I hadn't come across any BBQ joints/Cantonese restaurants that SF has so many of until randomly stumbling across this place! Then again, maybe I've just been too distracted by the many Taiwanese options that the Bay Area is so criminally short on... Compared to some of the Chinese BBQ joints that I frequent in the Bay Area, this place felt so much newer and a whole lot cleaner/nicer. That said, while the menu appeared to be a whole lot narrower, they still had a decent selection of offerings to choose from. Along with their nearly twenty different sides/snack dishes, which include items like pig ears with chili sauce, cucumber salad, chicken wings, wontons in chili oil, and tofu skin salad, they also had BBQ meats, like Roasted Duck, Soy Sauce Chicken, and Char Siu, a mix of rice and noodle dishes, and combination plates of their BBQ meats over rice or noodles. Sadly, though, no crispy skin roast pork, which was a huge bummer. -- SWEET FRIED CORN Admittedly, this initially didn't catch my eye, but I'm glad we ended up trying it. Every piece was crispy and I liked how sweet and flavorful the corn was. Plus, it was how this wasn't all that oily, though, I wouldn't have minded a bit more batter for some added crunch. -- WONTONS IN CHILI OIL Not too shabby. Although the skins felt a little overcooked, each piece was fairly plump and I thought the filling was pretty tasty. It was also unexpected to see a bit of broth with the chili oil, but it had a nice flavor to it and just the right amount of spice. -- TWO BBQ ITEM RICE PLATE with Char Siu and Roasted Duck I was the most excited for this, but it left me feeling conflicted. On the plus side, the bowl had a fair amount of both meats and the duck was really good - really juicy and the skin was golden brown. On the other hand, the char siu was super fatty and the rice was mushy. -- DICED GROUND PORK ON RICE...$13.99 More solid than spectacular, but still satisfying enough. Like with the BBQ plate, the meat to rice ratio favored the former and I thought the egg and the veggies complemented this well. At the same time, I wish this had more sauce to it, as the pork look a little dry/pale. In addition to how convenient it was to come here (there was a steady crowd, but it never got packed inside), I appreciated how fast our food came out. Also, I'm not sure if we just got lucky, but it wasn't nearly as hard to find a space in the complex's parking lot as it seemed it would be. Between all of that, the food being decent, and the relatively friendly service, Frank's BBQ & Noodles wasn't bad for some Chinese BBQ. However, it definitely could've been better, especially if Roast Pork had been one of their offerings!

The food still tastes pretty much the same, although some portions did get a little bigger. I still wish it were more like the Rowland Heights location where the skewers are grilled right in front of you -- that experience just makes the food feel fresher and more enjoyable. The service was okay overall, but some staff members definitely had attitudes, which made the experience a bit annoying. They're only open at night now, which honestly makes sense since this type of food is more of a late-night craving spot. I also came back to try their crawfish for the first time, but personally I feel like 949 Grill does it better. All the tables were full and there was one party of 11 just ahead of us. Our wait for a table was like 30 minutes or so. Once we were up we were guided to a table towards the back for five. Our server asked if we been here before and if we wanted anything else besides water to drink. My brother and his fiance split a full order of the beef ribs and side order of sauteed garlic green beans. My mom and step dad split a full order of beef ribs while I ordered a full rack of baby back ribs which came with two side orders. I picked coleslaw and onion rings which I shared with the family. The food came out promptly. Everyone enjoyed their food. The baby back ribs were moist with flavor, smoked and went well with their bbq sauce. The rest of the family really like their beef ribs. *** SCAM ALERT *** I…read moredon't use the word "SCAM" lightly, but that's what this was. My adult son called in a $281.62 order off the menu for Mother's Day. They would not accept the order or payment over the phone because the order was "too big." They asked that someone go there and pay up front for the entire order. Since it was the evening before Mother's Day, I drove to them and paid for the order. Yes, I was also presented with a minumum 20% TIP screen, which I declined. When I got there at pickup time (4:00pm) on Mother's Day, the price changed to $325.51. I was told that, for some reason, they had cut about 50% larger portions than the menu specified (see the line items, which should have been 1 lb. each), so they charged me for the difference ($325.51 - $281.62) which was $43.89 (about 50% more for the 2 items they cut heavier). No, there was no mention when I placed the order that the total cost might change due to extra meat. Neither is it shown on their web site or printed menus. When I protested, there was no option. If I don't pay the $43.89 difference, I don't get the Mother's Day food. After about 20 minutes of bickering at the counter with two different clerks (note the time stamp differences on the credit card slips), I was given my original order, with a net price reduction of ($281.62 - $254.93) $26.69. My persistence had paid off. On a positive note, the cook did, twice, walk up to me and quietly apologize for what was going on. I know many folks would have folded in this situation, but that's not my nature. I don't stand for dishonesty. Yes, it was embarrassing, other clients in line were not happy (I let them skip ahead of me so as not to inconvenience them). None of them had price increases. I don't know if the clerks wanted a tip because the management doesn't pay them much, or it this goes deeper and is standard operating procedure that assumes most clients will simply approve of the overage and pay up. In any case, from this client's point of view, this is a SCAM! When it was all over, I took my 11 and 12 year old grandsons (who had been sitting patiently waiting for grandpa to pay) and my food package to the car, drove home and proudly presented the meat to my family. After all, I am a hunter-gatherer; and the food was great!
