Cool little hole in the wall place! I've driven past a couple times and it never seems to have many cars but someone finally convinced me to stop by and let me tell you, it's pretty good. We decided to have an early dinner so we were there at like 4:30 and the only customers. You can pick where you sit and they also have outdoor seating with little spring horses for kids to ride on. Waitress took our order and food came out pretty quick. Mozzarella sticks were standard, nothing too special or remarkable. Now the pizza slice, I tried the KC Hunna BBQ which is their bbq Hawaiian pizza and let me tell you, it was huge! I saved room so I was able to eat the whole slice but don't be afraid to have leftovers. It's a thin crust because it's NY style but it doesn't come out burnt, just a little crisp. So much flavor and plenty of meat, I also choose no jalapeños since I'm not a fan. I also tried a tater tot and those are well seasoned so I'd also expect their fries to be seasoned as well. The only issue I had was it being quite warm, but for an open kitchen and the heat index being 115, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. I will definitely be back to try more pizza, and I'll make good use of their big parking lot and bring some friends!

Pizza is great and music venue is one of my favorites our in crossroads. The staff always get delivery and in service order effienciently out to folks. No matter the crowd size. 10/10 and obsessed with this place.

The food is amazing! Would highly recommend the Philly cheese steak, the Big O' barrels, the calzone, and the Santorini salad!!! We are never disappointed!

Staff was friendly and helpful. Food came out quickly. Wings had a good flavor and were meaty. The chili had a good spice with just the right amount of flavor and heat in my opinion!! Will definitely order it again.

Philly cheesesteak sandwich that is made with pastrami and prime rib

All three of us came in and had Philly cheesesteak sandwiches. One of us tried the pastrami/prime rib cheesesteak. The other others all had the traditional. They have a nice portion of meat on a, slightly larger than a hotdog bun, hoagie roll. The smoke of the housemade pastrami was nice. Highly recommend getting extra cheese because who doesn't love a cheesesteak really cheesy? We enjoyed their potato chips. However, their tots are nicely done and you can order toppings that make them stellar. Service was on point. We got there right around when a large group arrived, but there was not a long wait. As usual, as we're walking in the restaurant, we can tell people are having lots of fun in their outdoor area. That's a must try for us sometime when it's a little cooler.

Pretty neat place with lots of character! I had the Cubano and it was excellent although the chips are a little stale. Chris had the Mommy Pastrami and he said it was just okay although it looked really good. Rhi had the West Clubber with tater tots. It was her 2nd time here and she ordered the same items as she said she really liked the combo. Service was quick and our server was attentive.

Mid. Food was cold and the wings were under sauced. Very short staffed (felt bad for the 2 servers busting their butt). Probably won't come back. We had to get a refund on the chicken fried chicken.

Philly steak n cheese , no veggies

Walking into the area where the front door is brings you to a different vibe , the pathway to what ??? .... Love it , walked onto the restaurant , love the old world charm all the wood . Very nice ! Server was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu , answered many questions . The menu is very large but manageable (coming from a management perspective ) on to the food !!!! OMG ! I ordered a Philly steak , many choices of cheese , I'm a plain Jane , so no veggies for me . I chose good old American cheese , meet was very easy to chew no issues , very tender . I met the manager very friendly gave me the background of the company , great conversation! Will go back at least 2 times a month so many food items I need to try . I might need to invest in stocks in this company :)

Grinders is fantastic! Great service and the food is amazing! Burgers, pizza... they have it all! I've eaten here twice now and both meals were great. This last time we ate outside, the patio is awesome. My burger was cooked well, and was quite tasty. The soft pretzel really stole the show. The app platter was a great option, give it a try!

I was craving some pizza and some tater tots so why not have both combined. Grinders offers a cute outside patio area as well as indoor seating and a bar. My one complaint is our order did take what seemed like a while but not too terribly long. We ended up ordering the Le hog which comes with a creamy white sauce, bacon, Canadian bacon, ham, and meatballs. We then added the world famous chili bomb, which includes chili cheese, whiz, and scallions on the middle of our pie. The pizza was delicious and I will be back again very soon.

Supreme-o, this was just once slice.

Not only did this place have a great atmosphere and great staff, it had, hands down the best Philly cheesesteak I've ever had.

Their burgers are amazing. They have huge New York style pizza that is so big, it hangs off the plate. One of my favorite lunch spots!

Great Pizza and what a mix of brews! It also was nice to have a "backyard" for the kids to play in while we waited.

There's something suspicious about the reviews for Buenos Aires Restaurant in Shawnee. They're…read moreeither glowing five-star praises or scathing one-star warnings. My experience leans toward the latter, though I'm giving it two stars solely because our server was kind and genuinely tried his best. I initially asked for a cocktail menu, having seen several drinks featured on their Facebook page. The waiter informed me they don't have a bar, had just gotten their liquor license, and could only make a drink if I provided a recipe. That was a red flag. He ended up calling the owner, who texted over a few recipes. At that point, we settled for sangria because I didn't feel comfortable letting someone wing a cocktail from memory. Then came the next blow: they were out of all steak items and all desserts. This was frustrating, especially after ordering a pitcher of sangria under the assumption we'd be enjoying a full meal. We ordered the "Taste of Argentina" to sample a variety. The first dish to arrive was an empanada and it was passable, but the filling was slightly cold, clearly reheated, likely in an air fryer. That was fine. Next came a plate with a basic ham and cheese sandwich, a small salad, and potato salad. The sandwich was generic, something you'd expect from a deli cooler, though the salad was fresh. The second plate was, frankly, inedible. Everything tasted like it had just come out of a microwave. The pizza was soggy, the chicken with cheese was flavorless, and another meat-and-cheese item had a strange, off-putting taste and again, cold in the center. The only remotely decent thing was a sausage sandwich, which was just okay. What baffles me is that it wasn't even busy. It was just one other table occupied, so there's really no excuse for this low level of quality. For a $40 sampler plate and a $40 pitcher of sangria, we received maybe $5 worth of food, both in taste and presentation. I won't be returning, and frankly, I'm confused by the flood of five-star reviews. Based on our experience, they do not reflect reality.

Pretty good eats, great specials, and a full bar makes for a solid dining option for solos, couples, or families. You'll find Murphy's Corner nestled into a strip center facing 87th. The owner apparently did catering prior to opening this space and you can certainly tell with the food. The menu has lots of options, from standard pub fare to housemade pizza to some rather artisanal salads. I'd suggest the chicken sandwich, hand-breaded and fantastic. Or even the Hinkle, roast beef & thinly cut pork tenderloin with a sweet pepper aioli, is a fabulous sandwich. But don't miss that happy hour from 2:00-6:00 on weekdays. The smashburger special runs $6 for a single, and even that is a fair-sized burger, and maybe share a side with someone special. The smashed patty(s) come with the usual accoutrements, including a 'special sauce' that makes the smash a smash. Secret of the pros: get two patties, because it's worth the extra $3 and it's sensational. If there is any knock, then it might be the speed of service. Having stopped in several times, I don't think I have ever had the kind of turnaround that I can get many other places. But the food often makes it worth the wait, so I can only knock it for one star. Pricing is fair and certainly on the level with the area, parking is shared with other spots along the strip, and the atmosphere is wonderful. There are a TON of TVs in all directions, and you can even sit on the patio in nicer weather. It's a neighborhood spot with great food, great atmosphere, and great specials. Get there.
