I literally was able to walk in, get measured, asked all the questions I could think of, choose my grips, decide on length and walk out with newly done clubs in less than 20 minutes. It helps to do a little bit of research but the two guys that were there were super helpful and very friendly. Stopped by Grips Fast Golf today with my son to get a new super stroke putter grip installed on my putter that I ordered online. I walked in and got service immediately. I've periodically driven by this place probably since their inception but never stopped in until today. The kid was complaining his new clubs needed upgraded grips because they were hurting his hand/fingers. I'm always referring the kid as milk toast because of his whining and excuses. I'm thinking no way because these clubs are a brand new set of Callaway Apex's. So after hitting a few balls myself, I relented and agreed they were indeed uncomfortable and in searching for a place to re-grip these clubs, I rediscovered "GripFastGolf" after Googling a pro shop for re-gripping. We didn't get any of the names of the people working inside but it was certainly a small family owned business. We brought in the clubs and the kid picked out the grip he liked and they were installed right on the spot in about 15-20 minutes and the price was very reasonable. They also have an assortment of used clubs too so if you're someone just getting into the sport and looking for some clubs, they may have what you're looking for as they had several on display. They even have a little netted indoor range that you can possibly use to try any club. Well....the kid no longer has any more excuses.....new clubs, new grip and lessons from a real PGA Pro. I just hope high school golf resumes next spring. BTW....if you want lessons, check out Don Thames at Emerald Golf Course in EG. Great personable instructor and can demonstrate hitting a ball with amazing grace with deadly accuracy. After seeing him in action, it makes me want to experience watching pros play in person. Good place for a quick grip change. They do it while you wait. Good idea to know what you want though because there is ZERO help from the staff. Basically, you pick it and they put it on. Service is quick but expensive. I had two grips done and it was $50!. I got the tacky golf pride for my driver and a super stroke on my putter. Found the same Golf Pride grip at Dick's for $6.95. Granted these guys install it but can't imagine what a whole set would cost to be re gripped. I was literally in and out in ten minutes including grip selection. If you want it done quick, it's a good spot. I hear Land Park GC does it on the spot too and may be more competitive. Sorry to drop that but like I said, $50 for two clubs is $$$. read more

(That guy did have a Fatso grip installed) Most of the times they will change while you wait. I needed a club cut down 1/2 " and they did it on the spot. You'll need a new grip after of course. Do not go to this place if you need ferrules replaced. I needed 2 clubs replaced and waited a day and a half for the epoxy to cure. Started hitting balls in my net at home and the head came loose after a few swings. They did fix it for free, but I'm not confident they did it correct and they didn't even use a matching ferrule. Guess I'll see if the head comes loose again. Update: Waited 4 days for the epoxy to cure before hitting and sure enough, after a few swings, the entire head came off the shaft. Thankfully my net at home as additional support or else the head would've went straight through the drywall. Can't believe I paid money for this type of service read more
