The slow burn pizza is really good. Crust is amazing and I being from the Chicago area I am a pizza snob.

Food is good. Don't be like us and sit at a table for 20 minutes, orders are done at the bar.

    Great place for large groups

We aren't drinkers, but we l come here for the food, chill vibes, and proximity to the house. The thing that I love about this place is that anybody in the group can order exactly what they want and they get a buzzer to pick up their meal at the kitchen window. Making it very easy for large groups to come and enjoy themselves. It can't get crowded pretty fast, especially when a game is going on, but they also have TVs outside, which make it a little bit more ample in space. I will say the food is absolutely incredible, decently priced, and good portions. We always come back for the pizza, it is a brick oven pizza and the ingredients are fresh and well prepared! The reason I gave this a four star review was only because I wish there was a little bit more options when it came to non alcoholic drinks, but maybe I'm the idiot for coming to a brewery and drinking no beer . I will say they do have the Saint Arnold's root beer that is always ahead with the pizza! Great place to have some yummy and watch a good game.

I love that more craft breweries have a full bar! My friend and I recently had dinner and drinks at Gristworkz. We came on a Thursday which meant all day HH specials! We enjoyed our visit so much that we went back later that same evening for late night bites and drinks. Parking: They have a parking lot behind the building with a moderate number of spaces. You can also park on the street. Parking wasn't an issue on a Thursday evening. Space: The indoor area is pretty spacious. They have quite a few large benches throughout which is perfect for groups. There are a couple of high top tables and a few seats at the bar. There's also a large patio out front. I liked the murals and I noticed they have board games too. The vibe was chill and very laid back. Drinks: I enjoy craft beer, but I was in the mood for a cocktail. All menu cocktails were 50% off. I had a lemon drop martini and it was so good! When we returned, I ordered a tall Hendrix G+T. It was only $9 and it wasn't even one of the HH specials! What a steal! Food: I ordered the Korean Chicken Sando. I honestly wasn't expecting much because it's bar food, but I was shocked at how beautiful the presentation of this sandwich was on the plate. The portion of the sandwich is very filling! The chicken was very crispy and I enjoyed the tanginess of the BBQ sauce. The garnish on the plate was a nice touch! When we returned, I ordered French Fries ($5 HH price). They could have been a little crispier, but I enjoyed them. The kitchen was open until 11 pm which was a bonus. Staff: Emily was so nice and helpful. All of the staff we interacted with were really nice. I'm looking forward to going back so I can try one of their beers lol.

Gristworkz never disappoints the $20.00 burger fries and a beer deal and the 1 whole pizza 2 beer combos will keep me coming back to try the whole menu. The staff was friendly and quick, the chief even put the mayo aoli and the other a1 sauce on the side. The bar was comfy very spacious I enjoyed the option of outdoor seatings but maybe when it gets a little cooler.

Came here for the first time for a little Sunday Funday action with a big group to celebrate a birthday. There is some street parking out front, and a designated lot out back. Inside the place has some cool street art for decor. I noted a patio out back for sunny days. The place was mostly empty except for our big party, and few people. Drinks - I saw the brewery to the side of the bar/ordering counter where you ordered. I was torn between 2 brew options Hot Boi and Side Gig (I think those are correct). So I asked the server and he let me sample both. I went with the sour, Side Gig. It's not too sour actually, very lemony, bright, easy. Food- I ordered the daily special. Any kind of menu burger, fries/tots, and beer for $15, which seemed like a fair deal. There is a large open glass kitchen near the door. Which seemed a bit empty. I only saw 1 guy in there, maybe 2? Food for our group came out in waves, which is fine, understandable. Burger- I got the Thick and Hardy- I dig the name. It's got a kick with that jalapeño action. I appreciate the carmalized onions. Fries tasted like Checkers or Popeys, so at least they were seasoned, win. Service - was ok. Bartender forgot to my pour my beer. I had to go back up to the bar, and wait for a different bartender to get my drink. I wouldn't say we were checked on or even greeted. Who knows, you may have a fantastic experience here, so try it out. Wishing this business well.

I came here with friends to watch the Cotton Bowl (UT vs Ohio State). This was recommended by a good friend who chose this place or Highline Park at MKT Heights. I called Highline Park, and they were completely booked to reserve seats to watch the game. Gristworkz is near Bad Astronaut. I called Gristworkz, and Dave, one of the owners, answered right away. He told me he had to pull over to talk since he was driving. I offered to call back later, but he found a spot to park and took my call. I really appreciated that! I was able to reserve one of their indoor picnic table seating. When I arrived, I saw the laminated sign taped on the table with my name on it. It took me a while to find since it was my first time here, but it was just a few feet by the entrance door. At the bar, ordered a THC mocktail minus the THC and a hibiscus ranch water for my friend since it was part of their HH menu and some HH appetizers. I was given a buzzer for the food though I didn't really know where to pick up. I didn't notice where the kitchen was. Oops. I finally found it with some redirection! The white widow sans the THC was really good because it was like a piña colada, and I had been on a piña colada kick since my birthday trip to the DR. Still kinda am. I love pineapple. Was surprised pricing is still $12 without the THC. For the HH appetizers, I had LT nachos and Brussels sprouts. I enjoyed both, however, the vessel or plating used was not good. It was too small, and I felt like the nachos would fall on the table. I had to go back to the window to ask for a plate for the nachos. Waited a while till someone noticed. The Brussels sprouts were flavorful. They just need to be cut smaller like in half for the bigger pieces. Made it harder to eat, and I tried to cut them with the knife, but the round container also made it hard to cut efficiently. I would have both dishes again and try something else. I tried some of my friend's tater tots, and they were tasty - perfectly crispy and seasoned well. Music was playing through the speakers, but they changed it just in time for the game. I thought the place was pretty relaxed for a bar. I think because the TVs were small and made it kind of hard to watch. There was a mixed crowd and a large party most of the night. It didn't get overcrowded like most places. Also, the bartender and Dave were so great about clearing the tables and picking up drinks when we were finished. Super nice. I liked this bar and would come back since the owner was so nice, and I enjoyed the food. Plus, it's only about 10 minutes away from me, so it's a nice option to have.

I was hungry late in the evening and stumbled on Gristworkz. Super friendly staff and regulars, delicious supreme veggie pizza, original and refreshing beers. You can sit on the patio out front or inside at a table or the bar.

Another great recommendation from the homie Tiffany J, you never seem to disappoint. I really like this spot because it's not too loud. We came here for the Ohio ST./Texas game & to be honest I was expecting a large crowd & drunk people screaming at the game. It was the total opposite, everyone was more on the chill side & just enjoying their drinks/food while watching the game. This is a brewery but they have a full bar. I started off with an old fashioned; while it was strong the drink itself didn't have the best presentation. I always expect for an old fashioned to have one block of an ice cube & some cherries to top it off, but it didn't. Next, I ordered their buffalo chicken wings with blue cheese. While the wings were huge, flavored wise it could've been spicier. I thought the blue cheese was made in house but they added chunks of blue cheese into the dressing. It was still good though. After I got some food into my system I ordered a mock-tail. I got the white widow which is their piña colada. I love that they have THC in it & yes it had me in the clouds for a bit. Since it's a mock-tail I asked for a shot of rum. The drink was delicious, I downed that within a minute. Great pineapple flavor with a hint of lime. To end the night I ordered their classic cheeseburger and it comes with fries and or tots & a beer of your choice for $15, great deal if you asked me. Tiffany and I shared the food & she had the IPA. I didn't ask if it was good but I'm sure it was. They make their burgers smashed style. It was good but it didn't have the crispy edges that I was expecting. The Bun was good in quality & I love that they caramelized their onions. Tots came out fresh & hot. Overall, it was a very good experience. Everyone I interacted was very nice and helpful. Shoutout to the owner Dave. He was hands on with interacting with customers & busting tables. Emily the bartender was working her tail off getting drinks out in a timely manner. This will be my go to spot for a chill night with the homies. 4 stars for the experience but I'll give them a 5 because Dave & Emily did an awesome job. Will be back soon.

My friends and I were hanging out nearby and wanted something casual and new to us to grab a bite and a drink. Gristworkz popped up on Yelp so we headed on over. There's not much about them on their website and not too many reviews but it looked promising. It's listed as a brewery but it's so much more. There's plenty of parking in the back. Walking up, there's a nice outdoor patio. Inside is spacious with lots of long tables. There's a bar to the right, what looks like where they brew off in the corner and a large open concept kitchen. There wasn't many people there but the bartenders at the bar seemed preoccupied with their friends sitting at the bar. I ordered my items and about 10 people that ordered after me got their food before me. I noticed everyone had a buzzer except me. I brought this to the young lady's attention and pretty much got dismissed and said my food will be out. Only after talking to the kitchen staff did I finally get my order that they claimed they never saw. Customer service definitely needs help here. Again, it's labeled as a brewery here, but they also have cocktails and wine offerings. I was curious about their brews and went with the Hot Boi which is a pineapple and tangerine blonde ale. It was pretty tasty and refreshing. It seemed liked everyone in my large group liked their drinks as well. I was in the midd for a burger and saw they have an everyday deal. 15 bucks for any burger, fries and beer. Considering you pay almost that much at a fast food restaurant without the beer nowadays, it seemed like a no brainer. I got the Hardy Burger because the ingredients called out to me. It had American cheese, poblano peppers, jalapeño peppers and caramelized onions. The burger was pretty good and came with delicious fries. I like that they have different options as far as food goes too. I heard the pizza was delicious but I didn't have room to try it. I did have room for one solo Brussels sprouts and they were done really nice here. Overall, the customer service left a bad taste in my mouth considering it's where I wanted to have my birthday lunch. Luckily none of my friends got the same rudeness, but it left a bad impression on them too the amount of time I had to wait even after bringing it up. Not sure I'll be back.

Ambiance: Fun brewery/bar with a patio area and inside dining space. The patio is dog friendly and looked like a great spot for large groups to sit & enjoy food/drinks together. We sat inside and found the vibes to be super fun - not too loud or crowded on a Saturday afternoon which was nice. Loved the hamburger and tater tots! Delicious drinks as well - my husband enjoyed their beer options. Clean bathrooms, decent pricing. Quick service and friendly. I would definitely go back with friends as a fun weekend lunch or day drinking spot!

I've been here about 3 times and each time was a great experience. You order everything at the bar, I always get the pizza! The bartender is great at making anything you put your mind on. I love that it's dog friendly on the patio --connected by a garage window to come inside. On hot days they keep it closed which is nice. The employees keep cleanliness first! Also, the restroom is always clean & that is a big thing for me.

My good friend lives right up the street and we were looking for a good spot close by to get a quick bite and some drinks. I guess this was previously a different brewery we didn't get to go to but now its more so of a bar with both beer and cocktails and an in-house kitchen that was pretty good. My fiance and I shared an order of tacos which were great and also an elote which was solid. We had a few cocktails and I had a neat bourbon and everything was priced very fair and tasted good. I'd like to visit again and check out their beers. Friendly neighborhood bar that I recommend for small or large groups.

I asked if they had stickers and I got the same "Nope". I asked if they ever had them or if they were just out, "out" was the reply. Not exactly a chatty guy. So, this most recent visit, I came with a couple buddies. We stopped in before the World Baseball Classic. Still no flights and still no stickers. They are also heavy on the cannabis side of things. Areas for improvement: Get some stickers offer flights so people can try your beers parking sucks

The first time that I went there, I went by myself and had a seat at the bar. The bartender was attentive and greeted me when I say down. I ordered some beers and a hot dog with chili.
