Stopped in for a late morning breakfast. Was a little crowded but we were seated right away. Server checked on us quickly. Saw their menu which was huge but we were able to find what we needed. Ordered and door came quickly. Enjoyed the meal.

Fish and Home Fries? Swing and a miss ...

So I have been coming every Friday during Lent for fish and chips because it is really good. I've been very consistent in my order such that she knows my order when I walk in. Always good always consistent except for this time. Fish and Home Fries? What cook in their right mind could possibly think that at 4pm someone would order Fish and Home Fries?!

Plenty of senior couples were enjoying lunch with friends on our weekday visit. Our waitress was the sweetest grandma type who knew what she was doing. The menu is quite large and the dessert display case has soooo many tempting desserts. A host sat us in a booth. Drinks were ordered while we read the menu and specials. The Blackened talapia sandwich I ordered was not at all spicy. The lettuce and tomato on there was nice and fresh. The bun soft. The frozen fries are meh. Crispy when hot but quickly loose their appeal. The Italian sub is quite large and filling. Half of that came home. Each sandwich came with coleslaw that is heavily dressed in mayo with no spices. Salt and pepper are on the table. Restrooms are to the right as you enter the building. They are older and clean. Counter seating is available across from the entrance. Plenty of parking in their large private lot. The check was handy when we asked the waitress. Pay the cashier by the door.

We stopped by here for a bite while in Groton as we did not want to eat at a chain or fast food restaurant and the options in the area are not plentiful. Groton Townhouse is a large restaurant opened 24 hours and it looks like it once was the place to go for a good meal. They have some enticing sounding meal specials. The menu is extensive and breakfast is served all day. We ordered a chicken fried steak with sausage gravy and a BLT club with onion rings and 2 unsweetened iced teas. Service was adequate. The meals were ok. Mostly frozen and cooked to order. Restrooms were clean and there is a huge parking lot.

    Our Famous Greek Salad... huuuuge!

3.5 stars.. When it's called "our famous Greek salad" you can't go wrong... cool crisp lettuce mix covered with tons of toppings and a sliced chicken breast. Dressings were a great compliment. I couldn't pass up dessert as the display case was calling me, so I opted for the carrot cake. Moist and sweet, was a great finish to the meal. Ambiance is diner lunch counter, service was friendly and helpful, and prices are in line with expectation. I don't get here often, but if I do I'll pop back in!

Very nice service, clean bathrooms and there are beautiful cakes made fresh you can take a slice from! The decor and set up is very cafeteria like and traditional. I can tell they've never changed the furnishings since this was built.

This is a nice little restaurant. It seemed clean and the staff seemed friendly for the most part. The person taking the money seemed a little unfriendly but not horribly so. I ordered it BLT here very light on the mayonnaise and it was quite good. The amount of fries they give you is crazy! I couldn't eat half of them. I thought almost $16 for a sandwich and fries and a drink seemed a bit high but that may be normal for the area. The sandwich had plenty of bacon on it and it was crispy just as I had asked. The tomato seemed a little over ripened but right now with all the shortages it was a pretty good tomato. One of the things I really liked about this place is that they serve breakfast all day. I will definitely be back to try it. Seems like a nice little diner and one of the few diners left that give you real glass for your drinks. The menu is huge and could take a while to read the whole thing. They have everything from breakfast to sandwiches to entrées and even seafood.

Play food. Pretty crazy. It tasted like actual play food like a kids' toy. So much money for play food. Corn chowder was good though.

The place is very big, so if you are going with a group or family they have the space. There is a small awkward parking lot in the back, so mostly street parking. Arrived (party of 4) just after 5pm, took a few minutes to be sat, even though the place was empty. One bartender and one waitress. Received two menus and were told to scan the QR code on the table, seemed odd. It took a while to give our order, so we ordered everything at once. Wings, truffle fries to start. Scallop Risotto, Fish& chips, fried shrimp basket and caesar salad with chicken. Drinks arrived minus one because they were out of the whiskey, provided a replacement, but the drink never came to the table. Food was ok. The fried things were very tasty and well made. The wings were nice, tender and good sauce/flavor. Truffle fires were good, little heavy on the truffle oil, but tasty Scallops were prepared well but the "risotto" was more like rice pilaf. The caesar salad was nicely dressed, the added chicken was grill to as close to raw and still be "cooked". It was very soft and chewy - that was pushed to the side. If you go, stick to the bar, brunch, apps, or something fired. I think this place is good if you go when they are fully staffed or something. I would happy choose someplace else if I were in town for a show.

Service is great, very attentive and friendly. The food is what earns this three stars. I tried a stuffie, German onion soup, a Farmhouse burger, and a key lime Mason jar. The stuffie was a little small, and most of the flavor was imparted by the ham and the squeeze of lemon. The German onion soup, I'm not sure why it was German except to not be French? Outside the name difference, the onions were way too large, and there was a total lack of flavor going on in the soup. The crock was very large too. The burger and fries looked pretty good, and I enjoyed the flavors here. The fries were rough hewn, so there was good crispness from all the edges. The toppings of the burger, and the bun, were also hearty. Unfortunately, my medium rare burger was more like raw meat with surface browning. I'm a big fan of rare steak, but ground beef needs a little more cooking. Also, the house made ketchup is really more of a marinara sauce. If I'd ended up eating more of my plate before they took it away to re-fire the burger, I would have asked to replace the ketchup. The key lime Mason jar was e everything you want to wrap up a meal. Great flavor, lightness, citrus. I did have to bring most of it home but, unlike the burger they brought back in a box, I'm excited to get back into the key lime. From an accessibility stand point, there is no ramp to get in nor handicap parking, so the evidently don't want your business. Once you're in, there are some seats you could get in, but if this place were full it would be difficult to navigate for anyone. The bathroom is a single room, but very spacious and nice. So, mixed bag for access. Your mileage may vary, but I'm not racing to return.

Big place that takes up a entire corner in downtown Chicopee, MA. Three parking lots behind the restaurant. Offering lunch & dinner Sun-Thu 11:30am-9pm, Fri & Sat 11:30am-10pm. We visited here on Saturday evening April 18. 2026. This place was highly recommended by our friends from the German-american Club of Albany (NY). Half our party had been here many previous times & for the other half, it was our first time. This day they were hosting their annual wild game feast in the banquet hall. 50+ people attended this event. Munich Haus has 20 or so special events per year. Our party of six was here for dinner. Our server was the spunky Maria who made this a memorable dinner. We were here for their famous schnitzels. A hearty meal excellently prepared and served eight ways. Comes with soup or salad and choice of two sides (i.e. spaetzle, potato pancakes, sauerkraut, red cabbage, or chef's vegetable). Also you can get a schnitzel sampler of 3 varieties. WOW! Also offered are sauerbraten, rouladen, chicken Reisling, braised lamb shanks, a variety of wursts (sausages) and delicious dessets. It's simply WUNDERBAR! Many thanks again to Maria & the rest of the Munich Haus staff for a tasty & memorable dinner road trip "for a taste of Germany, no passport required." I come here every few years because I love German food, when I am in the mood. I've always liked it…read more... this time it was so-so. The food was a 3 star affair, at the most. Staff was 5 star. Atmosphere, 4 stars. The menu here is almost exactly same as the famous Student Prince restaurant in Springfield. Parking is much easier but I prefer the Student Prince's old school 1940's decor. The prices are similar ... high. 3 p.m. dinner only menu. Seriously?? The prices are double vs. lunch. Who eats dinner at 3 p.m. Those 10 minutes in between 2:50 pm and 3:00 pm cost me about $25 extra. The worst part of my meal ... Apple Strudel dessert. This isn't apple strudel. It's a weird thin-skinned apple pie with a lot of almost creamy chopped apple filling. The filling seems to contain cream of some sort and tasted a bit sour/spoiled. There is no satisfying crispiness or crunch ... it's a sloppy mess. Definitely recommend not getting this. Jager Schnitzel ... The brown gravy sauce with mushrooms was fantastic. However, there wasn't enough of it and the pork was dry and pounded way too thin, so it felt a little like eating a piece of cardboard with panko breading. Spaetzel ... Great. On the small side but perfectly buttered and tasted great. Red cabbage was also very good. Salad ... Came with the meal but I was charged $3 more for Roquefort cheese dressing. Wasn't told about the upcharge ... but the other options for dressing weren't very exciting. The Roquefort is a few crumbles of cheese mixed into sweet Russian dressing. Probably would just go with a regular dressing. The staff was great and the waitress was so perky and helpful. The host was extremely nice and accommodating. Nothing bad to say about the staff here ... they are probably the only reason I am giving 4 vs. 3 stars. The prices seem very high ... $19 for 2 sausages ... $26 for Schnitzel ... $14 - $19 for appetizers. $13 pretzel. It's all high quality stuff for sure. But, after tip, my bill was $60 for Schnitzel, a beer and a so-called Struedel. I guess that's kind of everywhere these days though. If you like German food, which is hard to find, they've been doing it for a long time. It's good ... but nothing amazing. The restaurant is clean ... staff is nice ... and menu is unique and authentic. Beer list is good and though $9 each, it comes in a tall glass ... 22 ounces?
