Just make sure to check the time. Sometimes it closes early. You can also pregame here before going out to party or stay here and party. There is no food but they will let you bring birthday cake. Plan to eat before or after. The hookah prices are affordable. It last a while so the relighting is not often. There is a small dance area in the front and tables. In the back is sections. The did have a DJ each time I went. Street parking is available. I highly recommend to uber here. The service has been fast every time I have been there whether packed or not. read more

We've been regular customers at Ground Level Lounge for some time. We usually order multiple hookahs and bottles and make a point of tipping well because we've genuinely enjoyed the place in the past. Unfortunately, seating has become a recurring problem. On our most recent Friday visit, we were once again directed to the front area near the constantly ringing doorbell. This was the third or fourth time this has happened. We declined the noisy seating and left. As frequent guests who support the business consistently, it's disappointing to feel that our loyalty isn't recognized. Because of this repeated issue, we won't be returning. We hope the team can improve how regular customers are treated going forward. read more

If I could leave ZERO starts I would! My co worker called for pricing and was charged for something tottaly diffrent! When we got there the out looked super sketchy, inside it was beautiful! Love the decor, the ambiance but that was it! We had a party of 6 for a co worker birthday and wanted to have a relaxing laid back time. Walked in and it was empty only another party of 2 was there. A few co workers got there before me and started one hookah. The rest came in I was informed only 2 people per hookah (that was strange to limit amount of people per hookah). We checked the menu for the 2nd hookah flavor and waited about 30 mins for someone to take the order. I stood up to find 2 waitresses in the vape shop that is connected to the lounge. Informed them we wanted to order, waited another 10 mins for a 3rd person to show up! After placing order we was advised they the bar had no beer and we could bring our own with a $25 for a 6pack! we bought a 6 pack and was charged the fee. Other co workers ordered drinks from the bar. Instead of coming to our lounge area she shouted from the bar to the lounge area "what did you want to drink"!! So unprofessional! Our 2nd hookah came out about 10 mins later and it had no flavor at all (yes it was 0 nic for one of the girls who don't smoke) waitress came by a little grumpy and smoked out the hookah with her own hookah tip and realized yea can't taste anything. She goes to the back to get a device too "Pump it" attached a sucking device to jump start the hookah. She uses the same device to blow on the coals that blew ashes all over the tabel and into my beer. After many failed attempts no flavor and we just kind of settled for it. All night terrible service. After about 2 hours we was fed up and over it. Our bill was $291!!!! How on earth did it get that high? Yes I admit we left no tip for the terrible service! Vibes- 5/5. Good lighting , great music (dj after 9pm), cozy lounge seating and big screen tv's. Hookah- 3/5. Never been to a place where they had only given coals once an hour. The hookah was out 20 min before the "complimentary coals" came. Maybe needed more shisha or it wasn't packed right, but it wasn't hitting, even with 3 coals. Service- 4/5. Team was pretty attentive; however was thoroughly annoyed at the constant mention of "complimentary coals" at one hour. Worst experience I've ever had. Brook was disrespectful from the moment we walked through the door. The information online and on their website clearly stated that there was no bar and that customers were welcome to bring their own alcohol literally "BYOB." Because of that, we made an extra stop to buy drinks before arriving. When we got there, we were told the policy had "just changed" and that we would have to pay a $25 fee to bring our own alcohol. That would have been fine if the website had been updated--I would have happily skipped the extra stop and purchased drinks there instead. We politely asked if they could waive the fee since their website was clearly misleading. Brook said she would have to call the owner. I asked if I could speak with the owner directly, and she responded, "Absolutely not." She later came back and said the owner told her to enforce the fee. Instead of trying to resolve the issue, we were essentially told we could leave. "If you are upset you can leave" she said. To make matters worse, Brook insisted on searching our bag as if we were entering a government building or airport. It felt unnecessary, invasive, and added to an already unpleasant experience. I've rarely experienced customer service that made me feel so unwelcome. It's especially disappointing because my friends and I love hookah and were excited to find a new place. The corkage fee of $25 was explained to us via phone, prior to arriving, not at the door. 2. There were no gentlemen in my party, we were a group of 7 women. 3. We didn't have two large bottles. We had two mini bottles 50ml each (airplane size) and one standard bottle (750ml). My friends (group of 3) were told by the people at the door, who greeted them and checked their ID's, that there was no corkage for the two mini bottles, as the remainder of the group was coming in shortly with the standard sized bottle. The $100 fee was never mentioned. 4. Your server explained that it was one hookah per every 3 guests, and to be honest, even if it was for every 2 guests, the question of why the table of 8 next to us was allowed only 2 hookahs, remains. 5. During the two hours we were there, there was only one other large group and two tables of two. Original review: We had an absolutely terrible experience at Ground Level and will not be returning. Before arriving, we called ahead specifically to clarify the BYOB policy. We were told the corkage fee was $25 for bottles up to 750ml -- nothing more. When three of our group arrived first with two 50ml miniature bottles, staff and the manager told us they wouldn't charge for them due to their small size. So far, so good. When the rest of our group arrived with the 750ml bottle we had already disclosed, we were suddenly told the corkage fee was $100 -- four times what we were quoted, and that our bottle had to be held at the bar. When I raised this with the manager and referenced our earlier conversation, she insisted my friend had arrived with five mini bottles, not two. That was completely false. Rather than take our word for it, she demanded we show her the receipt for the mini bottles, which, thankfully, we still had in the ABC Store bag. Instead of apologizing, she walked over to our section and began searching around our table, insinuating we were hiding bottles. We were paying customers there to spend money, not suspects. The issues didn't stop there. We were a group of 7 and ordered 3 hookahs, as instructed based on the per-person policy, we were only required to order 2. One person in our group does not smoke or drink, yet we were still required to order 3 hookahs and pay a $10 cover just for her to sit with us. Meanwhile, the table next to us had 8 people and only 2 hookahs -- no issue raised, no extra charge. The disparity in treatment was impossible to ignore. That table was predominantly Asian and Middle Eastern. Our group was not. Multiple people at our table noted the difference in how we were treated, and it is our belief that the owner harbors racial bias toward guests who are not of Asian descent. This is not the standard expected of a venue marketing itself as a luxury lounge. The experience was hostile, dishonest, and deeply uncomfortable. We would caution anyone -- particularly groups of color -- to think twice before spending their money here. read more
