Great spot with such a fun and relaxing vibe. I appreciate that they source locally but the egg sandwiches literally have no egg and the iced coffee did not wake me up at all. I can't imagine they use more caffine to make it. Also, they fill the cups up with as much ice as possible leaving no room for any coffee. Such a bummer. read more

This was my first visit to Salisbury Beach and we went to groundswell for some breakfast. Friendly staff and a pretty good breakfast menu mostly consisting of breakfast sandwiches and smoothies. Great view of the beach! read more

Solid little coffee spot, in a really nice location. My only warning is be prepared for a mess if one of the managers/owners isn't in. It's staffed by 18-20 year old girls, who were clearly suffering the side effects of a bit too much to drink on sat night (nothing wrong with that, just don't drink if you can't handle your work the next day). They looked like death and forgot 3 consecutive sandwiches(including mine) out of 5 orders that came, 2 people asked for refunds and left, and the sandwiches are pre-made and just heated up. I'm sitting here with my bowl and i'm just SAD. I decided to try out their açaí bowls & paid $10.16 for a single scoop of açaí from their groundswell which seems to be their signature bowl. i went here looking for a breakfast sandwich and when i got there i saw they had a egg cheese and bagel sandwich for 5.50 with no meat, and if you wanted meat you could only choose from bacon, and turkey sausage so i went with a summer special breakfast sandwich and it was dry and tasted like cardboard. read more

Finally decent coffee around here! Acai bowls are amazing, chicken salad wrap was also really really fresh. Menu has light and healthy options as well as sweets and all that. Fun staff. Totally reasonable prices. It's a win. read more

Great place right on the beach. Super tasty bagels and cream cheese. I had veggie cream cheese on am everything bagel with the "Beachy Mocha" iced espresso drink (so good). Add that to free WiFi and great location, thumbs up! :-) read more

The food and drinks are decent enough for a return visit but, 90% of the time, the customer service is terrible. No one thanks you for your business, no one apologizes for incorrect or incredibly slow orders; they barely even speak enough words necessary to take, make, and hand over your order. I've been at least 10 times and I don't think I've ever felt like a valued customer. If someone else opened a similar business with semi decent service, this place would sink into the Atlantic. It pains me they have the market cornered simply due to no nearby competition. If you can fight the urge, save your money or donate it to save the Salisbury seals - who I'm not even sure need saving. read more

I ordered an açai bowl from groundswell this morning for my breakfast before going into work. I paid $12 for the bowl, so that I could add all of the things that I wanted to, and including a tip, and what I got was very underwhelming. There was barely any açai in the bowl itself that I really just ended up eating all of my toppings mixed together. I've been here before and haven't had this problem, I probably won't be returning because of the price and because of the fact that you're not really getting what you're paying for. read more

New business that is totally worth checking out! I work down the beach so it is wonderful to have a place within walking distance to grab an iced coffee. All the fixings are set out so you can milk and sugar to your own desire! The sandwiches are grilled and pressed, and delicious as well. I recommend the gobbler! First of all the staff was not very friendly never said thank you! Second the board of health was there when I visited this sandwich shop. The girl who served me my sandwich also was working the register, she was handling money then cut my sandwich. She is not wash her hands and did not put gloves on. Third there was a girl that was behind the counter in her bathing suit servicing herself. Very confusing and not very friendly. I did not eat my sandwich because I felt is was not safe. Groundswell café is the best new coffee, sandwich, and surf shop on the beach. The owners are wonderful and friendly, working at the shop hard every day. The owner's artwork is also fantastic and for sale at the shop! There is a great, beachy vibe here with SUP paddleboard tours and rentals and excellent beach yoga in the mornings....Do not miss this spot for your summer fun... and try a smoothie while you are there!
